wait staff need more training, it's obvious they are new and couldn't answer questions without checking.

Lovely restaurant with a focus on fresh food and great flavours. Food was beautifully presented . Friendly staff . Went for lunch so not busy or noisy.
Portion size was good.
Only criticism is that alcohol is expensive ($15-17 glass) and I needed to ask for a glass of water which these days I believe should just be served on seating.

Lovely food however rice as our side came out well into our meal we had to keep asking. We had to ask for water. Received warm tap water. When our bottle of wine was finished took the bottle didn’t ask if we required anything. For the amount of staff better service would therefore increase sales. For the prices being charged expect better service

Food was good without being spectacular, we had a seafood linguine not a lot of seafood in it more on the pasta. The front of house needs to be better organised it was amateurish at best. The manager was rude to us so not a great first visit for us maybe second visit might be better. We will go one more time hopefully things improve.

Finally a great seafood and sashimi place at the bay! Had a delicious lunch here. We stuck to starters and sashimi and weren’t disappointed. Everything was fresh with intricate flavours and presented beautifully. Only negative was that they didn’t have any kingfish but it’s just a good excuse for us to visit again. Cocktails and wine were also delicious. We’ll definitely be visiting again and bringing all our friends and family. So pleased that we no longer have to drive to the city for fabulous Japanese or seafood.

The Japanese menu is excellent, beautifully prepared with fresh ingredients and authentic flavours. The 'western' dishes we tried were also excellent. Good wine list, and awesome cocktails. However, the prices were rather steep, qww and the staff seemed somewhat overwhelmed and disorganised. We had booked a table at a set time, then were asked to wait at the bar until a table was available. The bar staff were too busy to take an order, and there were no stools available, so we stood awkwardly waiting for a table. Fortunately the food was so good, we'll probably be back, when our bank account has recovered.

Very fresh and tasty high quality sashimi, good portion sizes, friendly service, impeccably clean setting and one of the best crime brûlée’s I’ve ever had.

A great little addition to Wynnum. Everything was good, though the sashimi was a bit flavourless but seemed fresh.

Cool atmosphere and yummy food. Price is a bit out there. It also seems like a fine dining restaurant (because of the price) but serves fish and chips in a box? Did also order mojitos. Noticed these sitting at the bar for about 10 minutes before being brought over, also being seated close to the kitchen noticed food sitting for a while before being taken to a table. Overall good experience. Probs should review pricing. Left hungry and went to coles

Thank you for taking the time to write a constructive view of our restaurant. We acknowledge your feedback regarding the fish & chips served in a box and we have now changed it to being plated. Our pricing is substantially lower than fine dining restaurants that charge $24 - $29 for entrees & $45 - $52 for the main course. Our menu is in line with the local pubs where the Salmon and Barramundi sell for identical prices. We look forward to welcoming you back to Bay Terrace Seafood & Sushi.

The new place has potential. Food quality was high and some creative hot dishes but the menu is a bit confused: seafood but no Moreton bay bugs; nigiri but no real sushi. Byo would be good as they are competing with local places so this isn’t a cheap night out on comparison with other local restaurants.

We really enjoyed dining here - it was our first visit and were really impressed with the menu - the decor and atmosphere is really lovely. Lots of space and not noisy. Have already recommended this restaurant to other Wynnum locals and will definitely be going back.

Great food; and the staff were friendly, attentive and very professional.
Kids loved it also; and the children's meals were generous in size and cheap (under $10!!).
Great decor, comfy seats and welcoming atmosphere. Brilliant!!!

Right on-point with the service...and the food was so brilliant that we went back the next day, for lunch!
It genuinely looks like a lot of thought and care has gone into this business; and they haven't cut corners with the fit-out or quality of ingredients. Really wish the owners the best of luck. We will be back; and its certainly a welcome addition to the bayside.
