Amazing food. So many subtle flavors.
Everyone was very accommodating and mindful of current circumstances although sidewalk dining, tables could be farther apart. Food was delicious for sure!
Our Rez was for 6:30 but we arrived for happy hour at 6 which went till 6:30. Strange that they wouldn’t let us bring our wine from happy hour to our table, they said happy hour drinks have to stay in the bar area, so we had to chug our wine and proceed to dinner. I ordered lobster risotto and it was amazing. Drinks were expensive but overall a great night out. Amid the covid crisis, all the waiters and workers there wore masks and customers too until dinner was served.
Disappointed in the food given it was so highly recommended but the service & kindness made up.
The food is great, our waitress was exceptional, very knowledgeable came across like she really enjoyed her job.
New to Seattle & feel lucky to have found Barolo on the first night of reopening after COVID-19. This will become a regular stop for us!

I recently dined at Barolo, and it was an outstanding experience. We are not from Seattle, so we made our reservation online, then the day before, we stopped by the restaurant to look it over. We asked if we could choose our table for the following day, and the staff were happy to accommodate us. We chose a booth, along the windows. Very nice choice in the end.
Our overall experience was simply great. Our server, Samantha looked after our every need. She helped us pick the wine, our food choices, and desert. There were other staff who helped out with serving the food, refilling water, etc. They were all very friendly and professional.
While the prices at Barolo are not inexpensive, you do get what you pay for. Fabulous tenderloin steak, grass fed, locally sourced....was simply one of the best I've ever had. All the accompanying dishes were creative and original. No mashed potatoes or simple/cheap dishes. It was all original and exceptional.
I look forward to returning again some day.
It was too dark to see what I was eating. I ordered the rabbit pasta and thought what I put into mouth was an olive. I was unpleasantly surprised that it was a rabbit kidney.
Burata was excellent. Crab linguini was not good tasted like butane. Let the waiter know and still got charged for it. Won't be going back.

The salad and the spaghetti carbonara were excellent. The fettuccini with rabbit ragu was so poor I couldn’t eat it. The pasta was overcooked, the rabbit was grisly and the sauce was terribly sweet. We had a show to go to afterwards but the waitresses kept insisting she bring us out another spaghetti even to take home. So we acquiesced after being pushed so hard. We thought she was doing it to make up for the one bad dish. Then we found she charged us for the extra dish but did take the cost of the rabbit off. A $3 discount. We felt really hustled. The music was really bad loud club music too. Too bad. I’ve had a good experience here before and it’s close to the office so a good choice after work. But not anymore.
Our food was excellent. Service was great. However, despite the tablecloths, the noise at dinnertime was excessive. Lots of large groups, business type groups, and downtown workers.
Convenient for Jazz Alley concert.
The food was good, as well as service.The only complain is the level of noice after fire alarm went on but i doubt you could control that.
Two excellent mains from the regular menu - squid ink pasta with seafood and the duck breast, but the special black cod with “Hawaiian” sauce was overcooked, and the flavors were not that appealing. Tiramisu to die for, however.
Food was good. I wish the waiter knew more about the food on the menu, and didn’t treat us like a quick table to flip especially since there was no one else waiting.

Food and drinks were excellent. Service was bad. We made a reservation way in advance, but lots of people had to wait for their reservations too. At the same time, staff was rude and clearly upset we were all in the way :/
Fantastic! Waiter was awesome, wine selection was impressive as was his knowledge of what they had. Meal was superb! Best dinner all around in Seattle after 5 nights of eating out - our favorite!
The experience was great overall, but the tables were too close together. It was hard for everyone to move around. The table we had was also shaky. The best thing were the entrees and the dessert. I also enjoyed my cocktail a lot. Appetizer was good but not great. Service was great even though they were really busy.

Ambiance is good except if you get to seat in the middle row (in the dining area) it’s really weird.. that was the case for me and didn’t feel like I’m having a private dinner.
I made a reservation but had to wait + they gave me a really weird seat where there is no privacy.
Food was really good but drinks/food both are really pricey. Keep in mind.
My 74th birthday. My party has been at Barolo for a number of years but this year was exceptional and a lot of that was due to our server, Marcin. He went above and beyond.. I will ask for him next year or whenever I’m there.
Perfect service. Confirmed my prediction formula. If you get immediate service with a drink a good bread the rest of the meal will be excellent. The bread was delightful , the service timely and thoughtful and the food delicious and well prepared. The only feedback would be that the plates were odd size and shape especially for a round table.

Decidedly subpar pasta and rude wait staff. We went elsewhere for drinks and dessert because it was just too much. There's so much good food in Seattle and I'm annoyed I wasted the money and time on this place

Not necessarily and every day dining place, but a good place for a good meal.

Visiting from NYC. Felt right at home, one of the better Italian restaurants in Seattle.
Great food but customer service was lacking. Our waiter was outstanding however the hostess and manager were not considerate when we asked for a different table. We were placed at a large group table where there was a wedding party we were at the end of the table separated by candles. While we dined at this group table we noticed that the other tables remained occupied. When we asked why we were placed at this table and not our own private table,we were told it was because we did not have a reservation however we made a reservation through this app.

Very pound Annoying sound coming from a motor fan. And could not even get a smile from the 2 people greetings us at the entrance. Server was nice but food was ok
I have been to Barolo a couple of times. The food has been good and the service has been good. However, the service during this visit was poor.
