Welcome to Baringa Tavern, located on the corner of Aura Boulevard and Edwards Terrace, Baringa within the new City of Colour “Aura” on the Sunshine Coast. We are locally owned and operated by Sunshine Coast Hotels Pty Ltd.

The Tavern's décor has a slight tribal influence with original artwork, artefacts and a striking main bar which forms the centerpiece of the bistro dining area. There is ample seating on the deck overlooking the parkland area, an open kitchen with a fabulous woodfired pizza oven and a large children’s room.

The amazing sports bar has a massive 15m video wall and outdoor deck. There are 40 taps across both bars, a gaming lounge with 25 of the latest machines and a drive thru bottle shop on site.

Been here plenty of times before and it is always amazing! Really disappointing to order a “Medium-Well” steak and it be less cooked than my partners “medium” steak. Came out seared on the outside and completely red/pink the whole way through the steak. Really disappointing and off putting to want to eat steak here again! Waitress was amazing. Another downside was our cocktails came out 2 minutes before our steak - wait time for a drink was way long.

Food was very good, but the cocktails was the worst ones we ever had. One glass was half full, the other one 3/4. The salt and coconut glass rim was gone and the glass was sticky everywhere. Service was also very poor, nobody was coming ans ask us for more drinks and other wishes.

Good convenient place to go to and glad to see that they have added back salad to the seniors fish and chips which I have commented on before

Everyone enjoyed their meals. My daughter said the warm vegetable salad was the best meal she had had in a long time!

I like going to the Baringa Tavern. The quiet corner I request suits me best and I then really enjoy my meal. Didn’t think much of the stir fry vege and vermicelli noodles. Too many noodles made the dish gluey. Not much flavour either. I had to ask for extra soy. Otherwise fine. I’ll be back.

We had a lunchtime get together and ate outside, I didn't realise it was so close to the corner and traffic, but it really wasn't a problem. The day was hot 33 degrees but we were in the shade and there was a nice breeze. The Staff were all excellent and went out of their way to make you feel special. They were very efficient also in both food and drinks. That's our second time there and you certainly didn't disappoint, we will be back. It was remiss of us, to not note the staff's names, but the young girl who took us to our table, although she looked like she was only 12, (to give a description) but I am sure she was older, as she had a mature reliability about her, and she was so friendly, and was there to clear plates and glasses efficiently. The chap who took our orders was remarkable and very accommodating. To describe him he had dark curly hair, very good looking and a friendly and witty. The lass who also looked after us and took our photos was very amenable, longish dark hair in a ponytail. I could not fault any of them. The food was well cooked and presented, and a salad, that wasn't just rabbit food.

Topping on parmas very average, size was good, staff were very friendly. Sat outside, not as noisy as inside. Great ambience outside.
