This was literally the worst dining experience I have ever had. Not one thing went right, and even if it was only the kitchen that was having problems, the service IN ADDITION was so staggeringly bad, the whole experience was misery.

Omelette and duck confit hash were unbelievably dry and the other person that also got it agreed. Liver butter was a bizarre-tasting experience (a sweet and savory mix that wasn't buttery at all) and the bread that came with it was wet and soggy. Hush puppies were good but had a weirdly sweet sauce. We were warned that the food would come out at different times because it was "family style" but not sure how an omelette or pancakes can be considered family style. One of our meals took 45 min to arrive and the rest of us were finished but they comped our orange juices.

Had high expectations as the reviews on Yelp were great. The ambiance was really cozy and nice, the menu looked very intriguing, except the very limited choice of wines (house wines only: a couple of reds and a couple of whites - literally). The staff is very friendly and nice! The disappointment came with the cut fried chicken we ordered: the crust was so burnt that we had to peel it off like a hard shell and dispose of it (very hard and dark brown, almost black but not just because it was blackened the Southern style) - impossible to eat. The organic chicken inside was little dry but still tasty. I had had fried chicken before (including in New Orleans) but it was usually juicy and the crust was not only edible but very tasty too. I thought it was just a one off miss by the chef but I saw on the next table people also leaving their plates full of hard, dark brown crust (fried chicken too...). When I mentioned the issue to the very friendly waitress she promised to bring this to the chef's attention. Any self-respecting chef would come out and talk to a customer with a legitimate concern (it was definitely not very busy): didn't happen here. Not sure I feel motivated to give them a second chance.

Their style of fried chicken is burnt and charred skin with little meat. The $5 side of fries is in a 5in plate and salty. I have no idea how they have high reviews on yelp. They are a pop up and really nice though. For the amt of food you get it is not a bad deal if you can eat it.

Not a restaurant. Waiters were helping out and didn't know menu at all.

Fantastic, creative food! Well prepared modern takes on Southern ingredients. Leisurely, but not unattentive service. There was only one cocktail option which seemed odd at brunch but otherwise fantastic. I'll be back!

Though a little pricey, excellent service and the food was outstanding. Blueberry Pancakes were some of the best I ever tasted. The lobster omelette was perfectly prepared. The lobster was tender and the eggs were fluffy and moist.
