BAR RITA- Fort Lauderdale
Loved having Sarah as our server, She was so much fun. Had a great time as always Allan’s look forward to coming back
Drinks are fabulous
Great place and awesome drinks. A must try if you love guacamole, will go back again
Excelente comida y ambiente
Everything was exceptional, so the only reason I didn't give 5 stars was the latino/hispanic/spanish music all night, I prefer a mixture of cultures. Other than that perfect. And regardless of the music, I will go back.
I went to Taco Tuesday for dinner the week of the 4th of July. It was surprisingly slow. The tacos were delicious and $3/taco. The only drink special was for tequila shots. The rest of the drinks were typical price range for South Florida. I would definitely go back for the food alone.
Our first visit. We started out with drinks up stairs @7:15 on a Monday and it was so loud we could not have a conversation. We ate down stairs where my order came out wrong and the music was also so loud we could not carry on a conversation. The service friendly and the fajitas mediocre. The margaritas were great.
Food was great can’t complain, just wish we had quicker service thats all!
Get the truffle corn guacamole and the carne asada fries!
We love the food and restaurant, but the service was not the best this time around.
Great place for drinks. Food not so great. I’ve had better tacos elsewhere. The food at Tap42 is way better, so I was surprised.
Nice place and vibe. Kinda pricey for Mexican food. Marquaritas were on the weak side.
Food was very average. Nothing special. Place was empty. Server wasn’t the most gracious. Beautiful decor though.
Went for Father’s Day 🤘🏼
there were some people fighting and staff took forever to call the police .. was scary to think that they move the fight to the front of the building and to think that at any time they can come back with guns or who knows was scary.
Our first time at Bar Rita and We WILL return. Great food, great experience!
This was my second time at Bar Rita and while I loved the food and experience the first time, I didn't feel the same the second time. For one thing, someone had a heavy hand for salt on all of the food we ordered. There were a lot of open tables, but the music downstairs is so loud, that we had to talk over it. I think if they turned it down inside the restaurant, it would be nice.
The bright spot was our server, she was attentive, efficient and friendly.
Had a quick meet up with friends as we were in the area and grabbed a late lunch. It was a rainy day but the music and the outdoor seating was chill. The fajitas were delicious 😋 (no pic)
A great place for margaritas! A different vibe yet cool enough to relax and have some great drinks !
Great vibe, food, drink, and top notch service. Corn Guacamole is a must get.
Food is great. The service was quite slow, maybe under staffed? It was very hot inside as well. The ambiance is amazing. Will definitely return at least once more hoping service improves.
Food & drinks are good! Hostess wouldn’t let me sit upstairs for some reason. On a holiday she lied & said it was too crowded upstairs.
For around $13, all you get are 2 MINI soft tacos and a pile of shredded slop called green goddess salad! VERY disappointed!
This place is awesome! The rooftop view is great, the music was on point and the food delicious! The truffle corn guac is a must try! Our waitress was super friendly and very professional. We will definitively go back!
Server was amazing and food on point! Deliciousness overall!
perfect for happy hour. not for a regular dinner. guac was good. disappointed with the flour tortilla. more authentic mexican restaurants at least ask if you prefer corn or flower. overall okay for a quick bite.
This place was AMAZING!!! Our server Alexina was absolutely fantastic - next time I’m in town I will be coming for sure!!!
A little on the expensive side, but the food was good and the restaurant had a very nice ambiance and decor. Seemed like a good hangout spot in Fort Lauderdale. The guac and street corn appetizer was delicious. I would go here again.
Love the food and the atmosphere. It was a great dining experience.
As usual it was AMAZING! Our waiter Sean is the BEST. He always is spot in and has a great attitude.
Thank You Sean....
SCOTT, BILL ,ANTHONY AND FRANK ! LOL.
Thank you for building this place! I absolutely love it here. Every dish that I have tried has been absolutely delicious! The guacamole with the roasted corn, I could eat all day! I appreciate the quality of your ingredients and presentation. I can't stop there....the margaritas are phenomenal and the bartenders that make them are super nice! Thank you again! Bar Rita is my new favorite place!!!
I was upset that my table was given away in front of me and my guests and the host did not even fight for us!!!!! Was VERY DISAPPOINTED! I have worked in the food and beverage industry; I would have made sure my guests were taken care of and kicked out the party that stole MY TABLE FOR MY HUSBANDS BIRTHDAY DINNER! I should have gotten free drinks for the inconvenience
Food, drinks and environment were great, staff seemed a bit overwhelmed, drink orders misplaced or not arrived and food timing was off. Definitely will return for a second time
Wonderful atmosphere, drinks, food and staff. Love this place
Our first time here, glad we finally got to try it! I made a 7:45 reservation but came early (7:15pm) to have a drink with friends first. Most of the tables outside were empty so I was surprised when they told me my reservation was made for inside (not by me) and that the tables outside were reserved for 8pm reservations. They ended up accommodating which was nice. Ambience is fun, food is good. We got the truffle street corn guac- delish! My marg was OKAY, did not taste very fresh, would try a different one next time.
Disappointed in the aftertaste of the Traditional Margarita. When ordering, I asked the server if they used fresh lime juice or a mix and she said they use lime juice. What she did not tell me until I said something again, was that they used PREPARED lime juice from a bottle; NOT fresh lime juice. Big difference. Rather than waste it, I added a shot of Grand Marnier (at an upcharge). The traditional guac was good, though I think they should have served more than the small amount they did for the price. The grilled fish tacos were good; however the salad that was served with it (my friend and I try to order healthy when we go out) was too SALTY to eat; and that was without dressing. Not sure if it was the cheese they had on top or if they just salted the whole thing.
Noise level beyond.... couldn’t properly converse unless we were screaming. Voice was hoarse at end of evening. Service was scarce. Food very good. Had to wait a long time for bill. Overall - won’t return or recommend unless noise level is reduced. And service is improved. Service need to be more in tune with patrons.
Great place to watch sunset, sit outside or in. The interior is quite pretty and that is where we sat opting for comfy chairs and A/C. Upstairs has a great sunset view and downstairs outside is relaxed and fun. Good food & great service. Out waiter felt our main course took too long so the GM sent us a round of drinks. Can’t remember the last time that happened unprovoked! And the drinks were quite tasty! Classy! We really enjoyed it!
Nice place , excelent service but poor mexican food. Margaritas should be made with fresh lime . I returned mine.
