Always outstanding food and service!

Consistently great food & service! One of my favorite spots!!

The meal, as always, was excellent. There were very few diners due to Covid. It remains my favorite restaurant.

We had 730 reservations and we arrived on time we were told there was a wait after 15 minutes we were seated at a table by the door. It’s cold out, meanwhile people that came in after us were promptly seated at a booth and waited on, we had to flag dow the hostess to get a waitress, we almost just got ready to leave.

Waitress was attentive once we were seated for a while. I would have liked quicker service to get the appetizers and drinks while we decided on our menu choices. My food was mediocre at best. Each other restaurant describes my meal as Ahi Tuna. Banks has it as One Eye Tuna on their menu. I thought I was trying something different. Many other restaurants represent the dish better.
My three dining companions were extremely happy with their meals.
$100+ per person after tip. Includes one bottle of wine.

The food was delicious from appetizer to desserts. We felt very taken care of and comfortable! What a wonderful lunch date. Chef Banks puts all of his passion into his food and you can taste it with each bite.

Food was good. Had some fish dishes and oysters. Would like to know how the other dishes were.

Restaurant was very quiet due to the limited number of customers. Would recommend for any occasion.

Really bad service took for ever for everything.

Birthday lunch, we sat out on the open patio facing river, lovely and the food and service were great!!

Exceptional service from the moment we walked in, add to that superb cuisine and a wonderful ambience. That sums up our first experience at Banks’ Seafood kitchen. They have a generous product offering and it’s prepared excellently. I recommend their lobster mashed potatoes, they are out of this world!!

Food was good, but pricey. The seafood nachos were massive and yummy. We had wonderful service.

The food was amazing and the service was impeccable. The only downfall is that they were cleaning the floor while we were eating.

Superior seafood, great cocktails in a beautiful building. A great find, we will be back!

Christmas Eve! Wonderful food and service!

Oyster Pan Roast - low on flavor; the oysters in the broth were the only clue that is was oyster preparation.
New England Clam Chowder - hard to tell it was clam chowder; bacon was the predominate flavor; mostly potatoes.
Bronzino and Rock Fish entrees were excellent; fresh and prepared impeccably.
Toasted Garlic New Potatoes - not sure what toasted means; boiled potatoes sprinkled with dehydrated, minced garlic.
Apple Crisp under cooked; topping was soggy and the apples were not softened as you would expect in a pie.
Truffles offered to new (and last time customers) are excellent.

First time back since COVID and it was a really nice evening. Will be back soon!

Had a delicious lunch this week at Banks. Their side dish, brussel sprouts with maple bacon butter, is the bomb. Waitress was very good. She knew all about the different menu items and was attentive. Informed me that Banks also has "to go" items from the Commisary. I have ordered and am looking forward to enjoying in my own home. Will also be happy to go back at any time.

Same great menu and service despite the challenges of Covid. They did a wonderful job with social distance.

Everything about it was awesome! Food was outstanding

I love this restaurant. The food was terrific. The server was really good and the bartender made delicious drinks.

It was a delicious meal, fresh seafood, knowledgeable staff.

Soups were cold. Service not up to previous visits. Not crowded so no excuses. Cioppino expensive but light on quantity of shellfish. I don’t think I will return

Clams casino was out of this world. Overall, food was great. Just didn’t like that everything was a la carte, didn’t even get a salad and no sides included.

Food was delicious. Seafood was fresh, we had Scallops, Grouper and Trout. Wonderful as usual.

Banks has a great location with great food served by great people.

Great experience! Social distancing wasn’t an issue. Staff was very attentive & the food fabulous!!

Overpriced, overcooked, over salted. They did abide by Covid precautions, but overall disappointing.

Banks is hands down our favorite dining spot in the Wilmington area The patio along side of the riverwalk is now enclosed in plastic and has several heaters making it warm enough to enjoy in this chilly weather.
As per always the food was superb- the best fried calamari in Wilmington, excellent grilled black bass from Maryland, outstanding large, fresh and tender oysters and clams on the half shell, perfectly grilled blackened scallops.
The service is wonderful, attentive and there when needed

Unfortunately the food has gone down hill. The portions are small and the preparation and flavors do not mesh. This could be because of COVID and lack of funds to keep the restaurant run properly. It’s is a shame for all of the restaurants.

Outstanding service as always! We had the Blue Point oysters that were freshly shucked , perfectly chilled! They are so tasty and my favorite. We also had the revised ahi tuna crisps that are now spicy that were amazing! Banks never disappoints

Food was tasteless, lobster was mushy in some parts and not very flavorful I asked the waiter when placing the order to clarify the menu items so I could know what comes with the entrée.

When I asked him to clarify an item, he stated that it was just a sauce so I ordered a side dish thinking I needed a vegetable, to my surprise my entrée came with a vegetable and I ended up paying for additional items. I wish the server had been more knowledgeable about the menu items.

I was disappointed with the food. I have been here many times and expect to spend above average for food here. I didn’t feel it was worth it this time.
