The overall experience was nice except for that one waiter with a very odd passive-aggressive behaviour. Food was great! We specifically enjoyed the ox tail Spring rolls.

Loved everything about Bang. Food was amazing except for the prawn dishes. The prawns just weren’t easy to eat or cooked well.

Went with regular Sunday Lunch buddies, great selection of very tasty and interesting plates along with a well priced wine list and great service in this newest of hotel eateries. Will be back.

What can I say but the food was amazing! Our waitress was friendly, engaging and professional. The ambience and decor enpointe. So we had a good night. The only glitch was not receiving our wine (we’d had a beer & cocktail prior) by the time our main had been eaten so order was cancelled. Favourite dishes - the duck curry, the blue swimmer crab donuts and the dumplings. Will be back!!!

Bang did not disappoint! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the stunning interior, which sets a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious, showcasing a wonderful blend of flavors that left me wanting more. For a restaurant that just opened, the service was surprisingly good—attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and can't wait to return! Highly recommend checking it out!

Only Day 8, but was outstanding. Food, drinks, service and venue are awesome, even for Melbourne. Will be the coolest place in town in no time.

Very tentative staff considering it’s only been open five days. Food was exceptional. We ended up ordering the ribs and eggplant again because it was so good.!! Also, they cocktail game is amazing. Will definitely be back.

Dining at Bang Restaurant in the Standard X Hotel was memorable. We had such a great evening enjoying all the delicious food, creative cocktails, lovely music, and being taken care of by the amazing staff. They were very attentive and friendly and helped us understand our dinner's various dishes. It was an enjoyable evening that will never be forgotten. It was so good that I returned for the second time this week with neighbours. It's great living on Rose Street near the Standard X. Remember to check out the exquisite gift shop -- we picked up the most incredible coasters. I loved the wonderful experience and it's great knowing it's so close to home.
