Reminiscent of Paris' bustling bistros, Bagatelle brings you the tastes of southern France and the entire Mediterranean region. Selected with care by executive chef Dale Osborne, Bagatelle London’s innovative menu combines French Mediterranean cuisine with local ingredients and taste that takes customers to the heart of Bagatelle’s culinary identity.
Bagatelle’s world famous brunch parties take place every weekend, introducing the typical “joie de verve” sensation of the French Riviera to the heart of London.
Good food, rushed off the table. Very loud and lively.
I was a fantastic but I believe unfortunately the table reservation was only for 2 hours.
We loved it! The food, service and ambiance was perfect! We had a great time🥳
Good place for party .. good place for date night and good place for lunch or dinner
The atmosphere was good, the service was excellent! But the food horrible and over priced!
Great fun! Good food and ambience. After 9pm
a DJ plays music and it gets livelier - little cheesy at times with waiters waving lamps and giving out sombreros but it’s fun nonetheless- good birthday venue - planning to go back with girl friends :) waiters couldn’t be lovelier and more attentive...food was excellent!
The place is not worth the price - overpriced food, ‘specials’ particularly are charged at crazy prices and are not displayed in the menu (£110 for a main, £50 for a starter).
Would not recommend.
Waited 50 mins for the table and still didn’t get it!!
Very nice place but I’m really upset about the fact that I paid for white truffle pasta instead I had black truffle and when you ask the waiter he told me that it was the kind of the same price. Sorry but paying £50 for white truffle i will but black truffle not really...
Instead of that we had a nice service, I really enjoyed the music cause I’m from France the only things that I’m disappointed it’s about the pasta.
I will not come back for sure!!
Our table was booked for 19:30 so we arrived at 19.10 to have a drink at the bar first but were told we couldn’t enter the restaurant until 19.30 when it opened. So we had to stand outside in the cold, surrounded by members of their staff smoking, my husband moaned and they let us stand in the entrance. I expect better than that for a Mayfair restaurant. I won’t be going back
No dj at the restaurant suddenly
Food and service by the waiters was so good, what ruined the experience was being told aggressively by the doorman that we had to leave after the lunch sitting. We had just bought a bottle of wine and weren't told it was last orders or that we would only have 10 mins before being 'chucked' out. When we told the doorman politely that we just ordered and paid for this bottle his response was 'I dont care, you have to leave.'
Actually in shock about how rude he was, especially at a high end establishment. I've been to other Bagatelle restaurants and the service has been amazing, I would steer clear of the London one, it's not the same experience at all! Such a disappointment!
The waiters are disgusting and they scream at you when you are just trying to have a nice meal and they also drink on the job. one waiter with tattoos especially was being very disrespectful towards the customers. Service unacceptable, would not recommend it to anyone.
Restaurant or night club? Music too loud. Food average & over priced. Avoid !
Not worth the value for money
It was great and the staff were very friendly.
Mr Luc at bagatelle took good care of us and amazing service and food , the bagatelle parades were amazing , I’ll surely be back soon
Dissapointing. Not formal at all.
It always a joy the food was gorgeous and team were brilliant!
Steak was amazing glad we picked this venue for our evening dinner.
Absolutely fantastic service. The burrata and truffle was phenomenal. Will definitely be back.
Encantador equipo y muy atentos. Ambiente animado con buena música.
Tom and paco was the beeeest thaanks a million to them
it was so loud our server couldn't hear us ordering, as a result all of our drinks were incorrect...every time. He was very nice, but a native french speaker and with the insane noise level he was facing an impossible task in getting our orders taken. We love a good party, but bagatelle is more club than restaurant. The food was so outrageously overpriced it actually made us laugh, the fact that it was mediocre made it even more comical.
Lovely staff, great food and fab experience!
Outstanding service, great food and amazing ambiance, love this place and can’t wait to go back!
Experience was AWFUL!!! They sat us downstairs in the lounge area not in restaurant, people kept putting their drinks on our dinner table, there was no light to see our food, we could not talk from the how loud the songs were. The hostess was not accommodating at all I told her i was waiting 3 weeks to have dinner here and i had no trouble waiting for a table but refused to let us wait making it seem like if we didn’t sit in the worst table in the house we weren’t eating even though a couple came in before us and were told to wait if they wanted a table. I was going to book here for my birthday dinner in a few weeks but noway would i come here again. Service was awful from the door to the table and the food was mediocre. The restaurant is only as good as its service would NOT recommend!!! Cannot be compared at all to the branch in Dubai.
Disappointing. I do a lot of fine dinning in London
The starter was crab with spaghetti. No sign of any crab
I always spend at least £400 for dinner . It’s not a restaurant I would return too unfortunately.
Great service, good cocktails, average food, at a high price point. If you're paying Michelin Star rates, you are expecting good quality food!
We order the signature Bagatelle Sunday (which didn't appear on the menu) in exchange for returning some very dry and bread-y pancakes, only to be charged a cool £60 for a few scoops of ice cream on a bed of mini-marshmallows, topped with oodles of whipped cream (and a sparkler). Please make sure you clarify to the staff that the order is in exchange for a low quality food item on their menu !
On the positive, the staff was great and energetic and tried to energise the room.
Very good service and the Waguy beef was amazing. Overall very nice
Too rushed to get us off the table. Next time would like to enjoy the meal without having to be ushered out.
Bagatelle is a place for party and overpriced drinks. Food was good but the cheapest bottle of wine on the menu is £70, with an actual retail price of about £6-7. Way overpriced for what it is. Service was less than good - we booked a London Restaurant Festival menu and had to fight for it, as the waitress was trying to convince us that the offer isn't available on the day. She did that with quite an attitude, which set a tone to our evening. I had to go online to the Opentable website and show the restaurant manager what was being advertised. As the evening developed, it got busier around 8.30pm with music getting louder. We left at 10pm or so and the party was starting, which seemed quite fun. If you are looking for a glam party, I guess it's a good place to be but food/drinks are way overpriced for what they are. Be prepared for service targeted toward making people spend money rather than enjoy their culinary experience.
Thanks for accomodate all my requests Margarita, you made my date special and unique. Definitely going back to dine at Bagatelle. Excellent costumer service, good food, amazing staff on the floor.
Food was served cold. I don’t believe we got our money’s worth. Desert was very good though.
Rude staff, no respect from employees at all. Will never be going myself or recommend to anyone else.
We had so much fun! Set menu was great value for money!!!
Great atmosphere, the service was outstanding and the food was good quality. Overall I would recommend.
I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner at bagatelle. The staff were really welcoming and attentive to your needs. Enquiring about your needs without overwhelming. Luc was really hospitable. The food was a delight! We ordered the Lobster linguini to share and portion was huuggee for 2 people. We couldn't finish it! But it was delicious, yum! I'd definitely go back again and recommend the restaurant!
