Bababoi Kitchen & Bar
Bababoi, the word derived from Baba Nyonya and that explain the origin of the cuisine. Nyonya food is the very early stage of fusion style cuisine, with distinctive blend of Chinese and Malay tastes.
Using Chinese cooking techniques with indigenous ingredients, the character of the cuisine is intensively rich and gutsy, and accented with tangy, pungent and sour flavors.
Tasty food at fair prices! We had a group booking of 10ppl where we provided them with a pre-order list, the food came out quickly and the food portions generous served by their attentive & friendly staff. Would definitely recommend this venue for groups and individual seatings.
I almost choked on a bone! The food was minimal and tasteless. And that's the way it goes.
The quality of food is very good and price is reasonable at Dockland. This is a right place for friend's gathering and dinner.
The meal was great and the food was authenic malaysian cuisine. Some less obvious options on the menu was would really suit people looking for a range of malaysian food. There were a few twists on malaysian tastes but overall a good, authenic experience
Love this place, food is beautiful and not expensive, close to work. Staff are friendly. Louise
Quite happy to find out that there is a Malaysian restaurant around the Docklands area. Missus and I visited the joint for dinner. The service was good as the waiter was attentive and friendly. Also, I like the lay back ambience. The food was unique and nice. We ordered roti and lobak as a starter. Then, the black chicken stew and beef rendang as main. We enjoyed it. In short, we have a good dining experience.
Apart from the average food quality, the overall experience was below expectation. staff members were friendly however lack adequate waitress skills .
