Review summary

AI-generated from verified diner reviews
Azara Atlanta offers a stunning rooftop view and "delicious" food, though some patrons find service inconsistent and the noise from nearby venues overwhelming. The restaurant's ambiance is charming, and while the menu can be limited at times, the staff's warmth is often appreciated. Improvements in service speed and clarity would enhance overall experiences.

The menu did not match what was on the website. The food was average. The server was very nice. Nice views from the rooftop.

The restaraunt has a nice vibe overall, but in order to get to the bathroom you have to walk through an area that looks like it has been abandoned. We had a hummus trio platter that was delicious, but my main course a cauliflower dish, was really awful. The description sounded great but it was partially fried (thought it would be baked as they sort of portrayed their food as healthy) and had very poor flavor. We sat outside and it was getting dark, but no one could figure out how to turn on the lights.

We checked the website, made a reservation from the link on their website, took an uber to the restaurant. It was closed. The waitress from the restaurant next door (that was open) says this happens frequently and they seem to be open ‘at really random times’.

We reserved a rooftop table for the nice view of the beltline; however, there is only a tapas and drinks menu on the rooftop, and we were not allowed to order a meal from the downstairs full menu. Our waitress was nice, but service was slow, and food and drinks were not impressive.

The food was incredible. However, I made reservations for a quiet anniversary dinner and was not notified that they were having a rave in the restaurant. We showed up; it was extremely loud. I assumed it was coming from a different building. however, it was coming from the restaurant where we needed to eat. We should’ve just left with the loudness, but we wanted to try a new vegetarian restaurant..We sat outside to try to avoid the sound we still had to move twice because the sound was so loud it was hurting our heads. The food was delicious. It was incredible food and I would go back for the food again. however not for the noise. I can’t image anyone enjoying how loud that was. When we finally left, you could hear the music 1000 feet from the place We should’ve been notified in the reservation that they were having a rave if we made a reservation for dinner. Also we were a party of two and had a forced service fee on top of the expensive food of 20% but we’re not told that. Had I not been looking to try and figure out why the food was so very expensive, I would not have known $26 was added just in tip for a meal that we couldn’t even stand to stay at. We were at the restaurant for less than an hour and had to get our main courses boxed up out of environmental stress of the extremely loud noise.

The Good: Stunning ambiance, a fantastic rooftop, and an incredibly warm, accommodating staff. The Bad: The tapas completely lack flavor, and the drinks are watered down ....a major blow for a prime social spot. The Verdict: The identity feels lost. They have the whole city at their doorstep but don't know how to leverage it. To survive, they must revamp the menu with bold flavors, fix the bar program, and give BeltLine foot traffic a real reason to stay. I wish them well, give me a reason to return good luck.

Service was absolutely terrible and we were the only table in the restaurant when they opened. It took 20 minutes to get 2 mixed drinks and a beer, again we were the only table in the restaurant. Luckily we only ordered appetizers, no entrees yet. The appetizers were flavorful. When we got the bill, they charged $2 for ice in a bourbon. They charged $7 for an Orange Juice and $8 for a Dos Equis. The waiter included 18% gratuity on a table of 5 people. I haven’t had service that horrible in a long time. It’s unfortunate because the restaurant has potential to be better but I would never go back

We were so disappointed! We are here in April and it was wonderful. Today We came with our children and 2 yo grandson to celebrate my birthday. We reserved at 5:30 to accommodate a toddler. The reservation request we out I. Said 4 people plus high chair. When we arrived, the hostess said “we do not have high chairs”. We should have been notified in advance. Food and drinks came out scattershot and very slowly. Soup came out without spoons. Dessert (1 piece of cake) took 20 minutes to come out. We are not coming back
