I love Aunty Jack’s. I come here regularly, sometimes for lunch, sometimes for coffee and often for dinner. Being vegetarian I like that there are a few options other than just chips, the zucchini burger is one I rarely can go past!

Excellent coffee, delicious food, good vibes and music, very friendly staff - everything you could want. The decor makes each visit feel like a trip down memory lane, with little homely touches all around.
Aunty Jack’s is good for all types, for large groups, small groups, families, dates or even a little self date!

My husband, friends and I have brought board games a couple of times to enjoy after our meal, and if you forget to bring your own they have a few options there for you.

I highly recommend Aunty Jack’s.

Excellent service and ambiance. Unfortunately my friend's pork dish was a little dry, the staff was apologetic and brought us gravy and presented us with a free glass of the red wine we had ordered.

The warm up band wasn't to our taste or the food.felt there could have been a few more healthy options. There was a good choice of drinks snd my cocktail was delicious all but a bit pricy.

What a funky place! Wonderful friendly staff who go the extra mile (my 12 yo still talks about the unicorn spider with the umbrella she asked for & the extra gift of a peacock decoration - was the highlight of her weekend). Food & drinks were delicious and delivered with a smile without delay.

The cocktails were expensive and small.
I had the meat and 3veg it was good tasty and filling. My son got the beef rib and thought it didn’t have much flavour and was small. My husbands burger was great. We were recommended to go, but we won’t be recommending the restaurant.

Aunty Jack’s is an absolute treasure and we’ll be making it a must visit everytime we’re in the Blue Mountains.

Great family friendly food which satisfied both the grown ups and the kids with the most amazing ice cream spiders ever invented.

Lovely friendly staff as well as loads to look at and be entertained by with the retro decor.

Fab fun filled time had by all & we can’t wait for our next visit!

We were there winter school holidays and they were very accommodating to find suitable seats for my hubby and I and 2 young boys. Food took a long while to come. My short ribs were very dry I couldn’t swallow them and when I asked for some extra pan juices they charged us an extra $2.50 for a pot of gravy. The sticky date was $15 and said it takes 15 mins but it came out very quickly and was disappointing as was the Eton mess which was soggy meringue, more like marshmallow.
Other food was ok. Cocktails were lovely and overall the atmosphere was fantastic. We would go again as I imagine the food would be better when they are not so busy.

We have eaten at Aunty Jack's a few times now and are never disappointed. Casual dining, very friendly service, great cocktails, simple menu, great beers and tidy wine list. The fit out is quirky, retro/Nanna's house with comfy booths and live music on occasion. Very relaxed environment, great for a fun lunch or night out.

The team at Aunty Jack's really care about every customer having a great experience. They took the time to chat to us about how we liked our cocktails, for example, and overall the service is friendly and sincere but not intrusive. Having later hours in Katoomba is also a great point of difference. Highly recommended!

"Just what we wanted" - Aunty Jacks has really friendly staff and a good solid menu. The food was just what we needed after attending an opening at the Cultural Centre in Katoomba. Quite literally across the road and a great place to keep the night going ... at least for a while.

The food was dreadful, the kitchen forgot our order. When it finally arrived the meat was so chewy it was inedible and the carrots were floating in a pool of maple syrup (I think, may have been honey), burger buns were burnt and the zucchini burger was a mass of green slime that slid out of the burgess when I picked it up and onto my plate. The$16 cider cocktail was cider with cream and horrible. We left most of the food, the bill for burgers, chips and silverside was a ridiculous $180 for food that was reminiscent of a very, very bad 1980's RSL. Had to get fish and chips on the way home. Service from young waitress sullen and young man very confused, taking our order to several different tables before it came back to us. Will not return

Had a great experience eating at Aunty Jack's for the first time. It was our mates birthday and we were a large group but the staff were great at serving all of us, especially with handling some allergies and changing the veil/beef burger up a bit so I could still enjoy it: It was pretty damn good.
