Had a fabulous night at Aunty Jacks. I loved the atmosphere and the music was wonderful. Great food and adult beverages was a big plus!
We love Aunty Jacks for a family meal out. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the food and drinks are delicious and there’s a great atmosphere. It was also really nice to listen to some live music on Sunday night.
We eat here once a week for a date night. We have never had a disappointing meal or drink, and service is always top notch. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone.
This is a great hidden gem! I loved everything about Aunty Jacks! The food is amazing, service is friendly and the atmosphere fantastic!
Live entertainment was brilliant!
Great service, excellent food, fantastic ambience and a wide variety of beer and wine
We have eaten at Aunty Jack's a few times now and are never disappointed. Casual dining, very friendly service, great cocktails, simple menu, great beers and tidy wine list. The fit out is quirky, retro/Nanna's house with comfy booths and live music on occasion. Very relaxed environment, great for a fun lunch or night out.
The team at Aunty Jack's really care about every customer having a great experience. They took the time to chat to us about how we liked our cocktails, for example, and overall the service is friendly and sincere but not intrusive. Having later hours in Katoomba is also a great point of difference. Highly recommended!
The food exceeded expectations, the staff were friendly. I'd come here again just for the cocktails!
"Just what we wanted" - Aunty Jacks has really friendly staff and a good solid menu. The food was just what we needed after attending an opening at the Cultural Centre in Katoomba. Quite literally across the road and a great place to keep the night going ... at least for a while.
Absolutely wonderful staff, and has a brilliant atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.
Honestly love the place, have been there heaps. I just think the portions should be bigger for what we are paying x
Great place to have dinner/Lunch, menu offers some good choices.
The food was very good been a couple of times now and will return.
The layout and furnishings are one of a kind and makes for a good atmosphere.(old school arcade games bought back some memories)
All the staff where very helpful and friendly.
The food was dreadful, the kitchen forgot our order. When it finally arrived the meat was so chewy it was inedible and the carrots were floating in a pool of maple syrup (I think, may have been honey), burger buns were burnt and the zucchini burger was a mass of green slime that slid out of the burgess when I picked it up and onto my plate. The$16 cider cocktail was cider with cream and horrible. We left most of the food, the bill for burgers, chips and silverside was a ridiculous $180 for food that was reminiscent of a very, very bad 1980's RSL. Had to get fish and chips on the way home. Service from young waitress sullen and young man very confused, taking our order to several different tables before it came back to us. Will not return
Had a great experience eating at Aunty Jack's for the first time. It was our mates birthday and we were a large group but the staff were great at serving all of us, especially with handling some allergies and changing the veil/beef burger up a bit so I could still enjoy it: It was pretty damn good.
We booked for a special occasion ❤️ set menu the food was fantastic the theme was well done . the cocktails where very well made and a great selection 🍹🍸very clean and well presented dinning room great staff
Aunty Jacks is a very comfortable restaurant with awesome booths and funky decor. The food is great, we especially loved the fries with bacon bits and gravy and the meat loaf burger is soooooo tasty! Well done guys!
Unique menu.. friendly staff.. wonderful atmosphere
Really great food and the service was excellent too. Nice layout and ambience. Only criticism was a lack of vegetarian options. Nice cocktails
