We showed up during a snowstorm in the off season, and the staff were so welcoming, food was terrific and service perfect! They will see us again soon I am sure.

Excellent restaurant, un bel endroit, un accueil chaleureux et des plats excellents. Seul bémol, nous avons eu un peu froid lors de la soirée.

Food took forever to arrive....its was a busy nite ( Valentine's Day), but they had plenty of staff....we were basically ignored while the waitress was very generous with her time with almost all the other clients at their tables.....the waiter who was finally assigned to us was ok....but always late with our service, our food was lukewarm at best (because it took so long to serve us, for some reason), he never cam to make sure our wine was served after he opened the bottle and when we asked for the bill, he essentially shoved under my face on the table ( I happened to be on my phone) and said " Here!"

We will not go back again.....the charm and ambiance of the old place has been lost with the new owners. I appreciate all the time and money they have put into the restoration of the Grand Dame of Inns in this part of the world, but we did not feel welcome or attended too....especially for $100/person!

The Rourke duo were amazing! Great atmosphere! Great musicianship.

As usual, this is the place to go when you want a meal that is not a computerized recipe! Absolutely delicious. I had the deer and my husband had the cod and both dishes were to die for!

Really cozy dining room, food was great, attentively planned and prepared, very professional but friendly wait staff. We have been to Willow several times under different owners and are glad to keep returning.

My wife and I went for supper for our joint birthdays. We sat near the fireplace. It was nicely decorated for Christmas. We had made a reservation since it was close to the holidays but it wasn't busy since it was mid week. The food and service was great. We would eat there again.

Our waitress Crystal made it perfect with her recommendation, her friendly attitude, and her efficient service.
In May, 2014 I had reserved the complete Auberge for a family party. It was perfect. I have been back many times since, especially for Sunday lunches on the patio.
Very happy the Willows is as popular as ever.

I got the fish special. The fish was a bit dry but other than that the meal was excellent!

We very much enjoyed our lunch there. We sat by the fireplace, enjoyed the view of Lake of Two Mountains, the food and service were both very good. My only caution would be that it's quite expensive -- our lunch for two, with one glass of wine and one beer, and no dessert, was $83.

The ambiance was beautiful! Such a beautiful place! The food and service, however, was mediocre. Our server was not very knowledgeable about the menu items and service was very slow. The menu itself is fine, and although I very much support farm to table, the prices are high for what it is. The flavours just weren’t there to justify the price. Nothing wowed us.
NOTE: Cheecake is typical not a small ramaken sized cheese MOUSSE. When we asked about it, the server neglected to mention that, as well as it’s not a sharing size.
It was our first visit under the new administration and we left disappointed.

Le bruit était vraiment trop fort, et l'acceuil de la réceptioniste très froid, en entant dans un endroit si magnifique, nous aurions aimé un acceuil plus chaleureux.

The service is excellent, the personnel is very professional and friendly. The food is really good, the place has a beautiful view and is very pleasant.

My second visit in two weeks! Again, the views from the dining room were spectacular, and the service was impeccable. I booked my reservation on line, and had said we were celebrating a special birthday, so I requested a slice of cake or similar with a candle in the special comments whilst reserving. Unfortunately, it never arrived, and I didn't have a chance to check with the waiter to verify. Sort of disappointing.! Nevertheless, I didnt want to make a fuss over a candle. !! However, the food was excellent again, and this time I tried the fish cakes with a Willow salad, both yummy. For dessert I ordered the apple crumble with flaky pastry underneath. It was amazing, and I thoroughly enjoyed it all. One glass of wine only; it was tasty, but it needed to breathe for awhile, then, it was great! The waiters were attentive and polite, and we had a very nice lunch, again. Thank you so much. My friend enjoyed her birthday lunch too!!!! See you soon.

Second time in a month that I ate at the Willow! Great as always. Mark is a wonderful server.

The location is wonderfu,l the service too, nothing to say about that.
I would make more generous portions.

Because of it's gorgeous lakeside location and the charm of the building itself, I would consider recommending it, but I would not recommend it for the food.

My wife & I were very happy with our visit. Our table location by the window overlooking the lake, the food & the waiter were all excellent plus the prices were a pleasant surprise. We have already recommended the restaurant to friends & we will certainly return.

Excellent service from our waiter (older gentleman, we sat on the dining room side because of the noise on the other side). I had the filet mignon which was very tender with a pricey caeser salad ($12.00) which was good. My husband had the special (ribs and chicken wings which were a bit dry) but overall we enjoyed our meal.We have dined here several times and would absolutely return or recommend this lovely place to our friends!

Would have appreciated knowing that our table was going to be in the pub area rather than the dining room. Booked on Open Table... perhaps that option could be specified online? (Dining room was reserved for a wedding party that night).

If you decide to go there to sit on the terrace because it’s a beautiful day, I suggest you get there early, when they open or later in the afternoon after the lunch crowd has gone. They don’t hold outdoor tables regardless of your reservation. It’s first come first served.

It was terribly noisy in the restaurant. The acoustics are terrible. Waitress was not knowledgeable at all on menu or drinks as we had guests with severe allergies. The prices were outrageous based on the portion of food I received. I had the duck confit and it was very dry and salty with (I kid you not) 5 pieces of tiny vegetables on the side for $27. Sad to say, I will not be returning. Preferred the old ambiance and menu way better to what they offer now.

J’ai toujours aimé cet endroit surtout à cause de la terrasse avec une vue exceptionnelle du lac. La nourriture est bonne le service courtois mais les prix un peu plus élevé qu’ailleurs.

We found that the service was a little bit slow but it was ok

It was my first visit since the renovations. Great location. Beautiful. My only negative is that the servers left the door leading to the terrace open for ease of service I guess and we were quite annoyed with all the flies inside. I would suggest installing a screen or swing door.
