Aubaine Brompton Road make THE best almond croissants in the world - ever!! You can even buy them frozen which is great for me as I love so far away!! Great service and fab coffee to, not to mention their delicious chocolate bread. Thank you Aubaine Sophie
The staff are very welcoming and the restaurant has gone to great lengths to ensure a safe visit. The food has been lovely both times we have gone, very tasty and good portion sizes.
The food was excellent. The service was attentive but slow. The room was very cold because the door was kept open.
I will definitively go back.
Lovely family brunch, we were truly welcomed which makes such a difference. We will be back !
The service was fantastic and very attentive. We had a lovely breakfast. The eggs florentine was very good.
A tasty lunch with attentive service. A limited but varied menu.
The food was tasty. The ambience seemed less warm than previously, probably because it was about 80% full. The Wagyu beef burger was lovely, however the menu seems reduced and I wasn't tempted by any of the starters on offer. We had 2 desserts between 4 of us (carrot and dark chocolate), and they were OK, but we weren't fighting over them.
They didn’t have a big choice on the menu.
The service was not so good.
Maybe should have the set menu available to see properly.
Also salmon starter had some parts that were not that edible!
Lovely ambience and lovely staff. Would go again and maybe have a different starter.
Lovely meal as always, waiting staff nice and attentive. Following Covid guidelines - so all good. Two course offer was very good.
Very impressed with the organisation, and indeed the food too. Fairly quiet which suited us.
Great friendly experience.
Had my 4 month old son with me and they were very accomodating.
I arrived from France 14 days before I went to Aubaine, which is a French restaurant. I invited 4 of my friends to this reataurant hoping they’d have a little taste of the highlight of my trip to France, which is French food. The breakfast we had was No Where close to the ones I had in France. My friends weren’t impressed at all. And... I had to return what I ordered because there was a piece of human hair on it.
The lovely lady who was serving us that morning was very kind though.
Lovely meal and good service. Would definitely return for a meal.
Its ok in general. The breakfast is small and “sad” for what you pay for.
nice food and atmosphere, a little disappointed the menu was different to the one on the website but still nice
Excellent food but clearly short staffed
Came to London for the day from South Wales. Very glad we booked Aubaine. Will definitely be returning.
First post-lockdown restaurant experience! Great to be in an almost-normal environment, with the gentle background buzz of people enjoying themselves. The food - sea bass on a bed of vegetables - was very good, light and delicious. And it was cooked by someone else! Very welcoming, friendly service.
Very good value, excellent food
I had a lovely service and I notice everything was kept very well cleaned and consistently sanitised which is great
A local South Kensington haunt good for brunch and breakfasts with a buzzing ambience. Locals get a.more attentive service.
It's early post-lockdown days, supporting our bars and restaurants is so important - we all want them to still be there when the new "normal" arrives, right? But there's an understandable trepidation and that's where Aubaine Brompton Cross have done brilliantly - they are warm, inviting and considerate hosts who couldn't have done more to ensure the eating out experience was still enjoyable. The limited menu had lots of tasty dishes on offer, the specials board was extensive and the Wagyu burger that I eventually decided on was simple, tasty and well presented. Thank you guys, I'll be back for more.
Terrible, visited London for the weekend, booked a table for 3:30 for brunch. Turned up and they did not offer the option for brunch or all day breakfast only a la carte. Waitress could not speak or understand English properly. Walked out. Will not be coming back again.
Great service as usual and very good brasserie food selection
Good spot for brunch - waiters very friendly and helpful
The food just wasn’t very good, especially for the cost. Porridge was cold and was sent back, but either way it was cheap quality. Avocado toast was uninspiring and cold.
Lovely food and decor in this restaurant. It is a good place to meet friends.
Very friendly, helpful service - manager was very accommodating about giving us a table in corner by window.

Service is becoming catastrophic.
On top of food going down.
Owner really needs to take back control

Food took half an hour to arrive at the table and then we got the wrong dishes. When the right dishes arrived they were cold.
Not a good experience

Everything was fine except that they made us wait 10-15 more minutes in the waiting list while we already booked for 9:30.
Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to review your experience at Aubaine; we really value your feedback. We’re so sorry you had to wait to be seated, but we’d love to see you again if you’ll give us another chance!
I came for brunch yesterday with work colleagues and clients and left feeling quite short-changed by the cost of the meal compared to what we actually received. My guests were generally content with the quality of their food but tbh the portion sizes were poor considering the cost of individual plates (between £10-£15). I ordered the Katsu Breakfast and to say it was a light snack would be an absolute understatement. I came away feeling hungry and would certainly look elsewhere the next time I book for brunch.
Thanks for your review, Craig. We’re so sorry that your visit to Aubaine wasn’t great. Your feedback means a lot to us and will be really useful in helping us to improve what we do in the future.
The music was a little loud for so early on a Friday morning

Very good food and service - but please do clean the toilets! They are very dirty with no toilet paper. Hope to come back soon and see this has improved.

Fantastic as always - would love the pancakes back in the menu though
Thanks, Renate! Yes, the pancakes are a fan favourite. Keep an eye out and visit us again - we never say never!
Aubaine is good for a relaxed atmosphere for dinner with friends without the need to dress up or be strictly formal. Good choices of food on the menu, we had sharing plates and regular courses all mixed in. Our waiter was very helpful regarding portion sizes and describing the food. I had the sharing plate of camembert all to myself as a main course. We weren't hurried along, it was a nice evening.

Excellent food, nice decor and very pleasant time there.

Stunning breakfast to kick off our Wedding Anniversary. I had the French breakfast and my wife had the eggs benedict. All served with some very tasty coffee.
As we were finishing the tray of pastries came out the oven and we simply could not resist - a perfect start to our day.
Hi there! Thank you so much for the fantastic review! We’re delighted that you enjoyed your meal with us and would love to welcome you back soon. Happy Anniversary!
