Atrium - Crown Perth Ratings and Reviews
Wonderful! The welcome was very professional and friendly. We were taken to our table by Rita, who made us feel very welcome and at ease. The staff were efficient and friendly, the service all that one could wish for. The food was delicious, our only complaint, the tummy proved not to be as big as the eye. That, of course, was a personal disappointment.
The restaurant was so quiet no music for customers to enjoy their food and not much food for peoples who are vegetarians ,the services was not so good a piles of dirty plates has been sitting on my tables for some times, waiters should more regularly around .
Sadly I was very disappointed on my recent visit to the Atrium. It has always been a family favourite especially to celebrate special occasions. The food has always been delicious with a great variety. This time I was very disappointed. Far too many dishes with seafood and meat casserole very tough. Fist three wine options we ordered weren't available and then then the bottle was just plonked on our table. On a good not our waiter for the evening was very pleasant and the roast beef was tender
While the food available was reasonable, it had a packaged/commercial feel to it all. Party pies and other hot foods that all seemed like they came out of a box. Looks for sweet dishes amazing, taste average. No cheese plate which would have been nice. Would have been very average for anyone who is gluten free.
Went to first sitting, early, as this sitting became very busy as time progressed.Service was excellent, Food was in abundence, with all tastes catered for. When we went to pay the bill we were met by a young lady called Resi who had stayed with us for about a year but had not seen for approximately two and a half years. She was very helpful. All in all a great evening out. Thank You Crown. We come to crown often for stays and meals and will keep coming back.
Overall, good, but a few areas for improvement. Good choices available that catered to a range of tastes. The pasta was rubbery and the pork in plum sauce was overcooked and rock hard. I went looking for mayo for the salad but found none. An impressive array of deserts, but it would have been good to have an indication of ingredients for those who are allergic.
Booked for my daughters 21st birthday. Was wanting it to be a special celebration was not told they needed there own crown card for bubbly & chocolates. The whole night was average. Service was average waited half an hour for a coke. Was not instructed what to do once seated. Customer service there is none. Very disappointed would not recommend The Atrium & would not find there again.
The Seafood / Salad bar was very good, as was the Desert Bar.
However whilst the food on offer at European Mains bar was an average 5 out of 10, I'm afraid that the standard of the food on offer at the Asian / Indian food bar was sub standard for the better part. The curry options were pretty much tasteless & the Shrimp Fried Rice tasted as though it had been burnt before being transferred to another Wok & sent out to the server.
For $75 / head I would have expected a little better.
Visited the Atrium many many times over the years and this will be our last visit - food very bland and tasteless area was very full and we were told 3 times that they would be closing starting at 1345 kitchen staff were collecting dirty plates, cutlery using white kitchen bowls not the best if you trying to enjoy a tasteless creme caramel, sorry we were so disappointed any way no more to be said
I like seafood and when I see the menu showing there is either mud crab or slipper lobster I was so excited but there wasn't any. I only get blue swimmer CRAWLS only. That is a big disappointment. I come here 2 month ago for lunch and there is soft shell crab and cost me only $49, but there is none tonight for $75!!! So sad! The soup is tasty but not piping hot moreover is tomyam soup! I totally cannot accept it! Other dish are fine, beef cheeks is very soft! Love that!
