Atrium - Crown Perth Ratings and Reviews
I had my baby shower at the Atrium on the 10/12/2017 and was highly disappointed. For $39 the food, the drinks and service was shocking, in order to get to the food you had to wait 15 minutes in line to actually get to it and once there it was “party pies and sausage rolls”. The cakes were the only highlight, but as for everything else it was awful to see that for such a big group of people that payed such a high amount of money that it was not at least satisfactory.
Prawns. Every time we have dined the prawns are the lowest and poorest quality Left defrosting in water present like bait prawns. The crab as usual in eatable tasteless this is totally unacceptable for a venue of this standing There is good produce available. The Quality control dept only needs to read previous reviews and inspect every service. The rest of the menu is excellent and value for money the staff are excellent and perform welll It is the seafood. That is a disgrace
The line to wait for our table was quite long but moved relatively quickly. Once inside the buffet was overcrowded and the mood of most patrons felt rushed. This rushed atmosphere made the $80 buffet feel more like a cheaper alternative to dining. The food was well stocked and fresh. Not till we were in the rest.for an hour were we offered drinks. We needed to request several times during the evening for our table to be cleared of dirty plates and made at least 1 request for water. No bill split!
very enjoyable but we both had to locate cutlery upon returning from selecting another plate of food. Towards the end of our meal it was not replaced when our empty plates were taken away. I had to ask a young man who had a trolley full of clean dishes and my husband just took a serviette which had cutlery rolled up in it as there was no one to ask.
I have been here several times usually for special occasions. I found the food and service this time was below the standard I expect in a lovely and well known casino/hotel such as this.
Some of the food was great and some was ho hum can get in restaurants at a far better price.
In all was disappointed in my visit and would need to be persuaded to visit again.
Fantastic variety of quality food. The only downside were the tables are very close together and there was a 75 minute booking limit on our booking. Whilst I understand the 2 sittings, and I am not one to over-eat, I found the time limit was rushed and did not allow time to leisurely sit and enjoy the food and to chat. Quality food and what should be a great location, but at a food hall timeframe!
Came to lunch for my girlfriends birthday. Was looking for an extravagant place to eat and the Atrium definitely lived up to what we were looking for. The food was delicious and there was a good variety to choose from. She loves desserts and the dessert bar was a highlight for her. The service from the staff was great, catering to all of our needs. Would recommend The Atrium to anyone looking for a great meal.
aking people stand in a long queue at the end of their dining experience lends a peasant aspect to the dining experience - please put a folder on the table containing the bill at a point roughly half an hour before kick-out and have one of your overworked waitstaff collect it.
The range of savoury foods was very limited and frequently ran out. A high tea with one type of sandwich? The kofta's in particular were very dry and almost inedible. A very good range of cakes though. Getting a second cup of coffee was virtually impossible. Other aspects of the service were good. I expected more from Crown.
A hair was found in our icecream. This put the whole table off the food straight away. When it was brought to the attention of the waiting staff she was very attentive however when the supervisor came over with the hair in the bag and said that all the staff wear hair nets and more or less that due to it being a buffet she was saying it was someone dining there. We didn't think until after she left that the icecream is actually served to you behind a counter by staff.
It was an pleasant experience with wide selection of food available. Table service was inconsistent from start to finish.
Tables to close together making assessiblity going to the buffet and returning to your seat hard when located at the higher section of the restaurant.
Food was not at a standard that was worth the Sunday night $75 value.
More variety for vegetarians and/or vegans is worth investing in.
There is always a great selection of foods and something to suit everyone’s taste. Some of the dishes are a bit hit and miss and the quality fluctuates.
The seafood is definitely the highlight of the meal however I wish they would cook the crab in salted water as it is always bland and loses its delicious flavour.
We have been here a couple of times before and as usual the whole dining experience was great!
This time, we treated my daughter for her 15th birthday and she was in awe of everything around her. She loved the food and couldn’t wait to get into the variety of desserts. I think she wished she got more fruits dipped in the chocolate fondue.
The cold selection of seafood is sooooo over cooked that they become inedible.
The crab legs were probably left boiling for at least half an hour too long, so not only are they like rubber, they are absolutely flavourless.
We visit the atrium every month, but honestly I'm starting to think we should go elsewhere because of the dry, over cooked and bland seafood range. Even the scallops in the shell served with the risotto was soooooo disgusting that every person on the table spat them out.
I booked Atrium for Melbourne Cup luncheon. The food and service was great, but when the race was on, there was no sound. So for the biggest race in Australia and the reason everyone was there, we couldn't hear the race. So no atmosphere at all. Lots of people complaining. When I complained, the manager apologised and said they had trouble with sound. Well that should have been sorted before the luncheon. Just not good enough. Won't go again for melbourne cup. Very disappointed.
I really enjoyed the Atrium restaurant at Crown
I have been here before several times, always leaving satisfied. Excellent food great atmosphere and such wonderful staff. This is one of the best places to eat for me as it has everything from Asian to Italian, seafood and a really great dessert buffet. Really one for those with that sweet tooth. Atrium is a must don’t think I’ll ever regret going here
Food quality and range was excellent only negative were the crab claws lacked any taste.
Service was impeccable, friendly and delightful staff made for an excellent experience.
Ambiance was warm and welcoming nice modern decor, clean layout with good separation of tables from food areas.
