Fantastic selection of food; great value with kids eat free during school hols; good service re cleaning plates etc; need to improve queues for dessert bar though (and replacing the deserts).
Great restaurant and the children eat free special was excellent.
Would have liked a lactose free ice cream and a nut free one as well children have allergies. However everything else was fantastic - best restaurant in WA.
The food selection and customer service was good.
Lovely buffet experience with family members on school holidays which was value for your money. Only negative is the service for water to top up your glasses, would suggest a carafe if water for the table so we can pour ourselves and staff can exchange for full one when the one you are drinking out of is empty
Have been a few times now and feel that the food is much the same. Price is on the high side. Sweets area is always high end and is great.
Loved all the fresh prawns & oysters, plus all the cold choices, but d think some of the hot food needs to be warmer especially when you have fish, pork etc.
For the price the quality of food wasn't up to scratch. They used to ve amazing but seems to have dropped range and food quality but kept the price. Service for tea and coffee was fairly poor and we were told by staff in coffee /bar area to go and find the "girl in black outfit" ourselves to get coffee and tea order.
So much food, so little time. Wasn't able to sample everything we would have liked to because we just couldn't fit it in. Staff were very friendly but slow to clear tables. Lots of flies on uncovered dishes.
Restaurant was running behind schedule when we arrived so our session was cut short. Tables very close together so we could hear everything that was being said at the table next to us and felt a little self-conscious about our privacy. Were disappointed with the lack of dress code.
Food great however we needed to ask for our free glass of champagne and cups of tea through out the afternoon, no one came to the table.
The hot food was amazing but the cold food and deserts were a bit average especially the fresh fruit that was disappointing
It was amazing, but we all agreed our only problem was the lines. We weren't sure where the lines started and which direction it was going.I was in a line for 10mins and people were coming from the other direction and getting in first. That is my only negative. It would be good if a better flow was sorted.Other than that everyone was very happy and I have recommended it to other people.Good value for money.
This is more like a afternoon tea buffet than high tea. There was no table service on our table although I did see other tables being serviced and plenty of staff walking around. We had to go and get our own pot of tea from the service trolley as no one was handing them out, no refill of milk jugs etc. The queues for the food were a mile long. The sandwiches were inedible so hard and stale almost like they had been sitting around without covers for days. No labels on cakes to show containing nut
A buffet is a buffet generally, but this one is different. Easily the best selection and quality of food at a buffet in Perth. You book online, sitting down is fast and you are eating in no time.
the price included Tea and Coffee (missing from some other buffet's), excellent decor and generally a beautiful place to eat for all ages.
I noticed next to us a couple had a baby with them, maybe a couple of months old, high chair was provided, clean and they were having a great night.
The ambiance and the food are an excellent combination. You feel the hospitality in your experience
It's such a great space with great food and a great ambience to boot. I just wish there was some type of discount for a booking of over 4 or more as it is expensive but I guess great food deserves a great price. Regardless of the price, we always enjoy most of the food served and always enjoy our dining experience at this place.
A very pleasant experience. I loved the fact that gluten free bread was available. One may think this a small thing, but I have never had a selection of bread before, in this country. Other restaurants in the Crown complex that I have experienced have a poor choice of food for Caeliac sufferers, so thank you.
Food and service was great but disappointed that the website pictures show prawn cocktails but didn't show that you have to peel and make yr own...
Slow service collecting plates and delivering drinks orders.
Used plates sat on the table for 10+ minutes. Drinks order took 15+ minutes to arrive.
Top draw price but very average service and staff attitude.
I was very disappointed this is my 2nd time coming to Atrium, at first.
I had hair on my sweet and sour pork but I didnt say anything because It wasnt that big deal but after last night dining in.
We had that special section with red chairs,
No one was clearing our plates.
Service was really bad.
It was my mums birthday and having a pile of plates on our table wasnt the ideal of service we are looking with $65 /head and there wasnt much selection last night compare to my first time
We have been several times now and once again enjoyed A nice evening out with friends. We found the quality of the savoury and hot foods very good. They had a good variety of food types enabling everyone to find something they liked.
The only thing that could be changed is the desert bar. The little deserts look great but i find most of them are very sweet and have that mass produced taste (everything tastes the same). I tended to stick to the waffles and ice cream. Good value, recommend it
Nice ambience, and service was okay. Food is pretty good there was adequate variety. Food probably did match the price but unfortunately coffee's weren't included.
We will probably try the Epicurean Crown Towers next time.
Dined here many times over the years and lately, each time is worse than the time before. I found much of the food to be akin to leftover leftovers, stale and dry. Particularly BBQ pork, peking duck, naan bread and the chilli crab was inedible. No more chances for me.
If teenagers get charged the full rate as an adult, then non-alcoholic beverages should be made available in lieu of sparkling wine.
Greeting staff rude and officious waiting staff attentive
Food was good, tables rather crammed in. Used plates not cleared very often.
Great atmosphere, beautiful decor and surrounds, very friendly staff, delicious food.
Our ( son and myself) fourth visit over the years for his birthdays! Never disappoints, food always fresh, plenty of choice and attentive but not obtrusive staff. All in all, always been very happy!
Took my hubby to Atrium for birthday breakfast.
Food was amazing and lots of choice for breakfast.
Staff very friendly and attentive.
They also wished my hubby a happy birthday when we got there.
Worst buffet I've even eaten at. The quality of the food was extremely low and the selection was equally poor. It was a complete ripoff.
We had a group of 6 people and decided on the Atrium for Easter Sunday dinner. The staff on our arrival were friendly and we were quickly seated and attended to for our drinks order. The array and variety of food was excellent and there were no complaints from anyone. Wait staff were quick and efficient to remove our used plates, our only complaint would be that our drinks took slightly longer to be ordered/replenished. We thought it was expensive at $79 each, but expected for Easter weekend.
Very enjoyable meal. Great variety of foods with excellent service and friendly staff. Perfect alternative for a family function celebration usually held at home.
Food was good. We booked a lunch for Easter Sunday arriving at 11:30am. We were seated in the upper dinning area under the glass roof. It got hot quite quickly and really ruined our meal. My daughter had ice cream and even before she finished it, it had melted! The crown should really think about putting some extra sails up on the roof.
We did ask the staff to move but the restaurant was full. We did get a jug of iced water and was told to hydrate! But then a table did become and we were moved.
Huge spread of tasty food with something to suit everyones taste especially the seafood. Staff were lovely and provided excellent service.
The food was very well presented and flavours superb with a great variety of tasty delights. Unfortunately the staff were very slow to clear away our used plates and we waited 30 minutes for our water glasses to be refilled.
Very bland food this time. Prawns, satay skewers, fried rice, all needed seasoning. Hard canneloni and tortellini (not al dente, just plain hard) fatty roast meat from the carvery, bland mass-produced desserts, price increased because of Easter weekend but quality of food decreased from usual visits, our entire table of 6 disappointed in the food. In the'special comments'section of booking, mentioned son's 17th birthday, not a mention, even though I have seen people celebrated by staff before...
It was a special treat for my daughters 21st. The food was perfect and always a fabulous selection. It was all hot and fresh.
It was my daughters birthday, we told them on the phone, and when we got there, she was 43, but got no response at all.
When paying the bill we were charged for 5 adults, booking we booked for 3 adults 2 children aged 5 and 9, the lady taking the money was very rude to me, I asked her if she wanted to see the children, who were waiting in the foyer with my husband as I had been waiting in line for 10 minutes to pay, but got no response, she altered the bill, so not a very nice ending.
Family friendly lunch, great food
