Atrium - Crown Perth Ratings and Reviews
Nice range of food. However limited seafood. It will be nice to serve fresh sashimi salmon and not smoked salmon. Also the mussels are those small black ones. It will be nice to have those green bigger mussels. It's a 5 star restaurant, so it needs to have 5 star food.
Honestly - for the cost of the meal, I was really disappointed with the food quality. Most of the meats/meat products were dry and nothing out of the ordinary for $ value. Crème Caramel - the caramel was burnt. The waiter who filled our water glasses and cleared the table was lovely - thanks for that.
Food was pretty good for a buffet, although we did get lost trying to work out where the end of each queue was for certain foods.
Unless you are a big eater, it's not very good value for money.
There weren't as many vegetarian dishes as I'd hoped, and even the standard vegetable dishes (eg. roast potatoes) ran out so we didn't get any.
Lovely place to eat. Only disappointment is that the sitting time is listed as 8-10 but we were given booking time of 8.30 still finishing still at 10. If the entry time is staggered the finish time should also be staggered as we are paying the same amount.
The service was appalling. When we first arrived we were shown to our table and not offered a drink or even told what to do or where the plates were etc.We waited 30 mins for a drink and when the wait staff finally brought out our drink we only received 1 but we ordered 2. No apologies were made. The food was ok but the service ruined our meal for sure.
Average. A lot of Asian food - more than half the buffet selection.
The sitting time was 12-2:30. By 2pm most of the food was being packed away and dessert bar was sparse. We felt it was all very rushed and hectic.
This was for my son's 21st celebration but I would not go back for a special occasion.
Service and staff were lovely. Not sure that there was a huge variety of food there, a lot of Asian food, would have liked to see a bit more variety. I think with there being so many choices of dining at the crown now, as in Chinese Japanese etc, I was looking forward to buffet with a bit less of an oriental flavour. There were 2 sections of Asian food, one of Indian, a sushi section and then a small section with roast meat, pumpkin, and mashed potato. Could have been so much better.
As always the quality and selection of food is very good.
The drinks service can be a little slow and the staff may not not have sufficient English to accurately fill orders.
The dress standard has slipped considerably. I was very disappointed to see a man wearing jeans and a navy-blue singlet at the evening buffet.
The food was of high standard and much better than most buffet I have dined.
The only fault I would say was the seating, all the chairs at our table and all the others that I could see had a rip in seat. As I was wearing a dress the seat scrapped on my leg, initially this took a bit to get comfortable
Im a regular diner here, finding any reason to enjoy another lunch at this venue.
Always trying to bring others to also enjoy the food.
Known by staff by sight ,always greeted and looked after well. Help on offer for me because im wheelchaitr dependant.
The food is excellent in variety and taste.
The quality of the food is a bit of a bit and miss at the Atrium. This time it was a miss.
We arrived bang on opening time 12.00 and was very surprised that a lot of the food as already drain ed of colour, particularly the stir fried. The Schnapper and several other dishes were dried out. I can only chat some of the food was leftovers from the last servings.
I wonder why they have so many servers behind the serving areas when they in fact do very little.
I love the food and the price. Where else can you get unlimited smoked salmon for that price. My friend loves oysters and so she adores the Atrium.
There is one point and it's quite minor. I found our plates where being whisked away too quickly sometimes not finished with them. A fingerbowl was whisked away and never brought one back had to ask.
The buffet was good but the roast beef ran out at 100pm and was not replenished, the Yorkshire puddings had to be eating with pork roast. I don't think there was enough curry dishes and closing at 200pm is not good enough when you book at 1230. The service was very ordinary, I would not go to this venue again.
we were a group of 10 celebrating a birthday,we found the noise level extremely high, difficult to talk, tables too close together,we sat in a very hot section with the afternoon sun bearing down on us thru the ceiling, lots of food stations which would have been easier to navigate if they were more obvious e.g. Asian, Indian, Seafood, etc, disappointed not to have beer, wine, coffee, tea included ! staff were offhand and arogant
I booked restaurant and requested birthday offer through phone which is small cake and sparkling wine as Crown member. On that day, reception said to me happy birthday.I was expecting they would deliver complimentary gift, but it didn't happen till we left.I don't mind it,but its all about feeling ande expectation.a bit disappointing.
It was the worst high tea we've ever had. Limited savoury selection and appalling quality of food that tasted stale and almost inedible. The sweets selection was better and there was a variety of cakes etc. and unless you're a "sweets" person, it's a complete waste of time and money. Wouldn't go back there for high tea and wouldn't recommend it to anyone either!
food were average, in my opinion is was not as good as before. Dessert option could be a it more option. Front of house staff are friendly and motivated but back of house staff are not very kin on service, I'm not impressed when we are for some ice cream for my children all we have was "sour" faces instead of sweet!
Sammi our table waiter was friendly, informed and efficient. Smiling too.Nice fellow. I'd like him to look after us again.
One of the chefs took time out to show my vegan friend all the options and made some butter-free vegetables for him which he served to our table - exceptional!
