Superb as always. Black pasta with seafood was a dish beyond belief in terms of freshness and quality of preparation. Service excellent and French house wines top notch. Best restaurant in New Haven by far.
Stopped by Florian on a bit of a whim drawn into their happy hour menu. Exceeded my expectations with a nice selection of fresh oysters alongside good by the glass wines to pair. The shishito peppers dish was a big portion and done simply but perfectly. We also split a couple fish tacos which are a go to whenever I stop by Florian. Capped it off with some Flan for dessert which was just what we needed. Catherine was our server and she did a great job . Professional and personable. 10/10 would recommend !
The food took entirely too long and was honestly mediocre for the price, this was one of the more highly recommended places in the area and out of the five places that we eat while we were there for the weekend this was the worst one I’m sad to say

So impressed with this restaurant. Be warned! They take Covid VERY serious. Everyone sanitizes hands and masks are worn. Our server, Mark was exceptional. His finesse when dealing with us made us feel like VIPs and he was always on the move. The food was fantastic! My only suggestion was that the Short Ribs were a little salty. Great flavor but salty. The croquette was crispy and delicious. The flan was smooth and flavorful.
Overall an excellent experience and im looking forward to visiting again soon.
Oysters were great, cocktails were awesome - love the "social hour" menu, think it's a great idea. My chocolate mousse dessert was silky smooth and very delicious. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating.
The short rib I had from the Restaurant Week menu was so, so, overly salty, it was unfortunate. I should have sent it back but was caught up in heavy conversation at my table, so I didn't do anything about it.
Excellent all around. I was very impressed by the Covid-19 safety measures. They are being more careful than anywhere else I have seen.

Food was really out of this world good, both our apps and our entrees were delightful. Oysters were not bad but nothing special. Service was excellent, both waitstaff and managers were super attentive and friendly.

What was written up in the NYT is a far cry from where we went... the chef must’ve changed. Servers and staff were all nice, but food was really not impressive. Drinks were flat, fries were burnt (it’s a “Belgian” restaurant- how do you burn your fries???) Was so looking forward to the moules marinière- not only was it not marinière, but had no flavor (google it- marinière does not have mirepoix in it!)
Super disappointed considering the overpriced menu, and completely pride-less chef. Would never go back, and do not recommend. There are much better, simpler spots in new haven to eat.
Not what we expected. Before our visit we saw that it had really nice reviews but we were disappointed after our dinner there.
Even though the service was okay the food left a lot to desire. We were expecting better quality food but nothing stood out. It wasn’t bad, there was just nothing special about it.
The only thing we enjoyed from the menu was the creme brule.
I’m sympathetic to changes due to the pandemic, but found my experience at Florian quite disappointing. Service was Meh (had to ask for napkins, utensils and an ice bucket for our wine), and the food like something from a school cafeteria. Disappointing as I’ve always had great experiences there.

Great service, good cocktails but the food menu was too basic. I went for my girlfriends birthday and we got still hungry, we couldn’t find a fitting option to complement the mussels pot. But nice place, I guess must be for COVID
Atelier Florian was wonderful. I will absolutely go back soon. The service was also fantastic; they were sensitive to all COVID-19 regulations, but still warm and friendly and accommodating.
Was a really cute place, casual but not too casual. Food was really good.
For our first outing since the pandemic shutdown, we sat outside at a table and had a wonderful lunch. The freshest lobster bisque and delectable Kahlua cheesecake were highpoints. The service was perfect and couldn't have been a better way to celebrate my son's 49th birthday.

My husband and recently on a June Sunday reserveda table outside and enjoyed oysters, mussels and delicious cocktails. The waiter bartender was friendly and accomadating. I love the food and the vibe at the Florian. It is one of my favorite restaurants in New Haven.
Dinner was delicious -the service was great- only reason I didn’t give five stars for all categories is because we were dining on the sidewalk but that is the only place we could e. After 3 months of no dining out. We were very grateful they are making the effort to be open!!
