    Title: 85 minutes for a rubbery lobster – you're paying for the view, not the dinner We booked Atardi for what was supposed to be the highlight of our trip: a sunset dinner on the sand. We had a 6:15 PM reservation and arrived right on time. It took 20 minutes for anyone to attend to us. Then we waited. And waited. We weren't the only ones: the tables around us were complaining about the delay too, and the table next to ours was served the wrong dish. When we asked about our food, the answer was simply "It's on its way." Our mains finally arrived at 7:39 PM – almost an hour and a half after our reservation. The lobster was rubbery and the rest of the food was average at best. Nothing on the plate came close to justifying the price. The only entertainment of the night came from some kids playing on the beach, pretending to eat the sand. After 85 minutes of waiting, we honestly considered joining them. The view is beautiful – that part is real. But that's all you're paying for. Tip: if you want the Atardi sunset, come for one drink at the bar and have dinner somewhere else.

    We have been to Atardi a few times over the years and found it to be outstanding. We went last night and had the complete opposite experience. We waited a long time for someone to approach our table. Drinks were ordered and we sat there for a while. Dinner was ordered and waited a long time to be served. (Food was okay.) No one came back to our table to see if perhaps we wanted another drink or ask if we needed anything. Dessert menu was left at the table again we sat there for another long time. The ambiance is beautiful but the service was extremely slow! Servers were inattentive. Unfortunately for the money we paid and the inattentiveness we will not be returning.

    Brandon was our server and he was attentive, friendly and professional. The sea Bass and Grouper were delicious. The atmosphere was the best if it all. Live entertainment was a delight. Our anniversary was noted and we received a complimentary Prosecco. A delightful evening!!

    Thoughts of dinner on the beach is nice. But then it was too dark to see what you were eating. The wind not a fan of the ladies. Wine selection wasn’t available, alternatives nothing to write home about
