We happily open bottles for $40 per 750ml bottle. There is a 2 bottle limit, and we request the wine you bring is not on our list.
I would recommend for special occasions or business meetings. Great for romantic evening and unique experience.
Went for their Thanksgiving buffet with Bloody Mary bar. Very happy with our choice as we had zero clue it was on the 31st floor and we’d have such a great view. Food was good, not great but I’ll also potentially chalk that up to the buffet aspect. Definitely interested in coming again for a normal meal

Great ambiance, unique and modern. Everything out of the kitchen was incredible. You should expect to drop some coin on a culinary experiment such as Ascend offers, but $1100 for 6 when 2 in the party aren’t drinking, is a bit steep.
Beautiful location. The food was good but not great given the price that was completely out of the range of reasonable.

I work in hospitality at a high end private club in F&B, this meal experience was by far one of my most favorite and memorable. It was an event not just a meal, and the service at every aspect was unbelievable. Well done, I will boast about this for years.

Beautiful restaurant and experience.
At night I felt like it was a bit too dark for my liking but the food, service, and views made up for it.
My only complaint was we were offered 3 choices of bottled water and I wasn’t told there would be a charge for them. I believe they were around $7 a bottle.
On a positive note, the customer service and presentation are always pleasant! Both special occasions I experienced the same welcoming service and knowledgeable staff.
The views are really nice either day or night looking out. The food was good, but fell a bit short of other big city steakhouses of the same caliber. The restaurant was also out of our first choice meat and fish which was a disappointment given we arrived before 7pm on a Saturday night. Service was very good. The table next to us was very loud and we found it difficult to hear each other at our own table so left before dessert.

Great ambience, good service, over-rated and over-priced food. Our waitress suggested the waygu steak because it would be more flavorful. It was not, and it was served luke-warm and more rare than medium rare. The mushrooms were salty, as were the scallops. My wife suggested that next time we just come for a drink in the bar but eat elsewhere.
I read about this place in a travel magazine and knew I had to go! I've talked it up so much in my head I was afraid I had too high of expectations. In fact, this place was even better! Amazing ambiance, gorgeous views, and prompt staff. My only recommendation is not to go there when your starving or you will rack up your bill. However, the food was definitely worth the price!

We had a fabulous experience from the food and service to the view!
It was a great one time experience, however, I was very disappointed with the service. I specifically requested a table by the window in my reservation, however, we were seated elsewhere. Moreover, there were several window tables available the entire time we were there. My husband ordered a drink that was never brought to him. We mentioned it as we were leaving and the gentleman helping us said he forgot to place that order. We ended up waiting 10 more minutes for it and my husband didn't even get to enjoy it with his dinner since we were long done with food by that time. A few minutes after ordering our dinner, we got two plates and some utensils set on our table. I fidgeted with mine, straightening it out but immediately someone else came and took those plates and utensils away without saying a word to us and set it on the table next to us. I felt like this was a little rude since we were given no explanation, but worse than that, the couple at the next table got the plates and utensils we touched.
Overall, I'm not super impressed but it was quiet and the esthetic of the restaurant was pleasing.
Service was very good, the view was great, but filet mignon that should have been medium was burned. They did replace it and comp'd the price, but by the time the new steak got to the table it was a bit too late.
Awesome service and ambiance. Over priced food. Go there for the service and views. Food is okay.
I had probably worse experience today. Ribeye was like 70% fat so we could not finish it. Servers looked all too busy with slower than normal.

This was our 5th visit. Last 4 times, the food quality was excellent. Today, it was mediocre. Doesn’t seem as good as before. Service was slow, not very good attention to detail. (It’s always been subpar compared to John Howie)
Will not return again. Not worth it.
My party arrived about 10 minutes earlier than our dinner reservation time but we were able to get seated right away, which was greatly appreciated. After being seated it took about 15 minutes for our waiter to get our drink reservation but the service throughout the remainder of our experience was excellent. The food and drinks were a little pricey, which was expected due to the location/style of the restaurant, but everything we had was delicious ( I recommend the Potato Puree-Butter as a side). Overall we had a pleasant experience and definitely recommend visiting Ascend at least once.
Great food & service. The view was fantastic!
The service was terrible. We were never once asked how our meal was or if we needed anything. The fries arrived cold. The burger itself was good and flavorful. The top bun, which is a good near inch thick, was void of any condiment at all. It was just painfully dry. We were never asked if we would like another cocktail. The waitress who was never around to ask how our meal was, was very concerned with sweeping around our table even knocking the broom into my chair. If was just very, very odd. I guess I expect more for a $150 lunch.
The food was great, complex taste and texture. However a little pricy. The lunch time sashimi and sushi appetizer costs $22, and there were only 3 sashimi and 2 sushi. The service wasn't great. For instance, they only gave us 1 pair of chopsticks when all 3 of us ordered rolls/sushi. The view was awesome. Will come back for food and view.
We got to experience Ascend via Seattle Restaurant Week. The service and food were fun and interesting. We were treated like queens!
Excellent service, no doubt, kind of expected will be pricey but food quality is just so and so. no wow feeling.

I had the $31 three course lunch. Beet Salad was good. Scallops were overcooked and pasta was bland. Hula desert was yummy. No black ice tea. And $7 for their flavored ice tea.
Had citrus sushi, it was good, a bit different. Maybe will try for steak to see if this is better. The view is outstanding. Best view in Bellevue.
We went for lunch on the Seattle Restaurant Week deal. My friend was pleased with her avocado rolls and pork belly ramen. My smoked salmon lettuce cups and curry chicken sliders were OK. The nori fries that came with the sliders were excellent. Our waitress was professional but barely spoke to us at all, and service was very slow. The views are great, but regular prices are high: as a small example, my Arnold Palmer (iced tea and lemonade) was $7.
We tried this restaurant for Seattle restaurant week. It was good experience. We will come back for other occasions.
Beautiful view, expensive and nicely plated food, and mediocre service. Sushi was served without soy sauce and one of our dishes (ramen) needed seasoning. Both could have been easy to fix, but unfortunately, it was challenging to get what we needed as our server didn’t check on us and it was difficult to catch their attention during the busy lunch hour. Come for the view and order the 3-course lunch special if you’re curious about the place.

Went for lunch during Seattle Restaurant Week. Made reservation thru Open Table. With Ascend’s disclaimer on OT site that they couldn’t guarantee reservation, I called to confirm and be sure we would have a table. It took leaving a couple messages, but call was returned and reservation confirmed.
Warmly greeted, given brief tour by kitchen and seated at a 2 top right at the large windows with spectacular view.
The choices on the SRW 2 course menu were reflective of the regular menu which was provided..
Food was beautifully presented and very tasty. Service was excellent - attentive but not intrusive.

The restaurant has one of the most impressive views I have seen in a long time. The service was spot-on. We appreciated the consideration when there was a hiccup regarding a couple of mixed drinks. Most of our party thought the food was very nice, I was less enthusiastic about the ramen on offer during SRW. I am kind of a ramen snob and it was a bit bland for me. I would certainly consider going back for a nice steak dinner, this is a high-end steak place after all. All-in-all it was enjoyable.
Food was absolutely delicious and the service is exceptional. It was little pricey but it was worth it. Definitely going back.

party of 3, being our first time, got the mini-tour of the restaurant on the way to our table. Great open grilling station with real wood fire. Smoking cocktails and some wine delivered by Tyler and his team to our table. Steaks were cooked perfectly, try the cap!! Dessert was something out of this world, super tasty!! Thanks, we will be back.........soon!!!!
If you are seated around the back it backs up to kitchen and there was banging on wall that was quite loud. We asked to be moved
Nice atmosphere and view, food is ok not great. We had the chicken leg and it was too salty. It's very pricey if you pay regular price, but we went during restaurant week so it's ok.
