Ardesia Wine Bar
Our wine list boasts over 30 wines by the glass with something for every palate and every pocketbook. Combining local and international, familiar favorites and undiscovered gems, we love to compare and contrast old and new world wines. We emphasize wines that offer the quintessential expression of their origins. Ardesia Wine Bar also offers a unique mix of local and international beers.
Our eclectic food menu consists of everything we love to have with wine or beer and all items are designed to be shared.
In the warm weather months enjoy a glass of wine on our 35-seat patio.
Food is expensive though
Zach and Mandy were so wonderful and Ardesia was the perfect spot for a pre-show drink and bite! Would go back in a heartbeat.
Perfect pre-theater place for drinks and yummy well-made small plates. Helpful staff. We sat outside next to the fresh basil plants used in the drinks and food - an unexpected treat in the middle of mid-town Manhattan.
Great outdoor seating area, our party of 5 spent 3+ hours on a Sunday afternoon. Staff kept providing great recommendations, the wines and food were superb.
This was my first time in Ardesia- I've lived in Hell's Kitchen for over two decades and was happy to discover this gem of a wine-bar off the beaten track. It has great ambience and a nice range of wines, cocktails and bar menu- all reasonably priced. We ate inside due to the humidity but the outdoor area looks lovely. I'll be back for sure.
Great wine, good value. The food is great-small plates but plenty. The owner is lovely knowledgeable and gracious. Five stars
It's a pretty little place and VERY crowded with a great vibe.
We only went for drinks and sat on these very comfy couches. Very nice
Drinks were great. Had a pretzel and must say as a life long New Yorker they were very good.
Can't wait to go back again and have some food. And more drinks :)
Such a great place. Delicious and unique wines and food. Service was outstanding
Loved my wine and appetizer. Furniture needs replacing or a little TLC, and environment is very important to me. But the service was great, kind and fun people. Friend and I had a chill catch up. Enjoyed!
Great selection of wine, cheese, and charcuterie! A true wine bar in NYC. The service was great and the staff was super friendly.
A beautiful oasis in the middle of the urban jungle
The wait staff was horrible in attending our table and the place was not busy. My date was upset by being ignored for 15minutes. The wait staff needs to be changed. They racially profiled patrons.
Fantastic spot for attractively priced wine and food. My girlfriend and I needed a place to go after work and it was perfect.
It was my first time there and I would go back! I was with a friend and we had a show to catch. Once we told our waitress, she had everything out fast and we were able to enjoy the drinks and food and see the show on time.
good date spot or for a quick bite to eat, great drinks
We sat in the lounge area and it was the perfect, tucked away spot for after work drinks! The prices for food (like the salad my friend got) can be a little bit high for the amount that you get, but the quality is all very high and the drink selection is thoughtful and varied. I got a selection of cheese and charcuterie and it was delicious and just the right amount of food to go with a drink or two (and the prices on those were pretty on par with anywhere else). The service was attentive while never rushing us, which is always a plus.
What a neighborhood gem. Love the outdoor seating but the inside always feels so cozy and warm. Great wines and good snacks.
Wonderful tapas-croquettes of the day, smoked chesse shrimp skewer were perfectly prepared & so flavorful. Raddichio & apple salad came with a zesty dressing that complemented the ingredients. The only fail was devilled eggs-they had took much mayo? which made the filling too soft & it needed some heat. We paired with Rioja reserva that was .
I have gone to Ardesia a few times because friends live across the street, but it generally hasa been to grab a glass of wine or three and go. This time I arranged and evening with my three adult nieces to have a dinner snack and some wine and it truly did not disappoint. The wines we had were lovely and the food was quite superb. Now that I live closer as well, I will search it out more often.
Lovely chilled place to enjoy great time and small plates while catching up with friends. WE were visiting from the UK and you did not disappoint and and I will be recommending you to my other UK friends when visiting New York.
Great spot to enjoy a nice glass of wine. Staff is super helpful.
The place is well decorated and has a good ambiance, but the food disappointed incredibly. Additionally, the server was not attentive and would not come by to check on us unless we called out to him.
As a Hell's Kitchen resident for 12 yrs, Ardesia Wine bar is GEM of the hood! if you are looking for a bar with touch of aristocratic vibe ,food & drinks give it a try!
Special thanks to Jordan and Matt for taking great care of us!
See you in couple of weeks for another great and fun dinner! Kudos to you guys
Wonderfully delicious small dishes. The wine is great also but the pours are short and although they have appropriate glasses when you order a bottle, they give an all purpose glass when you order by the glass. Booo.
We had a great pre-theater dinner and everything was delicious. We ordered charcuterie and our waiter brought the wrong meat and they quickly replaced it free of charge which was really nice.
Really enjoyed my first time at Ardesia. Great food and great people.
Great little wine bar! Definitely will return
Great spot across from new MCC theater lots of small plate choices all well prepared and delicious
Good wine pour which is always a nice feature of a wine bar
We had an early reservation on New Year's Eve, and even though we weren't staying until midnight our server made us feel very special. Made for a very festive occasion!
Menu was limited, wine pours were pricey, and the service was lack-luster. Had we sat at the bar or taken advantage of happy hour it probably would have been a better value, but overall not a great experience.
A new favorite place, lovely ambiance, good food and a great wine list.
We sat outside...beautiful night. They supply blankets if it gets too cold. 😊
Been livin in Hells kitchen Neighborhood for last 15 yrs, this place is by far one of the best wine bars not only in this hood but also in the city. the atmosphere, wine selections, food and people are nothing less than great! stop by and toast a glass....À ta santé!;)
We had a great time, with friendly and attentive staff, tasty food, a great selection of wines and decent i.e. ‘eco-sustainable’ portions
Small bites and good wine! The Camembert was to die for! Best cheese I’ve ever had!
Lovely lively place for meeting friends and having a glass of wine or a quick bite. Tables are small, space is tight. Not the place for a long sit down meal. But food quality is very good and wine selection is good.
Extremely small portions which were overpriced. Service was slow.
Lovely, quiet locale with delicious and very filling tapas-style food. The burrata, deviled eggs and pretzel dishes are excellent. It seems the rare restaurant in NYC in which one is able to talk without a deafening noise level. This wine bar is a place I return to often and enjoy each time.
