Very good meal. Nice selection. Wines were good. Love the fact that the family owners are there.
After reading the reviews in CT Magazine, I had high expectations for a memorable evening. While I can’t say anything was unsatisfactory, the meal lacked the wow factor I was anticipating. Their usually limited menu was even more limited on Valentine Day weekend.
All four in our party had previewed the online menu and had already picked out our favorites, included appetizers. None appeared on the Valentines menu. While we expected robust pricing for Wilton, a $5 charge for sharing appetizers was rather absurd, and a first for me.
The restaurant is small, and two tables of boisterous guests made normal conversation difficult . Unfortunately, a rather common occurrence in restaurants these days.
It was a long ride from New Haven County that I don’t plan on taking again any time soon.
This was the best Italian restaurant I’ve ever been to. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Italian dining!
All the food we ate (party of 4) was good. Not great just good and my feeling was it would have been just as easy to make at home. The only great compliment was on the muscles which were very well received. CHicken Scarpiello had no sausage and only a few red peppers, not very hot. The atmosphere and service were wonderful. I guess my expectations on this our first visit were set to high.
I have decided to stop eating in restaurants where the noise level is so loud that I cannot have a conversation with my partner. Open Table calls it energetic. I call it very unpleasant and rude.
We stopped for dinner following our daughters local swim meet on Saturday 1/18. After a day of being wet and cold and fighting a snow storm, we were happy to enjoy a lovely dinner at Aranci. The ambience was quite relaxing, overlooking the town center white washed in snow. The pasta dishes we had were superb. Linguini Bolognese, Rigatoni with Chicken and Eggplant..Wine was luscious. Service was very attentive.
A great finish to a long winter day!
Delicious pasta, wonderful service. Can’t wit to go again.
Good food and great service. Perfect evening.
Service felt like we were at home. Presentation was excellent and food was enjoyed by all. Certainly worth a dinner out with friends, you won’t be disappointed. Enjoy.
Excellent! Attentive, pleasant service.
A charming, quiet place. Good good if not great. Service friendly and efficient
Excellent find! This restaurant has become a favorite! Best Italian food in the area.
Came on a very cold night and were placed at a table near door and it was freezing. Hostess and waiter seemed bewildered when we asked to move. Ordered fettuccini Bolognese and the was a tiny.portion with VERY LITTLE sauce. Bland and unremarkable.
Would not return
The gnocchi melted in my mouth! Worth the trip if you don’t live in the area. This was our first time there. There is not a bar to sit at, but the tables have good spacing. You don’t feel cramped. The service is very attentive to your needs and you never feel rushed.
Great atmosphere and food. Definitely will go back.
This is an excellent restaurant! From the moment you enter in and leave. The food is good, the service is good, the prices are good! We love it
This was our second time here and we weren’t disappointed. The service is excellent. I never have a problem finding something to eat, but I would say the menu is limited. That’s probably how they maintain high quality food.
Wonderful hospitality. As other reviewers have stated, you feel like you are transported back to Italy. Food was excellent across the board and the familial atmosphere of service made it very neighborhood-like. Thoroughly enjoyed our Aranci Aperitivo cocktails, branzino and the fettuccini bolognese. Would go back for sure. My only negative is that the LED blue lights are distracting and somewhat clashing with the decor. I would do away with them and add more candlelight to accentuate the orange-themed decor.
Wonderful food and great service. Great lunch menu. Ample parking!
Excellent food. Portions a little light. We will definitely return
Each time we visit, we find some things very good and some quite indifferent. This was the same this time, with the appetizers excellent and both entrees disappointing. The shrimp with brandy were very good as was the Caesar salad. The gnocchi were bland and boring and the fettucini Bolognese not all that good.
Once again an amazing experience! Food, service and ambiance always exceed expectations.
My wife and I ate at Aranci 67 for the first time tonight, and we loved it! It’s a lovely place tastefully decorated with beautiful Italian ceramic topped tables. The service was friendly and prompt and the prices were reasonable, considering the quality of the food. And wonder of wonders, it was quiet enough to have a conversation.
As for the food, simply put, it’s the best pasta we’ve had in a long time. To start, i had the seafood “soup,” which was a tomato based broth with shellfish. Out of this world delicious. My wife had the special split pea soup and the pasta bolognese, which she ate all of, something she rarely does. I had the veal in mushroom sauce with a side dish of spaghetti with tomato sauce. The pasta is made there and is tastes like butter. We will definitely return with friends
All of our dishes were excellent. Wonderful Italian red.
Best ghocchi we ever tasted. Wonderful service. Very good appetizers.
The food was very good. The chef made veal parmesan for us even though it wasn't on the menu. The spaghetti wasn't drained enough -- it was a bit watery.
The dining room was beautiful -- tastefully decorated.
However, the noise level was high. We had a tough time hearing the people opposite us at the table. If the restaurant were to utilize sound-absorbing material, it would be much better. It wasn't a "young" clientele, so having a high noise level (to attract young ones) isn't very important.
Pleasant atmosphere, attentive service, and excellent food!
Excellent food and people!
Wonderful family owned restaurant. Food is exceptional. Service is fabulous. Nice outdoor seating area for summer day or night.
Classic seafood themed Mediterranean menu rose to the occasion. Special pasta de Mer was notable.
Everything was perfect!! Service, ambiance and the food along with a nice selection of current ingredients was delicious!! Highly recommend dining here.
Our experience was outstanding in every respect. All of the staff were exceptionally helpful and nice.
I highly recommend dining at Aranci 67. We are fortunate to have such a high class restaurant in Wilton.
This was only my second visit to Aranci 67 but, like the first, it was excellent and I will be going back! The food was delicious and well worth the price.
The food was absolutely delicious. Very authentic Italian recipes and simple ingredients. A must try in an area that lacks quality Italian restaurants.
This is a family run business and the food is extraordinary. The staff is so friendly and accommodating that you want to take them with you to every restaurant at which you might eat. Outside dining is comfortable and most pleasant. Definitely a 5 star restaurant.
We love Aranci. The food is delicious, high quality, and consistent. The family who runs the restaurant is lovely and attentive. The minimalist menu ensures that every dish is perfection every time. We’re lucky to have such a great Italian restaurant in our neighborhood.
Excellent food served by helpful and friendly staff. We had a relaxed evening with family while other tables had friends enjoying time together.
Great food and excellent service. Will come back again!
Aranci is without a doubt one of the best (if not the best) restaurants in Wilton. We have had nothing but the best food and overall experience in all of the times we have dined there.
Aranci 67 is rated 4.2 stars by 73 OpenTable diners.
