Absolutely delicious food - so flavourful and an exciting take on classic mezze dishes. A shame that it wasn't clear when we booked that we would be seated outside.
Great tasty food lots of variety and really attentive service
Rainy evening in Borough Market while we still have to be outside due to lockdown. However the staff where very up beat and welcoming when we arrived. They found us a lovely table out of the rain, near a heater and provided us with a free welcome drink of gin, lemon and tonic. It was a set meal for £35 per head which was good value and plenty to eat. Will go back.
Staff were efficient and friendly but the food was overpriced and nothing special. £19 for 3 tiny maze plates.
Not the quality it used to be... I used to come a lot 5 years ago, and I was very disappointed yesterday. The food quality was not as it used to be. I will not be coming back.
Delicious food, good friendly service and a well covered outside seating area
Excellent food. Highly recommend the tasting menu.
Food was delicious. Lamb koftas were especially yum! Followed by a few rhubarb cocktails
The overall experience would have been good had it not been for the 'welcome drink' which came across as complimentary and was served out to everyone (i.e. waiters did not ask whether customers would like one but just handed it out with a smile saying it is a 'welcome drink') and then customers were charged in the end. Poor business practice, needs review.
A bit chilly! I was told that the tables under the heaters were for 4 and the tables for 2 were further away from them so it was cold. As a result the hot food went cool quickly. They were giving some walk-ins in 2s the warmer tables so as I had booked it felt a bit unfair but it is what it is given the situation and can’t complain about anything else!!
The only recommendation I have is to have some sort of heating for all of the tables. We got cold quickly so it was difficult to stay for too long.
Great meal, speedy service and despite being limited to a set menu, the food was fantastic and felt it was good value. Definitely come hungry as it is a lot of food! Nice to be amongst the buzz of Borough Market. The main drawback was that as seated outside, it was absolutely freezing even with several layers and a coat (as we were in the line of tables not next to a heater) and choice of mainly ice-creams for dessert compounded that - perhaps nice to offer a blanket and a warmer choice of dessert if considering outdoor meals.
Nice food, good service. So happy to be out again!
Our first visit but not our last food Devine and lunch offer fabulous value.
Absolutely loved it such a wonderful place.staff friendly!
Excellent food as always. The only problem is the outside ground causing an alarming tilt to the outer tables. Perhaps that will be less of a problem once everyone can eat inside.
Great food, amazing cocktails, really good value - perfect setting for a dinner with a group of friends.
Despite going to Borough Market frequently, I had never come across Arabica - but what a find! Still in the final stages of social distancing, we ate outside from a shortened lunch menu. The food was absolutely delicious - all veggie and fresh as a daisy. In particular the Spring Man'ousheh and the Beetroot Borani.
We were initially seated on a slightly wobbly table and moved immediately without saying anything! Service was so friendly - Mel in particular really looked after us and really wonderful. Food was incredible - we had the set menu and even had leftovers to take home! We left happily stuffed and before leaving I made a reservation to return next month.
Really good set menu. The staff were lovely. Great location!
Great spot for an outdoor lunch, protected but not cold. The menu is currently short but delicious and great value for money.
Service wasn’t great
Poor value but ok if you want to sit around borough market
The lack of a full menu spoilt the experience a little for us.
Amazing service and great value. Food and cocktails were delicious! Will definitely be back
I called ahead and asked about my specific allergy diet requirements vegan, Jain etc and I was told it would be fine and that I would have a choice etc. I did think the lady on the phone wasn’t really listening as she seemed overly confident considering I struggle with most establishments, I booked anyway. Unfortunately it was a different story once at the restaurant, we had some issues as most dishes were pre made. However to my genuine surprise the first dish I had was very nice considering but honestly my hopes weren’t too high, the 2nd dish I picked at and left half.
My friends who ordered were given and charged for 2 platters and only ordered 1 but there were about 4 different servers who came to our table so that could have been the confusion. However with so many plates I can appreciate that, that’s how the food comes out, in good time. One of the waitresses spoke so fast and with a very thick accent and spoke over us when we were talking to the point that she had to keep calling out the supervisor/manager. But she was nice it’s just it was busy and a stressful environment, perhaps her awareness was everywhere at the same time, as you can imagine.
Overall the atmosphere was nice and although my friends left the majority of their dishes without desiring a take away box, they enjoyed it. I did order another tea that I reminded 2 waiters about but alas it never came. Under the circumstances of covid I commend the establishment but I do feel things could have been handled differently.
Beautifully presented and tasty food, nice warm outdoor table under heaters, great service and fun atmosphere. Will be coming back.
Very attentive waitress, super polite and welcoming. As everything is still outside you’re all on the stools which may not be appropriate for everyone and saw some people having to stand. The tables are closer than in some places due to it been in the market I think. Food was tasty. Jigsaw trying to squeeze all onto one table so we had to combine a few of the plates to make room. The staff were very helpful and are doing all they can in the current environment. Will definitely be back when the inside opens up.
Delicious meal at Arabica! Slight mix up at some point with service as we waited 45 mins to get our starters but once we pointed out we have been waiting too long we were served immediately. Also got a free cocktail to recompense.
Great set menu with attentive staff, good atmosphere in the market
Wonderful food, excellent service; the staff were friendly and made the evening a treat.
Lovely Food, all tapas options was delicious! And service spot on! 👍
Fabulous seasonal food. Ambience score only low because it was freezing outside but that is hardly their fault!!
We ate outside ( because that is all we can do at the moment!) . The staff did all they could to make us comfortable, even though it was wet and chilly.
The set menu was great value, and the food was delicious!
We will certainly be back
Fabulous restaurant, a definite to return to, food and service were wonderful
Having used Arabica many times before lockdowns I was disappointed to find there was only a fixed price menu at £35 per head
It meant we would not be able to have the freedom to order what we wanted to sometime 2 of the same dish and sometime only one starter and normally no deserts
The menu did not allow that
So for some nibbles, squid and two ‘main courses £35??? Sorry poor value
The chicken and lamb however was superb!
We had a meal deal for lunch, and it was all delicious and good portions.
It was a nice setting right next to the Borough Market. A nice wine selection.
Fab food as always
Really good food and nice location. Staff were also really helpful with allergies and altered dishes to accommodate.
Great food place! Only criticism is the 2/3 pints are definitely not 2/3.. but otherwise great food, great staff!
Had a lovely lunch with a friend. Good service but not rushed, despite the time limit on the table. Really enjoyable food and great cocktails. Would definitely go back
