Unfortunately the food wasn’t great. The escargot were tough buts of rubber. The pork was so dry my father couldn’t eat it. My bouillabaisse was delicious though. Pate was bland, needed mountains of salt.
We were expecting to be seated where we could enjoy the waterfront experience, instead we were seated up stairs .. the chairs were low and it felt like we were little children at a big table. Th food was ok and there was a good selection to choose from and plated well. It was a first date and overall I was disappointed with the experience. I firming believe if we had a private table downstairs the experience would’ve been very different. We went to another bar/restaurant close by and enjoyed a good vibe, redeeming our evening.
Enjoyed our night at this restaurant. Staff and food was lovely. Will definitely go back. The steak tartare was to die for.
The food was slightly disappointing - meat tough, pate sloppy, desserts just average. Also didn’t help that the front of house manager was pretty rude when we arrived. I wouldn’t rush back.
We were here on a visit to Brisbane. The champagne oysters are a must try! The duck confit had lovely flavours to it and made for an interesting meal. I will definitely try to squeeze in another visit here! Great service and a nice calm atmosphere away from the weekend madness.
Our main meals came out cool. The mushrooms were quite hot but it appeared that our meals had been sitting for too long before being served. This was disappointing.
