Friendly staff, Ana was awesome and food was fantastic!

We had a wonderful dine in experience. The food was incredible and the staff was accommodating and friendly.

My wife and I went New Years eve and had a great time. The entire staff was outstanding. The ambiance great. Food great. E really enjoyed the evening.

The food was delicious but they give you too small of an amount for the price. Not to mention they don’t put bread on the table. Otherwise everything else was fine.

We dined at Apropos to celebrate our 56th wedding anniversary and were treated beautifully by all the staff. The setting on a hilltop overlooking the Hudson River provides wonderful vistas. Following dinner, one of their staff gave a tour of the property which was previously a convent.

Great food. Great service. Can’t wait to go again.

The variety of food was very limited there was only one food that I had any interest in, the restaurant itself was lovely and the staff were very very friendly and helpful t was also very very clean..

3 Scallops for $36 seems a bit much, as was my husband's small fish dish. So we went home and had a hearty snack. Service was Super, lovely setting, and everyone was very kind.

Had brunch with friends that I have not seen in a very long time. The Inn abs the restaurant are so very beautiful. Every staff member that we encountered was warm and welcoming. Our brunch was terrific. Started with a delicious Bloody Mary for each of us. 2 had the St Benedict both commented on how delicious it was. The others

The menu is very limited and not very exciting what’s on it. They need to do a lot of improvement for people to come. I was expecting it to be romantic, but It was not very warm and appealing. Such a beautiful location too bad they didn’t live up to the location.

Nice seclude place to enjoy a well prepared meal in a sophisticated atmosphere. The staff is wonderful... They need to lower the lighting in the bar and the Hudson Room where it blinds you in the evening, but the Main dining room is just right. I do restaurant design so this astonishes me that it is so bright and out of character to the quiet atmosphere of the rest of the facility. Otherwise, a wonderful experience all around.

The food was beautifully presented and delicious. Came out fresh and hot and we thoroughly enjoyed everything we ate and drink. The ambiance was very nice and romantic as well. Menu was small and non seafood options were limited but the crispy chicken over mashed sweet potatoes was delicious. My boyfriend enjoyed the Seabass and said it was very good as well. It's pretty pricy ($100 plus tax/tip for 2 drinks, 2 entrees and 1 appetizer) but it is a hotel restaurant and they are typically pricier.) Service was wonderful as well. We had a nice dinner on night one and also sunday bunch which was good but also very pricy ($16 for eggs, bacon, sausage and a slice of ciabatta toast).

I've been there with a few friends for various occasions and have enjoyed the experience and the food. So pleased this is nearby and intend to return. The grounds are lovely and I look forward to warm weather strolls before dinner to enjoy their gardens.

I was so pleased with Apropos. It was my first time dining and I thought everything was amazing. The food was Fantastic and the ambience was really very special. This is NYC experience in our backyard. If the app would have allowed (especially Post COVID) the chef/waitstaff and restaurant deserves the rating of 5+++ Nice job!

We were very excited to try Apropos the menu sounded interesting. Arrived at 6:30 wasn’t sure who was greeting and taking names. Was down hill from there. We were a party of four,
three of us order antipasti for 3, which came out with one piece of toast. When I asked the waiter if we could have more he went into the kitchen and responded they were out of bread. Drinks were horrible and entrees are sparse to say the least. Service is very slow almost non existent. Sorry Apropos.

The service was exceptional from beginning to end. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our experience was high quality. I never order chicken because I’m so bored of it frankly, but our waiter was really talking up this chicken dish so I went for it. Was not disappointed in the slightest - dare I even say the best chicken dish I’ve had out in a very long time!!!

Service was very good. We dined early and shared a small side area with one other family socially distanced at separate tables. We had a nice view of the river. Very clean and modern decor. Food and wine were good! We enjoyed our time there, and went and sat outside by the fire pit

We had two excellent dinners and one excellent lunch at Apropos. It's a real find. Service is very attentive and the food interesting and well-prepared. Highly recommended.

I went for lunch on Sunday. Unfortunately we had to do brunch as lunch didn't start until 2PM and we were there at 12:30 pm. The brunch menu was very limiting. Aside from that the place is beautiful. The landscaping is amazing as is the Inn. And the view is amazing

If you like the menu to be modest and the food to be bland and or incinerated you are in for a treat. It's a crying shame because they obviously spent a lot on renovations, but then spoiled it by mediocre food. I know it's the tail end of the summer menu, but if you've given up, give up. Change the menu. Change the chef. Do something.

O and if you are going to go to a touchless menu have the decency to tell people when they make a reservation, or at least *before* they sit down. Not everyone wants to find and pull out a phone to order their food after they sat down.

Lovely outside seating in a garden with widely spaced tables. Very good food and service.

Be nice to have some bread or rolls with meals. Bread helps push food onto the fork!

Overall it was a good experience - the help was excellent until it came to paying the check which was delayed quite a bit while we were trying to get home and relieve the sitter. Food was very interesting with the exception of the Striped Bass - small portion for an entrée could have used some other items on the plate. I'm sure they will get the kinks worked out shortly.

Excellent first class venue... I will definitely be back.

The food was prepared to perfection especially the octopus panzenella. The setting was magnificent. Service was friendly and attentive. The combination of all 3 made for a great anniversary visit!
