The waiter was hilarious and so personable. My mom has a metric ton of allergies and he was patient, courteous, and genuinely took care to ensure she didn’t have any issue. The food absolutely slapped too.
Delicious authentic food at a good price. The garlic bread was great. I absolutely loved the chicken parm. Some staff weren’t wearing masks correctly.
Evelyn was an amazing server, made me feel at home during tough visits to MassGeneral Hospital. The food was perfect, along with the prices. Thank you so much!!
We aren't in Boston very often, but try to eat an Antonio's when we are. Not a fancy place, but friendly, good service and excellent food.
This restaurant is as good as any in Boston’s North End only it’s not in the North End. We had our first dinner at Antonio’s 25 years ago when I first met my wife, it was great to come back to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. We were treated like gold and the food is authentic and absolutely delicious!
We are already trying to figure out when we can go again. Both my wife and me have previously worked in the restaurant business, in high end establishments for years and we know a winner when we see one. Go check out Antonio’s and I promise you will agree with this review. They made our 25th Anniversary extra special . Thank- you!
I'm surprised there are so many positive reviews here. My family was disappointed with this place. The food was not tasty, but there was a lot of it. I have been to Italy and often had dinner at Italian restaurants in the USA. Food in Antonios and authentic Italian cuisine are two different things. I do not recommend this place to visit.
Antonio’s was fabulous!! The service was fast and the restaurant was clean and semi quiet (for the city). Lovely local Beacon Hill place!
We got the chicken parm and shrimp fra diavolo with linguine and it was to die for!!! Soooo good, highly recommend. We also got the house Cabernet, and it was great.
We will be back!
The food was good and the waiter very friendly and efficient. The outdoor seating was to close though. Definitely not 6 ft apart.
Average food. Not sure I would go back, but wouldn’t be the end of the world if I had to.
With so many great Italian restaurants in Boston, why waste a dining experience on a place that is just okay? Only possible reason is to get reasonably priced pasta served hot and on the bland side.
Love it here, food outstanding🍀
We always enjoy dining at Antonio's when we come to Boston, especially after visits to MGH Hospital. The food is excellent and the staff is friendly and helpful.
Service as always was excellent. Pasta was al dente fresh. No problem meeting special requests!
Absolutely wonderful experience! Everyone we encountered there were so nice and friendly! Made us feel very welcomed!
Be good was extremely excellent as always!! Always the destination when visitors come out..
Can always count on having a good meal when dining here
My family went there for Valentine’s Day. Great experience. They made sure everyone was safe too. Highly recommend the Veal!
Amazing food and excellent service! I loved it and will definitely be eating here again.
Great food, the inside looks unassuming but the quality of food and of the staff was outstanding.
Absolutely amazing!! My husband and I went for lunch, and I can't say enough about the quality of our meals. He had been numerous times and knew exactly what he wanted--the sausage, chicken, peppers and potatoes in vinegar. I had the difficult task of choosing my meal because everything sounded so good. I went with the special--chicken, green beans and pappardelle in a spicy red sauce. Amazing! Fresh pasta makes all the difference!
The portions were large, so we both took home more than half our meals. We usually aren't dessert people, but our meals were so tasty that we decided to try the chocolate mousse cake. Equally yummy!! It was worth the calories!
Our waitress was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and attentive.
From beginning to end, an excellent experience.
Loved the staff, the food was amazing, and we had a great waitress!
The best Italian in the city, and Andrea is so wonderful!
Great dinner as always, staff was fantastic! The bruschetta was delicious.
Huge portions. Would be better to cut back on size, and improve quality. Waitress outstanding.
Outstanding food quality and great value. Staff was very attentive and offered great recommendations for food selections. Ambience is great. Better than the North End.
Our favorite place for authentic and delicious Italian food hands down! Better than anywhere we have been in the north end!
We absolutely loved our night out at Antonio’s. The food was amazing and the service was outstanding. We will definitely be back!
Antonio’s was an old favorite from when I lived back in the area it it didn’t disappoint going back after 10 years. The service was great and engaging and the food rivals anything in North End!!
In town for the weekend. Booked a table because of past reviews and they were spot on. Food was great, servers were fast and friendly and the price was right. Perfect little restaurant to fill your Italian craving
Food was fresh, and there was plenty to eat. In fact, neither of us finished our dinners.
Wonderful service, delicious food and good portions!
We first discovered Antonio’s while at Mass General several years ago and we’ve been fans every since. Wonderful food, atmosphere and service! Prices are good and you get North End style food without fighting the North End crowd. Highly recommend!!
Our all time favorite! I have never had a bad meal here.
Great staff. Great food
I have never written a negative review for a restaurant but this place was that bad. Very surprised with the quality of food given all the 5 star reviews. I've eaten at almost all the Italian restaurants in Boston and this is by far the worst. We had drinks, salad, appetizer, and entrees. Each meal came out within 2-5 mins and tasted like it was just microwaved. The entire dinner lasted for about 30 mins and was disgusting. Everything was bad! On top of that it was expensive. I would likely recommend looking anywhere else!
I had the chicken cutlet sandwich and it was delicious.
Great food & service at small, family run, authentic Italian restaurant. We chose to dine outdoors and as we have dined there previously, we were not surprised that there is a fair amount of activity on Cambridge St. The location is across from MGH so there will be an occasional ambulance, motorcycle or large truck. We recommend a nice bottle of Montepulciano to go with any of the fabulous homemade pasta dishes and the conversation will drown out the street noise.
So delicious and great service! I definitely recommend.
My husband and I always come here when we're in the area. The food is amazing and the service is quick and friendly. You can't get a better experience on Charles St!
Can’t go wrong with the menu, everything is delicious
