Angliss Restaurant is the Institute's flagship venue and the home of the Great Chefs program. The Angliss Restaurant provides a professional-standard training environment for our students and an affordable dining experience for guests. The food style offered at Angliss is a fusion of contemporary and classical influences. Guests will enjoy culinary delights from final year apprentice chefs and cookery students and impeccable fine dining service provided by hospitality students.

Lavish three course buffet lunches and dinners are also available throughout the year. These offer excellent value, with choices including soup, salads, hot dishes, roast carvery and a selection of desserts.

We attended the special Indian night. All of the food was excellent and generous in portions. We had the most delightful young lady who looked after us all night. She was chatty and highly engaging. Highly recommend if you want a great meal at good prices and help support our next generation of hospitality professionals.

Great value for the food which tastes good as well! The mocktail was great too with a beautiful presence and nice flavor. Very happy with the lunch and has already thought of revisiting it. Waitresses are students at Angliss who are friendly and kind though the service level is under the progression of achieving the level of a typic fine dine (This is not a complain)

It's a win-win situation; you get to help staff during their training and you get great food at very reasonable prices. We were a party of four. Our entrees included a chicken terrine and prawn wontons. Mains included grilled spatchcock, beef cheek and ocean trout. A ginger cake dessert was shared by each couple. The stand-out dish was the prawn wontons with chilli oil. The beef cheek was tender but perhaps a little overdone so tending to be dry. We all commented that the ginger cake was just like mum used to make. Cocktails/mocktails are available as well as an extensive bar and wine list. This was perfect for a Saturday lunch.

Seating was good Waiter was very helpful and informative Food was tasty and presentable to a high standard. Lucky we checked the BILL; as it was mixed up, with, another table order was on our table bill too. The payment was very quickly sorted out and was very happy with this. Just please check your order on the BILL... No overpayment due to a mix up... But very Happy with my experience.

Our table had a wonderful lunch. The food was delicious and great value and all the students were eager to do their best. We were well attended and enjoyed ourselves b very much.

What a treat visiting this restaurant. Food was so inexpensive and all three courses were delicious. The service was incredibly attentive - there were as many wait staff as patrons. Plus it was gorgeous being able to support these students in pursuit of their careers. They all try so hard. We will be back!

Keeping in mind this is a training restaurant, and this was the first week of semester, the students did a fantastic job, they were friendly, and helpful and addressed any issues as soon as they arose. Food was fantastic and we had a great time.
