We have been to the Hawksmoor before and the place is consistently great. From the greeting at the door to the final payment of bill, the whole experience is very good. Food was a great standard, we both had steak and they were perfect.

We had a lovely afternoon. I really enjoyed my steak pie. Have to say we found the menu a bit limited - especially when we were told there was no fish. However, we did enjoy the food we got. The service was excellent with all staff very attentive and we were looked after well.

A favourite place for a get together with friends for a long weekday lunch over some very affordable comfort food and a bottle of wine - or two. The service is excellent - the young staff are efficient and attentive. The ambience during a weekday is nice and relaxed, and the photos of famous Scots covering the place is a clever touch. Easy to get to at the West End - what’s not to like?

Hadn’t been in for a while as wasn’t happy at last visit decided to give it another try. Food was good but service was poor the girl tried but I would say she wasn’t a waitress, I feel the place is lacking a good manager menu was never removed we had 4 on table all through then no cutlery when meal arrived little things but important I don’t think I’ll be back sorry as I used to really like this venue
