Ideally located on Dawson Street, Amuse is a bijoux 40-seater restaurant owned and run by a couple, Joanna & Conor Dempsey. Conor leads the kitchen to create his own modern French-Asian style cuisine, unique in style to anywhere else in the city. The ambience in the restaurant is warm and friendly, with a professional and discreet service. An interesting and delightful wine list to complement the menus. Tasting Menus are the most popular way to enjoy this special place in the heart of Dublin!

The restaurant was quiet, but hey it was a Tuesday night. That said, the food was exquisite - amazing combinations of flavour beautifully presented. The waitress was excellent - the food was presented at a perfect pace & her communication friendly & informative.

Did the 9 course tasting menu, was still hungry afterwards, food was ok, the wine was better, a draught kept blowing in the door to our table every time someone opened and closed it which was quite often. Very expensive

A fantastic lunch menu. Full of flavour and beautifully presented. I had the three course lunch menu which was filling and very satisfying. My luncheon guest was also very impressed. Amuse is definitely on my list of top restaurants for lunch in Dublin. I'm looking forward to coming back very soon.

Our first lunch out in a long time and I'm delighted to have chosen Amuse. The food was delicious and the service was professional and not too overbearing. It was not overly busy for Friday lunch so we had a lovely quiet table with plenty of time to enjoy the delicious food

Sensational food. Adore the Toyko to Paris themed menu. Exquisite Michelin style plates. We did all 9 and each was as incredible as the last. The wine was off the charts too & staff were excellent. Knowledgeable, helpful and super friendly. Will 💯 be back

Great food and service! My wife and I got the 9 course tasting menu. We were both very surprised at the quality of the food and the wine pairings. I had better food here than many 1 and 2 Michelin star restaurants. Definitely a must, if you're in the area.

Really impressed. Darren our host was professional and made the meal even better. Friendly without being stiff, he is a big asset to the restaurant.
Food was amazing, an explosion of flavors in each course and bite. It beats the greenhouse for me which was our favorite.
Great desert and coffee afte 5 great courses.
No complaints - will return.

The restaurant is a peaceful oasis. They space out the tables and arrivals so it is like having your own private dining room. The service was impeccable from start to finish. We did the 5 course tasting and each dish including the amuse buche was simply amazing. In addition to wonderful flavours, the presentation adds greatly to the enjoyment. We did the wine pairing and enjoyed some outstanding pairings. They are quite generous with the pours. We ended with cheese plates. A splurge but worth every penny.

I am not sure that the restaurant will like what I am about to reveal: They are a French / Japanese oriented restaurant. Which means lots of fish, which I do not like. So I asked if they could do a 5 course non fish / non seafood meal.
They did. And WHOW ,.... It was superb.
The plates were a joy to receive, view and taste!

Both the official menu as well as my special non Fish treat are worth selecting!

The restaurant is a hidden treasure.

I can only say, go !

Service and ambiance was perfect, nothing to reproach there.
Unfortunately the food wasn't as good as I expected. I am picky when it comes to food so maybe that's the reason. Food looked good, looked amazing on the plates just the tast wasn't at all what i expected.
I would definitely recommend the atmosphere, is quiet and relaxing.

Lovely food and superb service. Set menu for lunch is quite delightful and good value. Nice wine list though really overpriced, in my view. Super service whilst being a nice Dublin bloke, who put us at our ease whilst serving us with the impeccability of a haute cuisine restaurant.

Be good to visit in an evening to check out the ambiance. We were alone for a good deal of the time we were there, not a big issue

Loved the funky dish ware too

The service was outstanding, however I have paid for better quality food and overall ambiance. I was expecting a little but more formalism.
