Amaro Bistro is one of our favorite restaurants. We always have a good meal with great service. Their cocktails are very good with a nice selection on their special menu. I really like the Rosa with violet and rose - it is lavender in color and tastes like how the flowers smell. Our party had the house made gnocchi, linguine de mare made with fresh pasta and filetto di manzo (beef tenderloin steak topped with gorganzola) which were all excellent. If you have any room left, try their cheese cake. It is one of the best in town.

Great food, had a good bottle of wine as well. The Tuscan grilled bread was really good.
Very noisy though!

The food was fresh and well prepared and seasoned. Service was good. We will certainly go back (this was our 1st visit), although the high noise levels bothered us somewhat.

The food was amazing and service excellent! We had the grilled pork chop and the halibut special. In both cases the meat/fish was perfectly cooked and had great flavor. The vegetables were also done well and complimented the meal. We're definitely returning to work our way through the menu!

My friend and I went out to Amaro for an evening to catch up with each other. We had a lovely time. The food and the service were excellent! It was a bit noisy but not too bad. The food selection was great and so were the drinks. I have been to Amaro 2 times previously and our meals have always been delicious. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

We both got the lunch 16$ prawns and Gorgonzola salad the salad was so small and uninteresting... pretty shocked to see how little it was it look like a side salad... hardly had any chopped chicken in it at all... prawns were good.. Service was extremely slow sat with our salad plates in front of us for half an hour.. no refill on my ice tea.. dessert was good got the flourless chocolate cake.. but it too was a small serving...

We love the Happy Hour menu in the bar, but we ate in the dining room the night before Father’s Day.

We requested Zach because we’ve had exceptional service by him once before. He’s proactive, bringing clean plates or glasses before you even think you need them - he’s always a step ahead. We loved his wine recommendations. He’s a real pro with a warm personality.

Our appetizers were the shrimp dish and bruschetta and both were perfect. The rigatoni bolognese, chicken dish and special with morel mushrooms were outstanding. We tried the hazelnut gelato and cheesecake with our cappuccinos and loved them.

The food and service were top-notch and made for a great evening. Can’t wait to come back!

The food was great, with a good variety of menu items and a nice selection of wines. The halibut was fresh and beautifully prepared. Great service complemented the food. It’s pretty noisy, though, making it hard for some to hear. I would definitely go back for another nice evening out.

Business lunch- food was average- expected more flavor and better preparation. We had salads with added protein- I added chicken and my colleague added prawns. The chicken and prawns were precooked and a bit rubbery. The salads were nice enough but we expected the added meat / seafood to be better prepared as it cost quite a bit to add. Server was inexperienced and nervous- nice fellow maybe some on job training with experienced server would help.

We eat at Amaro every month or so. This time we were very disappointed. The thin crust pepperoni pizza and the margarita pizza were both underdone. The margarita was without flavor. We had a great waiter, though. He was really excellent.

Went with friends.
Started with some very nice calamari in a marinara type base along with delicious Brussels sprouts. The portions were good sized, but we ate every bit hoping we have saved enough room for dinner.
Everyone ordered the halibut and we all loved it. One gluten free-they made the dish for her without noodles-substituted with more of the vegetables and the tasty pesto that came with the regular orders.

Dessert! A must here. Lemon curd topped cheese cake was super creamy. We had that and a nice kind of apple pie type dish. One order of each and we split it four ways. Very pleasant way to end the meal.
Four dinners, a bottle of wine, outstanding service, appetizers and dessert came to $230 + my 30 tip. I look forward to coming back again- recommend highly!
