Waitress was friendly, but didn’t check on us very often. The cocktails and fries were delicious. Very nice ambiance!

Cool spot. We ordered the burgers and asked for medium however, most all of our burgers were at least medium well. Besides that the service was good and the prices were fair. The rooftop was closed which was the reason I booked the place for my friends birthday and there was no mention of that until we got there.

Food was good, but service and wait time for the food was not great at all. We waited at least 45 min for our food, which was a pasta dish and flatbread pizza.

Food was really just OK. Grilled cheese burnt.

This is a lovely rooftop restaurant with beautiful views of the city. The food was very good and our waitress was friendly and attentive. The only issue we had was that the food was extremely slow to arrive. Fortunately we weren't going anywhere after dinner, and enjoyed the extra time with each other. I highly recommend.

Excellent in every way! Steaks were done to perfection, and the shrimp cocktail was a perfect starter. A must try in downtown Lancaster

The meal was delicious and very well prepared. Service was slow. So slow that our waiter recommended we do not order dessert because there was “no telling how long we’d have to wait” ... for a slice of cheesecake. I would still return because slow service is understandable under these conditions.

Altana was fantastic. Although skies were overcast, the views were still beautiful and the views were fantastic. My only regret was not getting chicken on my market salad because it was the prettiest and most delicious salad I have had in quite some time.

My wife and I are in our 70s and highly appreciate good food, atmosphere and good service. We anticipated average food, but were impressed; the service was good and the overlook of Lancaster is always enjoyable. We encourage our friends to enjoy dinner or a drink and an appetizer.
The metal chairs should have cushions for a bit more comfort.

This was our 2nd time at Altana. Since we don't live in the city, we enjoy being up high, being able to take it all in. The food was terrific; I had scallops and I find that many places don't know how to make them. The chef at Altana had them spot-on, and the mushroom "gravy" that accompanied them was very tasty.

Beautiful fall evening in Lancaster City! Food was great! Our waitress was attentive, friendly and met all our needs! Definitely going back! Being a nurse, they did a great job with COVID precautions!!

A perfect outside dining spot with rooftop views of downtown’s courthouse, Greist building, and steeples. Excellent food and nicely presented, good beer and wine choices. We will return with friends...or just the two of us. Try it!

Lovely staff, very friendly and polite. Beautiful outdoor area. Food took a while and was so-so but overall a decent night in a lovely spot. I think everywhere is feeling the effect of limited menus and difficulties due to the pandemic.

Food and service was excellent. Drinks were a bit over priced. Beautiful ambience. We will be back.

No vegan options so we couldn’t eat anything but had to order food to get a drink. Very cute place wish there were some veg options. Drinks were good!

I am confident rating this establishment 4.5 out of 5. The reservation process was seamless, parking on a Saturday evening was ample, and the establishment is well appointed. The ground level lobby host was not at all friendly...not unfriendly but certainly not welcoming.
The hostess at the roof top level was everything you expect and more, friendly, accommodating and on her game. The service was friendly and attentive. The cocktails were delicious and the food was presented beautifully and tasted amazing. Portions are on the side of generous.
We will go back soon.

We had a reservation and were seated right away. The server was very nice but seems to have been new. We did not get the food we ordered but he quickly fixed the issue and got us what we ordered as soon as he could. We also didn’t get the dipping sauce for our fries that we asked for twice. I had been here once before and enjoyed my experience but this time it was lackluster. We ordered several meal items to share and a bottle of wine and weren’t informed that we couldn’t order another glass of wine unless we ordered more food until we were already full. I understand COVID has lead to different policies amongst restaurants but that would have been nice to know in advance as this differs from many other places I have dined. Beautiful rooftop ambiance.
