We centred our business around a small wine list which focuses on smaller producers, and their efforts to create beautifully crafted wines for the community around them and that abroad.
In this same manner, we aim to bring forward a venue for the area which has been just as beautifully crafted.
Above all we wish to present to Penrith our love for its wild westie ways. Our space desires to be nowhere else except here among its locals.
We hope you’ll join us for an after work drink, meals with friends, a late night snack or Vinos with the girls.
This ones all yours Penrith, We hope you love it. God knows we love you x
loved everything about it - maybe a bit too noisy ... perhaps turn the music down slightly. definitely coming back for your delicious gnocchi.
Very nice food, nice setting, good music, friendly staff.
Each time I visit Allan Grammar the food is on point, service is impeccable, with good ambiance. The quality, freshness and variety of food is the best in Penrith. The homemade pastas are so good!
Where can you find amazing food, decor and wine without having to travel to the city? Allan Grammar. Can't wait to get back. Dinner this time and definitely more wines! Perfectly balanced cocktails, wine and food. Amazing to have so close to home.
Pork crackling not enjoyable. Alcohol quite expensive
The food was expensive for what it was. My husbands steak was chewy and I thought 3 scallops for $26 was pricey.
The wine list was full of great wines however the prices were inflated and we would have bought 2 bottles for around $40-$45 rather than pay nearly $70 for one.
The service was absolutely outstanding, and probably one of the best waiters we’ve ever had.
Overall had a great experience, could not ask for better service and the food was amazing. The amostophere was relaxing and cozy. They need to change the music as we heard the same songs playing all night.
Definitely a nice chill place for a quiet friday night catch up date
My first visit. Wasn’t sure what to expect. Decor quite understated but plush. We started with a cheese plate and bottle of wine. Both excellent. Followed with a share plate of Tasmanian scallops which were gorgeous... but pricey for only three. Four would have given us two each... it was a ‘share plate’.
Staff were helpful and able to speak to the menu and wine selection. Will go again now I know ‘how it works ‘.
Incredible food with incredible service. I would highly recommend Allan Grammar.
Had a lovely dinner. Got to try some amazing food. They made something off menu for my vegan daughter. Restaurant a little loud
Feed me menu for 4 - portions size very very small and had to share. Not sold as sharing plates or deg menu. Taste 7/10 but unfortunately like others left feeling hungry :(
My wife and I had a lovely experience at Allan Grammar for our wedding anniversary. The food was exceptional and the service was outstanding. With this having been our first time, we were very grateful to have our waitress really host us for the evening and make sure we understood the menu and that we were comfortable. We did have an early reservation at 6:00pm so the restaurant was not very busy at the time, so with this in mind we thought, whilst we liked the style of music being played, the volume was slightly high. Otherwise, we would definitely recommend Allan Grammar and look at returning in the future.
You must try the "feed me" option on the menu. Make sure you get there early and have a drink at the bar, it makes an impression from the moment you walk in.
This place is a must if you love wine. All wines were chosen for me and didn’t disappoint. I’ll be heading back shortly for sure
Had a birthday dinner with some girlfriends and we absolutely loved it. Convenient location for locals meaning we don't have to travel into the city. Nice decor, cool atmosphere. Our waiter was very informative and gave us great recommendations, he was also entertainment and very charismatic. Price point was also great considering the amount of food we received - we opted for the feed me option. They were also able to cater for one of my friend's who is a vegetarian and she enjoyed her meal. I would definitely return to Allan Grammar and recommend to my friends and family.
Amazing experience at a hidden gem in Penrith. Was taken away with the amazing service and the food that kept coming from the kitchen.
Could not recommend this place enough! Will definitely be back to try out their new season menu. Thanks for such a great experience, especially for a day so special; Mother’s Day.
Didn’t cater for those not wanting a main meal. Sharing platters with cold meats/cheese and antipasto would be a much preferred option than a overpriced bread roll and one bite lamb rib. Way too pricey for a Wine Bar. Shame really because it could be so nice otherwise. Decor was lovely. Service was great. Menu needs to be reviewed.
Great food but very small portions. What was recommended probably wasn't enough for us. We weren't able to get tea and coffee after our dinner which was unusual. Lovely ambience. Good service.
Congrats - what a great night - service was spot on, food was fabulous- I seriously forgot I was in Penrith the decor .... beautiful... It felt like a swanky restaurant in Melbourne!
We Will definitely be back - my only issue was we were sitting at the middle table of the 3 near the door and it felt like we were sitting with the people next to us - they were so close we could have shared our meal.
This is such a great little find in the heart of Penrith. The fit out is top end, drinks, staff and food to match. Make sure you go and check out Allan Grammar.
I would recommend to friends with a warning it is very expensive
Firstly, customer service was above and beyond. Felt very personalised and on point. Food was impressive and delightful. Ambience was amazing. Have already referred to friends
This is the second time we have visited. First time as a couple and this time we took friends. We had their Feed Me menu and they food was delicious. The staff are amazing - we will definitely be back again soon.
