Outstanding service. Our F&B server is fantastic. She recognises me each time I eat there and remembers which wins I order each time.
We come here often for a date night and it never disappoints. Food and wine menu are amazing and highly recommend to all :)
Both the host and waitress were amazing, excellent wine and grappa suggestions.
Thank you James and the team at Agostino.
Great place to eat. Good food, service and decor. Highly recommend
Great wine list wonderful food perfect ambiance
Food was great, the only dish I could fault was the Morton bay bug pasta it was extremely salty but everything else was perfect
A must for wine lovers, Agostino's menu and sommelier knowledge made our visit a delightful occasion.
Overall service was good but Tortellini was too thick and chewy and felt the portion was small for $ value plus green salad over priced .
Fantastic service, amazing food and delicious wine list. Thanks for having us.
I brought along first timers to Agostino last night and we had a lovely evening! The food was delicious and in particular the rabbit pasta was a knockout! We also enjoyed some interesting (European) wines - an Italian Soave, and French Malbec! It is a pity that the system in place some time ago, of purchasing wine from the cellar at retail price, and then adding corkage for the restaurant, seems to have been discontinued! It was a great way of trying new wines at less onerous prices! Hopefully it may be re-instated? All in all a great evening! Thank you!
Our Italian waitress was amazing. I wish I could remember her name. She was engaging, knowledgeable & funny.
Really enjoyable night with great service, authentic, delicious Italian food and excellent wine list. A great night out.
Waitress staff were super friendly and helpful! Would recommend
Everything is always fantastic at Agostino. Beautiful food and great service.
We enjoyed the ambience, and the scallops and rabbit pasta and pumpkin and sage ravioli were excellent
Overall had a wonderful experience. The food was fresh and amazing, and really impeccable service - some of the best I’ve had!
Fabulous night at Agostino's catching up with family. Food was exceptionally good. Starters were many and delicious - I sampled stuffed zucchini flower, eggplant balls, olives, rosemary bread and burrata. All enjoyed their mains and sides - I had asparagus and prawns risotto and it was perfectly cooked. Chianti went well with the meal, and plenty of sparkling water. We will be back!
Great ‘freedom dinner’ post lockdown- happy diners!
The staff were lovely. My friend and I were thrilled to be at the first seating post lockdown. The food and wine were perfect.
Amazing wine list, food and service. We keep coming back again and again :)
What a great evening to visit Agostino for the first time - World Cup eve. We knew the Italians had won even before they had touched the pitch with their boots when we sat at the marble table set in the stylish, simple and mood lit ground floor.
(Note: the ceiling detail which is elegantly cheeky but very clever)
Although there was a large party that needed a lot of attention in the cellar, we were equally spoilt with service that provided thickly accented descriptions of the food, making ordering much easier and suited to our pallets.
BEST prosciutto EVER - salted persimmon and Fritto combo -Bellisimo
BEST score of the meal - Corzetti - rabbit & marjoram - OMG
BEST Dolce - home made Vinenetta - the bomb!
Thank you The Beautiful Game for Italy winning - and thank- you Melbourne for locking us in so we could enjoy Agostino!
A comprehensive selection of food and wine culminating in an exceptional dining experience
Fabulous Italian food, definitely recommend it. Love it.
The food was not as good as what I expected . If a restaurant is promoting the business as an Italian menu , then they should be cooking food with Italian flavours. Most of the food had no flavour and lack of salt . The artichoke and the so called very watery polenta was awful . That should be removed from the menu. My Negroni drink was served in a wine glass with a huge wedge of orange . The delivery of our order was extremely slow due to the fact that the kitchen was serving the casual cafe area and the Agostino restaurant . That is very wrong .
You pay more and have much less options for a quiete dining experience but the service was awful . The portions for the pasta and risotto were entree size at main meal prices .
Delicious italian in tasteful setting, excellent service, unusual music choices
Very limited choice of main course meals, especially for vegetarians. Meals are ultra small. The food was so heavily salted that it was bordering on inedible.
Visited because of a Broadsheet article. The waitress was unable to clearly communicate with us. It was very hard to understand her. The pasta was very overpriced for the portion size.
Lovely warm welcome from staff, amazing wine menu, non-alcoholic, and food options, delicious food, excellent service, great vibe. We love this place and will be back again and again :)
A perfect place for two or group of 4. Food delicious with great friendly service. All dishes designed to share, perfect portions. Highly recommended
Such a wonderful place to settle in for a cosy meal. Food was delicious, staff attentive and welcoming. Couldn’t be happier with our experience, will definitely be back for seconds.
Papadelle Pasta was good, wine list superb, pizza bread entree was so salty and almost inedible. Service and value wasn’t impressive, fairly disappointing.
Amazing food, fantastic service Awsome Wine. Everything was delightful and will definitely return.
Brilliant dining experience.
Order the calamari!
I'd recommend they increase the choices in ice cream (currently it's 2; vanilla and cantaloupe). Where's the chocolate guys?
Food, service and ambience were great for a relaxed get together with friends. Only nitpick would be that serving size could be bigger. Would go again
What a great dining experience. The pasta was absolutely incredible and the service was amazing. Would also highly recommend the chocolate tart
Incredible food, exceptional service and lively ambience. We will be returning!
Prompt and warm greeting friendly and knowledgeable staff. No delays to order and quick delivery of our orders
Welcomed by lovely staff, amazing food, beautiful wine. Will most certainly be returning :)
Great service and food, a good wine list just a little pricey.
Lovely food and outstanding service! Perfect for special occasions.
