Nice food, nice setting. 3 savouries (2 finger sandwiches which were the same), 1 scone, 4 desserts, 1/2 fig, tiny bunch of grapes, 1 champagne, 1 tea, per person, for a total of $200 for 2 people. You can work out how much that is per item. Food came out on the one tiered stand. We were done in 50 minutes. Had to pay an extra $10 for a vegetarian meal, which substituted a ham and cheese toastie for a tiny pumpkin noisette, because everything else was vegetarian. Have never had to pay more for a vego meal before! What a rip off.

My sisters & I had a wonderful time celebrating a birthday. The woman that served us was lovely & accomodating with any requests. The food was absolutely delicious. I would love to come again. Thankyou.

Beautiful setting with glorious crockery for a high Tea experience. The food was excellent, although we should have stated earlier that we couldn't eat anything with coffee or alcohol as two cakes had coffee liqueur. The teas are all based on fruits or flowers and are amazing but it would have been nice to have a black tea offered as well. Worth a visit for the lovely setting amongst the trees.

We attended the 2023 Mothers Day high tea at Agnes High Tea Pavilion. The food quality was poor (stale sandwiches, unpopular choices such as cold prawn cups and salmon sandwiches). The service was very bad - our group was not acknowledged for about 10 minutes while waiting for a table, we had to ask for tea multiple times before receiving any, no explanation about what foods were served or offer of drink options. One of the staff serving our group was dismissive (told us she was unable to get our tea as she had too much to do first, and yet was then re-setting a table for a group that arrived 30 minutes after that) and very passive aggressive at the end (we politely asked for a takeaway container and then corrected it to two containers and she sneered back “or is it 3, or 4, or would you like 5?”). We attended this event last year where it was much better but after this experience I wouldn’t bother going back and would definitely suggest others not go.

We were so excited and looking forward to our special Mothers Day High Tea. Unfortunately we were let down, it was extremely unorganised, the sandwiches were stale, our prawns were frozen, our chicken pastry was cold and we didn’t even receive a cup of tea. We asked twice for tea and we’re told they would get back to us with the options but never came.

We had high hopes from the stunning photos of the high tea online that we booked in advance and paid the extra for the cocktails, when we arrived we absolutely loved the styling of the tea room but then it went down hill from there. The food was beyond disappointing, nothing like the beautiful photos. It was bland and boring not how a high tea should be. The cocktails where huge and we would of preferred more smaller, tasting style cocktails to pair with the food. We had to ask for some tea and milk which for a high tea is a little strange. Not worth the money but love the style/vibe of the venue.

Highly recommend. We had a lovely morning. The food was delicious and our waiter was friendly and efficient without being intrusive. The pavilion is light and airy and rhe tables are beautifully laid out.

The venue was stunning however the lack of staff meant we were waiting over an hour and a half for any food and when it did come, the cakes were rubbery, there was an over load of seafood and vegetarian sandwiches and no hot food. We asked for a drink 3 times over the 2 hours we were there and still never got it. The idea is great however the execution needs some work. Changing the menu to have small hot food and finding a different supplier for the cakes would be a good addition.

What a charming tea room. From the out of the ordinary china to the rich history shared by wait staff, Agnes’ tea room was a delight. The selection of food and the quality was outstanding. Not to mention there was enough to feed four people. So happy we went there, great value for money.

Agnes Tea Room welcomes guests with beautiful table settings, lovely staff. However the room is a little cold, we visited on a wet afternoon, seems more of a summer room, could benefit from a few cushions on seats for warmth and comfort. The plentiful food seems to come from the adjacent cafe, little is prepared just for high tea, this is a downfall. High Tea is finger food, a knife and fork should not be required. A little less food, lower cost could encourage visitors to return. An important add on, our waitress had to give a story about the room, it was lengthy, much better to have that in a leaflet on table so guests aren’t forced to sit through a history lesson on arrival. They are trying hard but a few tweaks are needed.

We were seated and then were left for 25 minutes. We called someone over who then told us the history of Agnes. She then offered us cordial but then never came back with it (15 mins passed). We called someone over and asked for our drink. We were really confused with what was going on. No tea had been offered. We didn't know what drinks we could order or what was happening with food. It was just really confusing. The food on the tiered plates were lovely as was the drink. Beautiful venue.

Felt the mothers day high Tea was wat over priced the booking also said complimentary flowers for mom on the day which did not happen. Amazing selection of teas but then you only allowed one pot per table. Food was great service was great but felt that I overpaid for the food and did not get everything that was promised including the flowers

Special visit from Canada with our children and grandchildren in Australia. 1st experience attending a high tea. Lovely ambiance and incredible service. Only one suggestion is to listen attentively when one asks for vegan and dairy free options. Unfortunately we received meat products and could not eat items. Other than this it was a lovely event, food tasted great and presentation was lovely. Not worth $65 per person given the extent of meals.

Absolutely loved the high tea at Murray’s Brewery, the owner looked after us and was so passionate about everything she was doing! Gorgeous venue perfect for a baby or bridal shower and on a hot summers day I recommend a drink and pizza out on a picnic table was an incredible venue all round!

I booked a high tea for my partners birthday and it was our first time at the Pavilion. We were pleasantly surprised. The decor is lovely. The plates, cutlery and tea cup sets were also a point of intrigue that helped give a good vibe for our high tea experience. Now onto the food! It was an amazing assortment of finger sandwich’s, wraps and tarts and this was only one layer of the high tea tower. The desserts were also top notch. The high tea was complimented by an assortment of locally sourced teas(I can highly recommend the Bush Mint) as well as “cordial” options(Strawberry & Rose was quite tasty). We thought we would easily devour the tower between the two of us but we fell short of the goal and ended up with a beautifully presented take home box to finish everything off later on. The service was impeccable with the right balance of checking in and leaving us to sample the goods on offer. Highly recommend this experience and we will definitely return in the future.
