Afternoon Teas at Ocean Bleu

Very enjoyable afternoon tea. Service was excellent with good attention to detail. Only minor issue in that pots of tea only had one tea bag each so was weak. Choice if teas would have been a good addition to the menu. Cakes were delicious.

Upon arrival we were greeted at reception and shown through to the restaurant.
We were then shown to our prepared table and offered tea or coffee .
Our cream tea then arrived within a few minutes which consisted of a mixture of small sandwiches, 2 fruit and 2 Devon scones with cream and strawberry jam and a selection of cakes.
We were also supplied with more tea.
Overall efficient service with a smile and a tasty cream tea which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Birthday afternoon tea was delicious. only criticism I could make was that the waitress didn't tell us what we had on our cake stand - so we tucked in to find out ourselves.... delicious

Very pleasant afternoon tea to celebrate a 70th birthday. Staff helpful and attentive. Tea and coffee free flowing, with offers of refills throughout the visit. Good selection of sandwiches and able to cater for a specific need for one guest. Little disappointed with the miniature cakes but the scones were excellent (warm, soft and moreish). Grand-daughter (aged 4 ) had her own selection of goodies but not as advertised. She enjoyed the sandwiches and scone but the miniature cakes didn't appeal to her. We sat next to the 'jukebox' and were able to use the wifi connection from our phones to play our own selection of music. Staff brought out the birthday cake we supplied and sang happy birthday. A lovely afternoon with no pressure to eat up and move on! Thanks to all concerned.

Had a lovely afternoon tea with my sister via a very good value groupon voucher. Lovely food, great service and a great window seat, that was perfect for people watching. Would definitely recommend.

Really good afternoon tea in the refurbished lounge/bar. The staff were excellent and offered top up of tea without being asked. Food was attractively presented and cakes were fresh and delicious. Would recommend

Poor service- very slow - no teaspoons - sandwiches were dry and did not arrive till much later than the pot of tea. Would not go again

The afternoon tea was a gift. It was a nice experience. The food was okay and enough for two. The scones were warm and soft and delicious. The sandwiches were ok but dry edges. The salmon was my favourite . The small cakes were lovely. The teapot did not leak which is a first in my experience from restaurants all over the country. Although the cakes were bite sized I would have liked small tongs and a cake fork.

The tea the scones the sandwiches were perfect.
The small cakes had no flavour at all could do with making their own would be much better.
