Afternoon Tea at Leicester Square Kitchen
Indulge in a delicious selection of open sandwiches, a selection of pastries and fresh scones with Cornish clotted cream and strawberry preserve. All served with a choice of specialty coffees and Newby teas.
We had a lovely time at Leicester Square Kitchen, fantastic atmosphere, good food and very fancy restaurant! I'd strongly recommend the afternoon tea experience!
I had a hair in my scone, baked into the scone itself.
I got offered a glass of Prosecco but could not drink this because I am pregnant so they made a non alcoholic cocktail to apologise.
I think a discount to the bill should have been offered!
I probably won't return
Mother’s Day - wonderful food & excellent service
The food was lovely. I just wish it had been a little more private and not with people having lunch at the same time. They staff where very friendly and helpful.
After chaning its concept this place is very modern with an extremely loud music. Nothing near to what one would expect for an afternoon tea. I think they should take this option out of their menu.
The waiters were very nice and attentive, they even moved us to the hotel lobby when we asked (the music in the restaurant was so loud that you can't have a conversation at all). This is probably a good restaurant, can't comment on that part, but absolutely not suitable for an afternoon tea.
Sandwiches were dry and scones were very small, great ambience but food not good - service was a bit mismanaged cocktail and coffee came at the same time 🙁
We booked for afternoon tea & although we were early they accommodated us. The food is made fresh we were told so it did take a while for our food, some of the bread didn’t seem that fresh though & the filling was quite measly. I have been to afternoon tea in other places that have been better & cheaper but can’t fault the staff.
Birthday treat. We arrived and were told would have to wait 20+ minutes as weren’t aware we were gluten free, even though I had stated when booking through this app.
Food was okay nothing spectacular, although the gluten free cakes were really good.
It was pricey for what we got.
The atmosphere was nice with a very modern decor. Enjoyable experience with good variety of food and teas. Service was great and we believe it was good return in value.
Reasonable tea for the price but took a good 45 minutes for the food to arrive. Staff helpful and cheerful. Atmosphere good.
Booked for a late tea. They were very flexible in acommodating our group (including young kids) and we had a really nice experience.
Had a lovely afternoon tea at the Hampshire. Very relaxing enviroment, easy to chat. Staff were very attentive but not intrusive. Food good, not as fresh as you would expect but tasty nonetheless with lovely cakes. The complementary bottle of prosecco was a nice touch.
We were not rushed once we had finished and we were refilled whenever needed. Overall spent a good couple of hours here and would definitely book again.
Very expensive for what you get. Sandwiches dry and I did not get a complimentary glass of prosecco as advised. However, nice staff & surroundings, nice atmosphere and reasonably good service.
Visited for a pre theatre tea! Situated in the entrance area of the hotel with views into Leicester Square!
The device was friendly and attentive and food was delivered very quickly
The sandwiches, cakes and scones were good without being exceptional
Good options on tea and coffee’s which, are unlimited
Value acceptable as we had a complimentary bottle of prosecco otherwise a little overpriced
Certainly would visit again! Had a buzzing Tapas Bar adjacent too!
Although when we arrived they had our booking at the wrong time the staff quickly sorted it out.
Food excellent and no pressure to leave when we had finished the tea. Stayed on for evening drinks too.
A wonderful afternoon tea with a glass of delicious prosecco. The staff were very efficient and friendly and at the same time doing their job very professionally in the background. I thoroughly recommend this location for afternoon tea. Very reasonable price for this central London location.
We went there for a afternoon tea,the hotel location is great . the restaurant space is nice and comfortable , also it is quite enough for us to talk. Food was good and staffs were very friendly! Recommend it!
Lovely, food was great... so much to eat, didn’t leave hungry!
