Loved it. Great food, good service timing and our waiter was lovely and interested. can't wait until it opens again.
Food is fresh is spectacular, ambience is so fine, service is excellent, definitely going back.
Great food service needs sprucing up attention to detail and cleanliness was lacking.
Can someone please check rest rooms occasionally?!!!
I have been twice already the food is delicious, fresh, prompt and friendly staff.
As first-time diners we really enjoyed Acre. The food and service was very good. Luke was an excellent waiter. We dined with two friends and found the ambience was most suitable for conversation. We thoroughly enjoyed our night and would not hesitate in returning for another pleasant dining experience.
A lovely place for a luncheon. Food & service good .. ..thought the drinks were a little overpriced especially for lunch. I would recommend to friends & family.
We had a wonderful night catching up with friends - sharing delicious food, paired with fabulous wine. I have eaten here before whereas the rest of the group had not and they all loved the meal. Dishes are fresh and beautifully plated. We will be back. Our server for the night was Luke and he was fabulous- attentive but not over the top.
Outstanding food and service and brilliant concept. Just a little on the expensive side.
Will definitely be back though.
Great night out! Highly recommended.. food was delicious and served in a timely manner by attentive and professional staff.
They put a candle in my husband’s dessert as it was his birthday
Food, ambience and service were all fantastic. This is how real food should taste like!
Great ambiance and you can hear yourself talk. Food was delicious and service was excellent.
Lovely venue and staff. Meals are little overpriced for what they are, but definitely worth a visit.
The restaurant was extremely noisy as well as being very smokey and our clothes wreaked of a fried kitchen! There were 4 of us and the waiter advised that the pork hock and the shoulder of lamb would serve 2 to 3 people. Unfortunately after ordering both we found that there was not enough meat for 4 people! The pork hock was sensational but the lamb was dry and did not have a lot of flavour.
Food was very tasty. Be prepared, it’s pretty much shared plates, which can be tricky with a large group and serves are not huge.
Service was excellent and our waiter very knowledgeable about dishes on the menu. The concept of the restaurant is great but the meals were disappointing. A shame as I am looking for a local venue with ambience where I can entertain interstate visitors but it just didn’t make the grade.
First visit to Acre and we loved it. Our waiter Luke was most helpful and the food was delicious. The tomato and onion tart was to die for. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming. Will definitely re-visit.
The food and drinks were amazing. So fresh and tasty. The staff were good fun.It was all so fresh that we will definitely be going back.
Great food with a healthy message. It was great to be able to walk around the gardens seeing where the food we ate came from. Definitely worth a visit. Servings are generous!
Very enjoyable meal, good service. Only negative was tables for two were very close together.
Fresh produce, beautiful views and a great sustainable restaurant, complete with roof vege garden and quail house.
We went for a special occasion and while the general atmosphere is relaxed it is certainly a place that one would go both to celebrate and for a relaxed meal. What a surprise to discover such a natural environment up on the roof. Veggies growing in abundance, strawberries cascading out of pots - and you are welcome to have a wander and snack on some fresh little tomatoes from the vine. The food was excellent, the wait staff so pleasant and knowledgeable and the locally sourced wine and ingredients added to the pleasure of knowing that we were eating in an environmentally sustainable way. I and the people we went with all plan to a return visit soon .
Our food arrived at different times and the starter was very bland. The lamb shoulder was not large so quite expensive for what you got. Good ambiance though, wonderful concept and decent sangria.
Beautiful setting with the surrounding rooftop garden and pleasantly surprised by the noise level considering the venue was full. The service was great and the food was a stand-out - beautiful produce cooked to perfection. We will be back for sure!
The salad was basic need more then just pretty lettuce. More menu choice needed. Potential overall very good especially when the view improves. Staff were very good.
We love this place , the service is great and food delicious
The banquet is worth coming here for. Generous portions of good, delicious, quality dishes.
The cafe is too busy and you can't book. The garden is sparse and not very interesting by the restaurant has a good feel. Staff are excellent and the food is good.Worth a visit
Ambience very nice
Luke our waiter was excellent gave good food advice and reliable service
Food is nice but not a lot of choice in medium range and gluten free had very limited choice.
Wine choice adequate and priced quite reasonable.
Dessert menu delicious.
Lovely out look over the gardens on the roof top
Great night, excellent waitress, good food but the steak was unavailable and we were not told about this for approximately 15 minutes. We felt was quiet disappointing otherwise it was a good night with great desserts
Great food, great space, great concept. Signage from the carpark made it fairly easy to find. Worth a walk around the veggie patches. Neat layout.
Prices were a bit expensive for us to have a full meal. We noticed many people there for the evening just to have dessert. Maybe we'll do that next time with a decaf coffee, although they'd run out of that when we ordered it. (Maybe they could duck down to the supermarket and get more next time?)
Very Good Open Plan Dining, big portions, value for money, loved our dining experience, this place and the garden is only going to be bigger and better.
We had an amazing dinner sharing a number of dishes including the delicious tomato tart and chicken ribs. Full of flavour, great portion sizes. The soufflé was melt in the mouth wonderful. The setting was relaxed casual with families and couples sharing the space.
Service was prompt. The food matched the price but some room for improvement. The eating area was fairly noisy. If your looking for a quiet intimate setting this restaurant isn’t for you but still a decent experience.
Valentines dinner was a delight at acre what a hidden gem the service was prompt and friendly and the food was very fresh and tasty as they grow a lot of the produce just outside the restaurant . Myself and my fiancee will definitely eat there again I would recommend this restaurant in a unique setting.
A gastronomic delight further enhanced with fresh produce from the garden, literally! Healthy choices made with love 💔 Relaxing, light filled space and friendly, attentive staff.I will definitely be returning to try more from the menu. 🥕 🍅 🌿 🧅 🐠 🥔 🍓
We ordered the roast chicken for two and it was a lot to eat. Could probably have fed three people. Anyway, it was delicious
Sooo expensive for what we got, food had barely any flavour. The staff were not helpful or welcoming. It honestly felt like I was a burden on them being there.
We had a party of 21 for a celebratory birthday and Claire from Acre Farm was so helpful and accommodating through the planning, I knew it would be a lovely day. It was even better than I had hoped! The set menu meal was totally delicious, well balanced and plentiful. The staff were helpful and attentive and although the restaurant was full we had plenty of space. Everyone loved it and I am sure you will see all 21 of them again and with their friends. Thanks for a memorable event.
The Acre restaurant space was very open and filled with natural light. Very pleasant atmosphere to relax and have lunch. Food was very tasty and dishes were listed under the headings of 'small', 'medium' and 'large' which was really helpful and allowed you to order according to how hungry you were. Good choices available for vegetarian diners. I would definitely go back to this restaurant again!
