Welcome to Aces! We’re a venue that speaks to the popularity of italian food. our modernised dining space combines classic old-school touches with an 80s bar, along with a nod to one of Adelaide’s most iconic precincts, Chinatown. Aces has a rich 30-year history; its original site was the local hangout for some of Adelaide central market’s most famous families and traders. Our evolving story has just become a lot more fun with our new multi-level hospitality venue. Our ground-level contemporary dining speaks to the popularity of italian food. It’s reminiscent of the way things were, but with a little extra spark, a little extra radiance, along with its old-school showmanship. Renzo Bar, located on level one, offers more of that upbeat fanfare, with its nostalgic glamour giving our weekend audience exactly what Aces is now known for – late-night cocktails and party vibes. As the night grows, so does the venue’s appetite for musical nostalgia.

    A beautiful restaurant, lovely ambience. We had a wonderful staff member serving us. However, Lobster ravioli was barely warm, kingfish sashimi was too thick for sashimi and lacked flavours. Zucchini salad was underwhelming, needed more flavour. Beef ragu was absolutely delicious as the beef carpaccio. For a high price point restaurant I guess I just expected a bit more flavour wise.

    Food is good, but tortellini is too expensive for 7 pieces. The staff said the mains were made to share, but definitely not true. Service is good too, but we felt a bit pressure to order as they came all the time to ask if we were ready to order. We like restaurant that provides good service but give us some time to make decisions and enjoy dinner.

    Pretty good, the interior design alone is worth a visit. The food was pretty nice but have definitely had nicer pasta in my life.

    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had an amazing dining experience at Aces. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was inviting and cozy. The staff were attentive and friendly, making me feel right at home. The standout dishes for me were the Lobster Ravioli and Pistachio Semifreddo. The Lobster Ravioli was cooked to perfection, with a delicious creamy sauce that had me craving more. And the Pistachio Semifreddo was a delightful ending to my meal - it was rich, creamy, and had the perfect balance of sweetness. Overall, I highly recommend Aces to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience in Adelaide. I can't wait to come back and try more of their amazing dishes. Thank you to the chef and staff for a wonderful evening!
