Very nice place, excellent food and the service was wonderful.
Note: I think they should put Hand sanitizer dispensers at the entrance of the restaurant.
Poor food, small portions, very disappointing. Also very long walk to get there and confusing directions- directed in the wrong direction by one of your employees.
Everything was perfect. Great service! Good food
Overall a very pleasant experience. We had ceviche, special aged steak with sweet potatoes and mushrooms. All tasted very good. Desert was amazing - churros with 3 sauces. Loved it. Impressive wine list and the light show was great of course. Ambiance and service was great too. We were the only ones with kids as far as I remember and although they don't have a kids menu they were very nice to point our a few things that will be more kid friendly. Definitely will be back.
No problem with the quality of the food. Service could be improved by automatically changing utensils and plates when entrées are served in sequential interval. Also utensils in plate being shared to avoid dipping with personal utensils.
At least should ask if desired.
Went for the rib eye that they “apparently took off the menu the day before” so that was a bit disappointing. Their on line menu was not updated. Everyone’s food was good (tenderloin, skirt steak, beef rib, scallops) but the hummus appetizer doesn’t come with enough toast to finish it and they charge another $3 for a few more pieces of toast? Come on! The food was overpriced so we felt that was a bit ridiculous. Service was good - very attentive. The setting is nice overlooking the pool area. Be prepared to spend $$$$.
Wonderful experience. One of our favorite dining spots in Hollywood.
Food was adequate, not outstanding. Service poor. Maybe my expectations are high but I expect dinner for two can be served simultaneously, not more than 5 minutes apart. And I don't expect to have to chase a waiter for water, etc. And this was when the restaurant was only at 80% capacity.
So disappointed the Nigerian shrimp appetizer is gone!!!
Lovely restaurant and for the most part the food was great, but the wagyu skirt steak was chewy and not at all nice.
The server left it in our bill and we asked to remove it.
We had a hard time getting our servers attention and had to ask twice for our appetizer and the we were charged twice for one appetizer.
This is not what you expect from this type of restaurant.
The fish and ribeye was delicious.
Amazing food! The scallops were my favorite. Absolutely delicious.
Very good. Nice room. Attentive service.
Amazing flavors in each dish. We really loved the fish appetizer. The cheese bread before the meal is so delicious. Try the Grove cocktail... so good! Our waiter was very engaging and informative. Great for a date night!
Excellent meal with a neat view of the guitar especially during the light show and outstanding service.
Favorite restaurant 😊
What an awesome night with my daughter! Danielle made our experience at Abiaka even better. The Gable craft cocktails are a must! The lobster salad was the best salad ever as was the grilled avocado. With those 2 starters, sharing an entrée worked perfectly - I would have preferred the fish dishes but my daughter wanted the skirt steak. She said it was one of the best steaks she has ever had. We also shared the sweet potato side which had a smoky overtone. The night was a bit pricey but overall worth it. I would definitely go back and the lobster salad would be a repeat along with the grilled avocado.
I enjoyed my dinner at Abiaka. I started with the Hush Puppies. And I had the halibut as my entree. There was a nice presentation with my halibut. I sat by the window and had a great view of the Guitar Tower. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Beautiful place, good service. I selected this place to view the Light show at Hard Rock Guitar Hotel but when requested from the menu the Grilled Whole Fish, the Halibut fish and the Joyce Farms Chicken the waitress explained to us that they didn't have those dishes that night on the menu, Incredible!!!!
The food is just not good here. We got scallops, jumbo shrimp, the mushrooms, bok choy and an appetizer. The only thing I enjoyed was the salad garnish with the scallops and the bread. Even our dirty martinis were really gross, they weren't normal and tasted like vodka with some strange mixer. So we asked for more olive juice and it wasn't olive juice, it wasn't tangy at all. We later went to the bar at the casino and got a dirty martini that was in a plastic cup but sadly it tasted a lot better than the one at Abiaka. I highly discourage anyone from going to this restaurant because of the food.
Second time since my first visit I found the bok choy a little gritty. They need to do a better job of washing it more thoroughly. I'll be there in two weeks with family. Hope they see this and fix it.
the food was excellent. we really enjoyed the food.
Abiaka is a unique restaurant in the new Hard Rock complex next to the Guitar Hotel. The food is served family style. So the whole table can share the various appetizers, entrees, and deserts. I can't say enough good things about the steak. It was cooked to perfection, very tender and cut into large chunks for sharing. Window seats have a view of the pool, lagoon, and the hotel light show. Reservations are recommended.
Short rib was delicious. Ham flat bread and hush puppy aps also delicious. Servers Vladimir and his young lady assistant were GREAT!!!!!
Food, ambiance and service perfect. In addition, to be able to have a 6:30 pm reservation by the window topped it off. The 13 minute guitar light show was our view and back drop. I highly recommend asking for a window show seat. The cherry wood grill made our whole fish yellowtail snapper taste brilliant. We will return!
Liked the restaurant service and the food quality was excellent. Only negative thing is front desk. We arrived 4 at 7:30pm on Sunday night January 12 as a walk-in. We were told no tables were available for walk-ins and only reservations despite many tables available.
We left very discouraged and decided to go to another one of the new restaurants in Hard Rock Hotel. On our way out I used open table and found 9 slots available!!! Including 7:45pm which I blocked. I went back to the restaurant and mentioned the front desk that I now have a reservation through Open Table and now I was given a table. It didn’t make sense!!!
Wow! What a pleasure! What a gem!! It was the last night of our vacation and we wanted to watch the Light Show at the Guitar Hotel at the Seminole Hard Rock. The layout of the restaurant (with the open kitchen) was welcoming. The service was impeccable! I wish I could remember our waitress' name. She was top notch!! She explained everything, allowed us to take our time to order and enjoy each course and was so friendly!! There's so many other items on the menu we'd like to try that this is a must return when we're in the area again!
The place is very well set, nice views and great food, it seemed the they had issues keeping up with customers, so they have to do an adjustment there. Other than that, we had a great experience. We’ll come back.
Amazing restaurant with a great view of the Pool . Service was incredible, food and drinks were delicious and restaurant had a great vibe. The dessert portions are huge, so we made the mistake of each ordering one, but they were all amazing. Make sure you have reservations because the place gets packed.
Very loud. Food and service was great.
The service and food was very good. Our biggest issue was the portion size for the price paid. The theme is that all the food is shared, but the portions are really small for the price. Even the salad was skimpy for the price.
Excellent food, beautiful views, and great service. A must try!
The only reason to call it tapas is because the kitchen cannot time the items coming out correctly.
Great food, portions a bit overpriced for size. Fantastic service from hostesses and server. Beautiful Views.
Extremely overrated. The atmosphere is like a cafeteria- formica tables, uncomfortable chairs. Not a varied menu at all. We were going to eat dinner there, but we were so disappointed with the atmosphere and service that we just got appetizers and left and went and ate dinner at Council Oak. Abiaka was okay at best.
Food came at different times. Side dishes came way before main dishes!
But food was goid
Food is fab. Whole fish and scallops a must.
Overall we had an ok experience, but the food was VERY overpriced for what we got. The Prime Tenderloin reminded me of a taco bowl. The whipped potatoes that came with it were so small it was basically garnish. The cheddar garlic biscuits had NO taste and were doughy. The complimentary desert for our anniversary was appreciated, but we didn't eat it because of taste.
