Abattoir Blues is Sydney Olympic Park’s notorious, fully-licensed, boutique diner hidden away in a historic 1900’s abattoir building. Capturing the heart and soul of the Park, Abattoir Blues is a restaurant, café and bar experience worth discovering.

Our menu features high quality comfort food including specialty coffee, classic hot breakfasts, hearty lunches and a selection of fresh bakery goods – open for breakfast, lunch and dinner throughout the week.

The Pasta House by Abattoir Blues is a new and exciting night time concept started by the team here at Abattoir Blues. Our menu features fresh, handmade pasta by our head chef, and a variety of traditional and unique sauces.

We are open for all events in the park, and extend our trading hours to accommodate patrons and punters before a concert, sporting event or whatever reason you are in the park. We are the locals choice dining spot, and a hotspot for those visiting the park.

    The food was excellent and arrived very quickly. Great vegetarian options. The staff were friendly and attentive. The tables are located in very close proximity and the noise levels were very high. We had a very "boisterous" table of people immediately next to us which impacted our experience. Good for a fast lunch or a coffee but too noisy for quiet conversation or a working lunch.

    Thanks for the lovely experience. Our immediate family who all live in different parts of the State met up together for a lovely lunch in a sunny spot before watching a game of netball locally. Much appreciated. A lot better than a hotdog at the game!!

    Hidden gem in the middle of Sydney Olympic Park. Great outdoor seating, nice food, lovely staff and free live entertainment every Friday and Saturday nigh. Dogs allowed - you can even order some treats for your dog as they have a special dog menu!!! We love this place

    First time going to Abbatoir Blues and it did not disappoint! The eggs Benny was to die for! Had to go back there again the next day for another wonderful breakfast!

    Very well organised given there was a major event on at Stadium Australia with orders processed quickly and drinks and food served quickly. Excellent diverse menu choice - even allowing for the more limited Events Menu. Some tables, near the kitchen, feel a bit disconnected from main area and outside, but maybe some customers will prefer this type of ‘privacy’. Great outdoor area.

    My go to place before or after events. Predrink and a couple of share plates before the AFL. $16 for 3 arancini balls may seem a tad expensive but they are amazing ! The homemade sauce 🤌🏻

    Booked online for a late lunch. No indication that the slot offered was between sittings and we could be served only coffee for first 25 minutes. Also no mention that only the limited “event” menu would be available. Disappointing! Food OK.

    It was a nice cafe, I wouldn’t say the menu was inspired. The food was average my partner had the burger which was nice, I had the pasta which was over cooked, although the texture of the pasta was perfect and it was yummy just a little over cooked.

    We had a table booked for 6 o’clock and had ordered our door by 6.10. Drinks came out 40 mins later and we had to cancel our food order by 7pm as we had a show to watch at 7.30. We were told to be patient however we had ordered the cold meats which required no cooking so not sure why we were told to be patient. Would not even consider going back

    We booked for four people and were greeted with a smile and a bottle of water. Ordered via the app which was convenient but asking for a tip was a bit rich as the prices were high. Table was unstable and small for four adults. Food was good but mains came out before entrees. It was an events menu so food was pre - prepared. Drinks prices were good and came out quickly.

    Malone, Friday 21 for 10 people Everyone enjoyed the food. the Lasagne was particularly good. What some of us didn't like was the ordering scenario. Whilst we are all are computer literate, none of us like having to order from phones or ipads. If we went back there I would like to see some hard copies (paper menus) please. It should be no effort for you to have some available and offer the option. Overall, an enjoyable night. Kind regards Marian Malone

    The falafel nourish bowl was delicious. The staff were kind. So much character at this cafe — the architecture, the decor, the music and the plants nearby.

We have been undergoing some training of new staff and as a result, had to switch off the cocktails on this date. I'm sorry your experience at our establishment was affected.     After walking around checking out the other food venues we decided on Abattoir Blue for the outside ambience of the old building and the mosaic tiles. Service was extremely excellent, beer ice cold and the food excellent and good value. Highly recommend this place.
