202 Social House

Food was cold…
Tomato soup (signature) was Luke warm and came with dinner.
Cute place, great area, not a place for a meal, snacks and sandwiches might be there thing
Food was delicious and our server did a great job. The only disappointment was that they had a limited menu, not the menu we saw online before we arrived. They said they were short staffed.
The dip and wings were cold.
One meal came out after all others were finished eating.
Our waitress was also the bartender so I had to go to bar to even get my bill or to ask for anything.
The flare gun was really distracting but the service and food was great.
We really enjoyed our meal and were provided a table that allowed us to work while eating. Thanks!
Service was sluggish. Portion of food was small for entree. It was hard to hear with our table of 6; it would be even louder in a full capacity/non Covid environment. I am not sure if this place wants to be a sports bar or a restaurant with decent food. Right now they are really neither.
It’s a nice looking restaurant with a good bar. The food is less than average (we had entrees and an appetizer). The service was not very good. Not a place that we would return to.
Fun but food was too expensive for what you where given
Went here in years past for valentines day dinner when they had a nicer menu, with three coarse meals special menu, which was great in the speakeasy room. This year they only had the regular menu (high class bar food with 4 nice dishes) and only had the option to sit in the front room with opening and closing doors with cold drafts the whole dinner, even though we reserved 3 weeks ahead of the dinner. I was just planning on a nicer menu for this day and to walk us to the table, not point. Don't get me wrong the waiter was really nice and there was a free rose, I just wish they planned a little more on seating and menu if I'm going to pay 20 plus dollars a dish on this day.
Not the beer selection advertised
New server but she was excellent. Food was nothing special. Wings and flatbread were underdone. Overall just ok.
I have been to this establishment multiple times for brunch lunch and dinner so when I was planning my work holiday party I chose here instantly. I made reservations online and confirmed in person (although there seemed to be some confusion in finding it they eventually did see my reservation and let me know I was all set) our party showed up @620 for our 630 reservation. We were not seated until 645. Fine As it was busy. A waiter finally made his way over to let us know he would be taking care of us but was also helping a party of 15 in another room -an indicator to how the rest of the night unfolded. He came back after 10 minutes to get our orders. At this time we had decided on our meals and ordered drinks and food. We waited another 10 minutes before a member from the party went up to the hostess asking where our waiter was we hadn’t even been given waters. She grabbed silverware and gave them to us. Another 5 minutes and most of our drinks were arriving. The waiter stated the beer I ordered was no longer available but 2 minutes later he came over with it. He also didn’t remember who ordered what and almost gave a beer to a 13 year old. Her mom ordered a beer and had to remind the waiter multiple times that she was still waiting on her beer. It showed up right before our meals were delivered, a near hour since we had gotten there. 4 of the 7 dinners were delivered by a kitchen staff member and asked if the other 3 members in our party had ordered food as they were just helping deliver. The food was delicious and correct but our party was incredibly frustrated. The only time the waiter seemed to be attentive was when checks came and he stood there waiting for us to all review our receipts and pay. Overall completely disappointed in our experience, which was a first and unfortunately last time for some of those who attended. I do not recommend for larger parties or for busy times that the staff clearly can’t handle. I do enjoy the food and atmosphere.
Exceptional service. Our waiter was attentive, responsive and friendly!
Food was excellent. Server was attentive and had moderate knowledge of the drink menu. A lot that she hadn’t tried so insight to try something new was limited. Cool place and I would recommend.
Enjoyed a birthday celebration there.
Menu was not as listed on open table. Very limited for a Saturday lunch! Not impressed...
Service was slower than usual. Food came out & plate was hotter than the food.
Always a winner. I've only had bar food but it's been excellent.
Brunch here is amazing! The ambience is great.. the food was amazing and the staff is so nice. Definitely check this place out if you’re in downtown.
Mother’s Day. Food was great. Service was good for the crowd that all came in together. Highly recommend chicken and waffles for brunch!
We had a girls night out in the wine room for dinner before going to Mill Mountain Theatre. The service and food were fantastic. Very pleased with this restaurant and will definitely be back. Linguine and meatballs was excellent. Good wine. Nice staff. A new favorite restaurant!
I would just suggest turning the tv off in the speak easy. It's so cozy!
The food was quite good and the atmosphere was excellent in the back room, however the wait for our food was long and the waiter only filled our drinks after they sat empty for a significant amount of time.
everything was great
The service was slow unacceptable. The food was not cooked. The pasta was hard
Very little sauce asked to bring more never did. Brought one desert out after 15 min. Asked for . We were told by a manager she was sorry but not a voucher to come back. Will never eat there again.
Food was disappointing. Both main dishes were bland. Appetizer's were better than main course. Desserts we're good.
Ate here during restaurant week and the meal was EXCELLENT especially for the price. The chicken florentine was tasty and the portions generous. Loved the chocolate chess pie for desert. My companions had the creme brûlée which was good but a little runny. We ate early prior to theatre so may have not had time to completely set. Would definitely go back and try the full menu.
Great brunch menu with multiple options. Multiple TV screens covering all sports.
It was our first time and we really enjoyed it. We had a great view of Market Square and everyone out shopping in the Christmas market. The food was wonderful as was the wine and beer selections. We’ll definitely be going back.
Reservation was jacked up as our table in the Dinning area was given to another party. Hostess did her best to accommodate us in the Tavern area instead and comped our party two appetizers. Food and drinks were very good along with good service. Despite the inconvenience and higher noise level in the Tavern area we would come back for another dinner in the Dinning area.
Seating in the Italian room was excellent. Nice room with a more private dining. Good wine selection and get Italian food. Would be sure to go again.
Ambiance and noise levels were fine, but the menu was very limited and $18 for a bowl full of ravioli with no side salad or anything else to add to the dining experience seemed a bit lacking. The server was attentive but untrained and knew not what was expected of him. Poor presentation and execution.
Excellent service and great food. The pasta could have been hotter but overall great experience.
Enjoyed our celebration at 202. However we had made a reservation through open table, even called the day before to adjust numbers and when we got there the host/hostess acted like they didn't know they had a reservation that morning - they had to quickly pull tables together. It was a little awkward with our whole group standing there. Waitress did a good job once she got started.
Service was great - food was good. Overall ambiance was nice, but the dining room was so full of fruit flies it drove us crazy. We observed the same issue at other neighboring guest tables as well. Aside from the buggy nuisance it was a positive experience. They need to take care of the bugs.
food was pretty awful, but the service was good! good ambiance... the food was just terrible though
202 Social House is trying hard to relegate a troublesome past to history, and the effort seems largely successful. Our food was excellent, the service friendly and attentive, and the dining room off the bar area quiet and perfect for conversation. We will definitely return.
