Update: the owner reached out privately to apologize about the filet mignon and provide me a credit. In addition, he shared a gift card so we can try 103 Prime again. We will be back to try again and hope the experience will be better!
Wanted to try out 103 Prime as it’s a nice ambiance and modern feel. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre. My mom ordered a filet mignon which was a la carte so she was hoping for something delicious. It was so fatty, it was barely edible and she left most of it on the plate. When we pointed it out, the staff said “oh sorry, we will tell management.” We still had to pay for it and my mom left hungry! Management should have been at our table apologizing and offering something else, and should have taken it off the bill. A filet mignon should never be fatty either. Sadly, we won’t be back.
Excellent quality food and service, will certainly dine there again in the near future.
Food was very slow
toom nay people = I didn't eat for almost two hours
It was understaffed on a Saturday. They had too many large parties and tend to focus on them. It took over 3 hrs for dinner. Appetizer was wrong and side dish wrong. Have to wait. And was cold when arrived. The table beside us had it even worse. Management acknowledged the situation as best they could. Maybe it was freak Saturday night. The food was great once it arrived and was correct.
Food ok. Service poor. Took more than one hour from appetizer to main course. I was tempted to forget main course and just leave. Restaurant convenient to home so might come back.
Food is always good here. I've eaten here many times.
It was a Friday night so it was full and a good sign the food was outstanding the servers were buried but did a great job trying to accommodate I would definitely recommend but if you like it a bit less busy come during the week
Great Valentines dinner.
Valentine’s Day dinner one day late. We had the lobster bisque and Porterhouse for 2 - amazing!
Food and service are excellent
Great place for date night, girls dinner, and special occasions
Great dinner at 103 Prime at Valentino’s. Everyone associated with the restaurant gave us first class service from the valet to the coat check to the waiter and bus service. The food was excellent and generous without being over the top. I would definitely return again and again.
Service was almost too good to the point of feeling rushed. As soon as the appetizer was finished, entree was showing up... We go out to relax not speed dine... Menu was a little limited, but entrees were tasty. Priced on the high end - estimate about 15-25% higher than things should be.
Overall very good atmosphere and food was excellent, but for the price and the forced pace - not sure we are going back.
Everything was great, except tables for two were too close to each other. The space for the servers between tables was in personal space by the tables.
Nice dinner with co-workers. Got there around 5:30pm on Wednesday. Service was great, waiter attentive and no delays. Started getting busy around 6:15 and it got a bit more energetic. Appetizers were great. Dates with prosciutto, burrata, pine nuts and balsamic . We also had the bacon - very good.. I had the organic chicken with mashed potatoes and it was very good. Not a huge serving, but appropriate. We all enjoyed the meal and we'd go again. It's a nicer than a standard business night out - it's great food.
To be honest we were a little underwhelmed this time. We have had great experiences a few times before but this time it was very busy. It took a long time for dinner to come after appetizer round and we had empty glasses for a while. When dinner did finally come they brought the wrong order for my wife. They quickly corrected it and brought correct one but the steak was a little overcooked. The waitress was lovely and did a nice job except maybe for the drinks. She acknowledged the delay and offered a free drink or dessert but by then it was just too late in the meal and the evening and we just wanted to finish up. We like your place and will try again but this wasn’t as good as the first few times we dined.
Great food and service as usual. Great atmosphere also
Wonderful as always. Great food and service.
Always great service & well prepared meals. Ample portions, quality over quantity I prefer. Oysters very fresh and perfectly shucked. Great grilled scallops and crabmeat cocktail. Also started with happy hour at the bar — on a Friday no less.
This place is always perfect. Love the owner who is such a gentleman!
Lovely restaurant with great menu, food and service. Veal Milanese and Eggplant Lasagna were both outstanding. A large private party in process upped the noise level for this visit but I don’t think that’s the norm. Enjoyed it so much that we made a future reservation to return before we even left the restaurant.
Terrific find! How have I missed this place in the past?
Went for New Year's eve dinner with my wife. Food is always very good but staffing was beyond understaffed and stretched. One bartender for the entire packed restaurant is absurd. She was at the bar and handled the service bar as well. Despite this the staff was very nice and don't blame them, but the owner(s) needs to be aware of staffing on busy nights. It is unfathomable on a holiday not to have the proper staffing.
not only would we -- we have many times --consistently a fine dining experience
Excellent food and service
We live locally and frequent This establishment over and over. Never had a bad meal. Never had bad service. Always a pleasure. Happy to have this restaurant as part of our local cuisine and businesses
Had Christmas Eve dinner here and the level of cuisine was exceptional. The service was very good considering that it was quite busy. Sat upstairs which was nice and felt more private. The server was very knowledgeable on the menu and was most accommodating. My wife and son had steaks cooked to perfection. I had the branzino fillet served with scallops on a bed of cauliflower puree, Excellent!
We had another fabulous dinner at Prime 103. Food and service were absolutely perfect.
We were there on a night where there were 2 parties going on. They either should have closed the restaurant that night for regular diners or should have had more staff, the service was terrible.
We had a pricey meal, steak and lobster but everything was great.
We had a great dinner with great friends during the run up to Christmas. Wait staff were busy with a private party but were as attentive as they could be. We had tuna, swordfish, salmon and steak and all were perfect. Kudos to the chef!
Valet parking was totally understaffed.
Great food and service!!!
Very welcoming. Food good. Little noisy but overall a nice place. Service superb.
Ladies holiday/birthday celebration was amazing. Fantastic wine, fried cauliflower/zucchini, buratta arugula persimmon salad and branzino. Tasty cocktails by a kind/funny bartender and excellent service by the wait staff. Thank you for a wonderful time.
Nice wine list.
It was fairly crowded at 7pm so service was a bit off. I have a feeling this was a kitchen issue, because there seemed to be a lot of servers running around.
Anyway, the food was good. Try the appetizer meatballs. They are great. We had the two entree specials -- branzini and butter nut squash raviolis. Both were good, altho the ravioli's had a bit too much liquid on the plate and the center cheese was freezing cold. Might want to serve that at room temp.
The food was good though, overall.
Delicious food, excellent service and a very nice setting.
Not cheap but worth the prices. Food and service are great.
We had a very nice dinner here on Saturday evening. Cozy ambiance, very nice menu and a very nice server. We had a bottle of Prosecco to start and followed up with 2 glasses of "Super Tuscan" red wine to drink with our steak. My husband and I split the NY strip steak, which was velvety and very tasty. The prime/aged meat was delicious. For sides we ordered the truffle oil parm. french fries and sauted rapini. Both were delicious. The seafood appetizers we both ordered were very fresh, nicely chilled and nicely presented. The prices here are quite steep! Our check came to around $215, without tip. We didn't have coffee or dessert and we selected a modestly priced wine. Most of their wines are rather expensive. It was a wonderful evening (our anniversary), but due to the cost, I would save this place for a special occasion.
