Food was very good. Service was friendly and accommodating. Free valet parking was a plus. As was the ocean view. Ambience was informal and basic.
The worst Eggplant Parmesan I ever had! Tasted like old fat.
They ran out of sparkling water and we had to use our flatware for starters and main, waitress just took dirty flatware of the plates and placed it on the table.
Question of “do you have Grappa” was answered with “what is that?”...
Great place! Amazing food! Kind of pricey, but you absolutely get what you pay for! Will come back in the summer!
Love everything about 100 Ocean. The food, the service, the atmosphere. It is romantic and comfortable.
Greg and John are the best bartenders. They are very attentive, knowledgeable, and make the best drinks.
Tony has been our waiter a couple of times and has made our dining experience pleasurable. Cody, the manager, is professional, friendly, and accommodating. All the staff seem to enjoy working here and it shows with the quality of service. From sitting at the table dining or at the bar it is an excellent place. Just steps away from the boardwalk or beach, take a stroll before or after dinner. We look forward to coming back.
Good menu and nice ambiance
The food was excellent but the service was slow and I don’t think our waitress smiled at all. That said the service wasn’t terrible and it doesn’t make me not want to go back but I think they could do better.
Great food and great service!
They ran out of Sea food
Drinks are way too expensive
Visited on a Tuesday night in January. Very quiet. The staff was attentive but not intrusive. Food was fresh and delicious.
Nice meal, great service, beautiful ambience!
Great food, awesome service and lovely atmosphere!
Great food! Will definitely be coming back
Food and service were excellent
Ambience was nice. Food was good. Service was normal. Location was great., it was overall a pretty decent experience. The only thing was that I put on open table I was there for a birthday which was not acknowledged by the server what so ever. Although the host knew.
Great dinner ,,, service ... manager just great
We came for Thanksgiving. The menu was limited obviously - a 3- course prefix menu. I was very surprised that there were no vegetarian options for the entrées. I was told I could order two starters but they would be small plates. Our waitress was wonderful and she ensured I had a nice meal for the prefix price otherwise it would have been disappointing. My dining mates loved the thanksgiving meal - outstanding they said!
The service was excellent. Food was very good. We had the skirt steak and branzino. Started with salmon poke and bean humus. The only issue we had was that midway through dinner there was an issue with the lighting. It kept getting very bright then lower then very bright again. Manager came and apologized and offered us dessert on him as compensation. Another example of the strong service.
Wow! The food was great, and the service was outstanding. We went with friends, to try this restaurant as part of the Jersey shore restaurant week. And we were blown away!
Our waiter, Tony, was very attentive, and very careful with my gluten allergy. We are looking forward to dining there again soon!
My wife, baby daughter and I came here for restaurant week. When pulling up, it’s not immediately clear that restaurant guests (in addition to hotel guests) get free valet parking, so some signage would certainly help. Signage directing people through the hotel lobby to the restaurant would also be a good idea. Great looking dining room and I’m sure the ocean view is beautiful although it was dark when we arrived. Service was ok- our server, while polite, didn’t have that much of a personality nor did he seem to have that much of a professional, polished touch that I’d expect to see in a place like this. Certainly wasn’t memorable enough for me to remember his name. Food was all very good, but a bit more salt could’ve been used on everything we ate. Skip the “wave lemonade”- super bland and not worth $6.00. All in all, a good place but not one where we’ll rush to return.
I really wanted to love this place. Had a table right by window, everyone from valet guy to hostess to waiter were extremely nice. However, service was so bad it was not even funny. The chefs in the kitchen definitely know what they're doing as food was delicious but because of the service, don't think we will be returning. Took forever to get our food and had to ask repeatedly for things.....for example, served our coffee along with sugar and milk and no spoons. Should we use our fingers to stir the coffee? Stupid things like that, which kind of annoyed me. Damn shame :(
We were in town for two days. The first night was so good we went right back. Service, ambiance, bartenders were all outstanding. As far as the food, Ribeye streaks were very good, short rib was excellent, beet salad was outstanding... There was one and only one disappointment, the black sea bass was terrible. Not OK but terrible.. Small, very fishy and very bony.
Great views, will be even more amazing when warmer and restaurant is open air
Amazing food, service and ambiance! Amanda was fabulous! We cannot wait to go back!
3.5 out of 5
So the first time I visited the restaurant my experience was below average. I reported that on Open Table and the manager was nice enough to invite us back for a comped meal to make up for it.
The second time around was definitely an upgrade from the first time . It was a 7pm reservation on a Tuesday in winter so there was no wait as we were the only ones in the restaurant.
The service was honestly above average but not great considering we were the only ones there. This time around they had the oysters which they ran out of the last time. They were delicious. The Burrata was a delicious appetizer as well! In between apps and dinner the manager gave us complimentary short rib over palenta. The short rib had decent flavor but was a little dry. (I had short rib the first time there and I said I wouldn't get that there again and that still stands ) Both entrees were delicious and all the meals are in the pics. The 2nd time around was much better than the 1st and the food was delicious. However I doubt I'd go out of my way to go there when there are so many other delicious options right around the area .

So I came here because every picture when you google this place has oysters in it. They, ran out of oysters on a 715 reservation.
Service started off bad but picked up once I asked for a waitress after waiting for 10 min.
Ginger citrus chopped salad (not pictured. I ate it too fast lol) -Delicious
Spicy tuna crispy rice - it was good. Like a tempura roll
Braised short rib
- feel like it was meat you can get anywhere around St. Patrick's day
Grilled shrimp brochette-
Pumpkin cheese cake
- very good
Hot sugared churros - kinda bland , more like a zeppolle
Server was gracious and attentive
Food was exceptional
Service was great. Loved the favs humus and our salad. Branzino was good - crispy skin but a little dry. Pumpkin cheesecake was awesome - light and fluffy.
Went for my wedding anniversary .. had a great meal ! View is excellent .. service was exceptional !
I got very sick after I left the Resturant later that night.
I believe I got a bad piece meat.
I read that the service was a bit spotty possibly due to the newness of the restaurant. However, this has changed at least in our experience. Tony was waiting tables in and outside and he still somehow had the time to be attentive. Much appreciated. We loved the Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice and lobster roll. The lobster ravioli was simple awesome with large chunks of lobster. We will be back!
Amazing food. Great ambiance
We ate outside. The night was beautiful. We ate in the dark. Buy some candles. All three courses were served in about 50 minutes. The food was good.
My friends and I ate at 100 Ocean for the second time after an underwhelming first try. Once again - we enjoyed the food but the service was abysmal. Aside from the service - the temperature was hot and sticky and several times the lights went up to the brightest then down to dark and the staff did not seem concerned.
The servers do not seem properly trained and having an inattentive wait staff is reason enough why I don’t think I’ll be back. As with a number of restaurants on the jersey shore- Management seems nonexistent.... too bad. Was really hoping to love this place.
Getaway, drinks & food are great
Will definitely be back
Spicy crunchy tuna is awesome. Everyone loved their entrees. Would highly recommend!
Didn’t realize it was a kushner property. When we saw ivanka and Jarad walk in we got sick to our stomach and wanted to leave.
Food was great, service needs some fine tuning!
Servers were nice but actual service was slow to start. Took a long time for someone to come to get out drink orders and a long time for apps, then timed badly because entrees came out while we were still eating. Servers didn’t clear app plates with all of our shells from the seafood tower, they sat there dirty throughout our whole meal. For the price point they need to up their professional game. I had the lobster rigatoni. It states it’s housemade pasta but I don’t believe it. Maybe they mean they boiled it in house because it didn’t appear as fresh pasta and that was the consensus throughout the whole table. Bronzino and sea bass were good but nothing impressive. Overall just an average dinner.
Thank you for taking the time to review 100 Ocean. We are always looking to improve where we are falling short and hearing from our guests is the best way to know where we need to focus our attention on. I will pass on the information in regards to the servers professional attitude to the rest of the management team and make sure it is a focus of ours during training. Thank you again for the feedback.
Had a fantastic visit to 100 Ocean. Had fantastic cocktails and dining on the patio was really nice with live music playing. We had the crunchy tuna appetizer which was delicious. Entrees were great and the overall service was excellent.
The food was very good and the setting and atmosphere are outstanding. The service needs improvement. Waiters are very inexperienced and need more training.
