My favorite restaurant in Chicago. Food and service are first class. Highly recommend.
The food, like my fist visit, was OUTSTANDING! The drinks delish, the sommelier was fantastic and helped us decide on a bottle that I didn’t want to finish! I just wanted it to keep replenishing itself! Our server was kind and professional and Chef Mark, just as charming as ever! Can’t wait til my next visit to Chicago to return!
Nice to dine outside on a beautiful summer night. Food and service was lovely. Great spot for an enjoyable dinner!
Promised a window table when we checked in but then they accidentally gave it to someone else. Owner offered to buy us a round of drinks to apologize but never did. Waited 10 minutes before server came by and then barely saw him during the meal. Friendly but had two private parties going on and there were no servers covering the front main portion of the dining room for most of the evening. Server brought wrong drink twice so my business guest went to bar to have corrected himself and female bartender was very rude to him. On way out, my guest asked the young man at hostess desk if he ever gets off his phone while he is at work (somewhat rude of my guest but he was so upset with service by that point he didn’t care). The young man said “not very often” and smirked at us as we left. Food is great and we have been there many times in the past and like the owner a lot but service was so bad and we were so embarrassed in front of our business guests that it would be hard for us to return. Shame since the four of us all live right in the neighborhood and like the decor and food....but service was just unacceptable.
Food ams service were great
We had a very pleasant dinner. It had the feeling of being a “local” place, not touristy. The pasta was fresh.
Very attentive service.
We had awful kitchen service but management and our server recovered pretty well. The food was average and much better Italian can be found at many other places.
Our pasta (myself and my friends) was a bit on the salty side. It was the pasta with sausage. My other two friends entrees were excellent though. I did inform our server and he was able to offer us another order which we took home. My friend still thought hers was still salty. I felt mine was better then the first one. My friends ordered coffee and wasn’t filled to the rim. But our server was excellent and ambiance. Was a bit disappointed in our pasta and my friends coffee situation since I was them one that suggested Prosecco.
Great spot, somewhat of a regular here.
Extensive wine list. The vegetarian options were plentiful and everyone at our table raved about their meals. The ambiance is quite nice, but pretty loud. We would definitely return - all the servers were knowledgeable and friendly.
We had a great time with our sweet friends while in Chicago at Prosecco! There was such an extensive wine list, and we loved the toast of Prosecco at the start of the meal. Thank you for making our night special!
Delicious dinner, fabulous service and lovely evening. Do not miss ordering the truffle pasta!
Food was SO amazing. I could bathe in a tub of their homemade pasta and their BURRATA...WOW. I have no words. Simply amazing.
We did go on a busy Saturday night, so the the service was a bit iffy and our server was pretty inattentive. We did overhear him talking about just wanting to flip tables and was frustrated we ordered 3 courses.
Overall 10/10 recommend and would DEFINITELY come back.
First time there since the remodel and it was fantastic. Food as usual was a great presentation and delicious. Thumbs up
The team at Prosecco are consummate professionals who work diligently and expertly to enhance every dining experience with their dedicated service, excellent food and commitment to the guest.
Excellent service and food. Enjoyed the bit of Proseco upon arrival. Would definitely go back
Great spot! Food was great
A little noisy but loved it overall
Get smaller portions of the pasta dishes. Try a few. Definitely worth it. Wine selection also good. Service impeccable. Asked for extra Bolognese and it was accommodated without question. Delicious way to spend an evening in Chicago.
Great neighborhood spot for some good Italian food. My girlfriends & I have a hard time going anywhere else. They always make you feel like family!
Really great food and service, but their remodel amped up the noise level and detracts from its ambiance.
This restaurant was just ok. Food felt heavy, even fish had heavy, goopy sauce. Too loud and air conditioner draft directly over our table. Would not recommend.
Prosecco is our favorite restaurant in River North!! Always delicious! Love it when Chef has the risotto with braised pot roast on the specials menu. Sam always makes us feel welcome and Chris is our favorite waiter. We were celebrating our anniversary and the service and food were awesome! Beautiful bar and dining space is upscale. The food never disappoints. Great for special occasions, dates, but the bar is great for drinks and small plates too. You don’t need a special reason to go here. Don’t miss out on a superb dining experience.
Always a treat! Food is terrific and servers have passion for food and wine list!
One of the best Italian restaurants in the city. Everything was delicious. Took clients there and they couldn’t stop raving about how good it was
Delicious food and you get a complimentary glass of house prosecco, though a little loud
Salads, starters, pastas, and second courses all well-prepared
Overall, a nice place. However, the food was simply average and you can probably get a better experience for the money elsewhere.
One of our favorite restaurants. The food, service and overall ambiance is spectacular. We love love Mark, Sam, Christian and the rest of the team are simply wonderful!!!
I was by myself and encouraged to sit at the bar, although I had a reservation. I wish I had sat at a table. Delicious food, good service but very loud and dark.
Excellent restaurant! Food, service, and ambiance were all outstanding.
The food and wine selection was amazing. I was celebrating my birthday but the place was so loud I couldn’t enjoy a birthday dinner with my boyfriend. The food was amazing! The flourless chocolate cake is a dream.
My birthday I love the owner and our food and service it was amazing .. thank you !!!
We waited extremely long for our food! Our food was good, but some things were a little expensive...$14 for a small salad with my dinner!
Trader Joe’s burrata for 18$ but you only get half of one!
Cutlery is similar to Cheesecake Factory, they are all scratched and cheap quality. The server that bring out the food has obviously no idea how to serve; he asked me if I can pass him my wine glass when I said I’m not having any!
TV screens by the bar? At an Italian restaurant? Felt like being in bar at some point.
The food was okay. Not great not bad.
Please save your money and your time.
The food is delicious! I wish we weren't just visiting because I would eat here weekly. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the service is on point. I can't say enough good things about this gem of a restaurant.
Very pleasant dining experience and everything was fresh and tasty and I would recommend for everyone to try this place at least once.
Overall good. Intended to have a meal, but realized wasn’t that hungry after appetizers and drinks. Seemed to have upset the server.
Went there for dinner on a Friday evening, and had a great experience. We had made a reservation, and so we did not have to wait. Our server was extremely nice and attentive. The food was fantastic. I ordered the Pesce Bianco, which was incredible. Highly recommend this place, and will definitely be back.
Amazing food and service! Waiter was so friendly and we will definitely be coming back!
