Prix Fixe Brasserie
Our first visit to the restaurant. We had the pre theatre meal. All the food was excellent and well presented. Lots of choice on the menu. We feel the service could have been a little faster. The restaurant was all but empty when we arrived but each course took some time to arrive. The rather leisurely pace meant that we decided not to stop for dessert or a coffee to ensure we got to the theatre on time. Overall, well worth visiting but make sure you build in extra time if you are going to the theatre!
Excellent food and service. We enjoyed our first time at this restaurant so much that when we came to see another play we decided to come here again. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Excellent food. Air conditioning or something would help in hot weather as it was warm inside but I would highly recommend!
Good value lunch menu , friendly staff , a bit like sitting in a typical french brasserie in Paris ( like they used to be .....)
Great menu, so the definition of ‘good on paper’. But the actual dishes, whilst looking great, do not taste as they should. The onion soup was lukewarm and tasteless, the pappardelle pasta was just odd tasting. Confirm of duck was good. No children’s menu so we had to spend a lot for four people including an 11 and 9 year old
Great Soho establishment. Has one of the most thorough, high quality and best variety set menu around. The menu changes weekly so there's always something new to try. Acoustics can be pretty harsh when the place is busy.
Love this place!
Always reliable, always great service at prix Fixe
Food was very good and service was on the button at a reasonable price I will be back
Good food, friendly service and reasonably cheap, all conveniently in the heart of Soho so perfect for a pre-theatre supper.
Very good dining experience - service good, food good and it wasn't too noisy so we could talk without having to shout.
I have been here a few times with friends. It was very disappointing this time. I ordered a glass of fizz, it was flat. And I had to ask for the second one to have some bubbles, which it did. That was ok, but my food wasn’t. My friends found their steaks fine but my fish dish was served cold. The sauce was cold, and I should have sent it back to get warmed up because and I ended up being very sick when I got home. I didn’t complain at the time because I was hungry and didn’t want to make another fuss. But even the chips I ordered were tepid and not crispy. Considering they are out of a bag I expected more. So so disappointed because like I say I liked Prix Fix. Every other time it was fine so not sure what happened, but I still feel fragile in my stomach 2 days on.
Very friendly enjoyable experience, good food at great vslue.
Lovely place. Excellent value wine list with some real treats. One of those places who delivers what it says on the tin :)
Great french menu food and wine love lovely service good to
Superb! Great please for veggie options, not boring risottos like other places
The service was good, accept for the owner. The food was tasty, but the duck was too cold.
This is a great find - a very well-priced set menu with plenty of choice, which is unusual. We were s group of four for lunch and all delighted with our dishes - fresh and very tasty (and generous quantities). Very attentive, friendly service too. Will return, recommended!
Outstanding as always!
A good restaurant in a buzzy area. Nice atmosphere, helpful waitresses and good food.
Excellent value for money as plenty to choose from the set menu.
As usual best place for set lunch pre theatre or even a la carte. Wide choice for each excellent French cooking. Confit of duck is fabulous. Excellent friendly service. Great prices too even the wine!!
Went here for pre theatre dinner, as usual a great little restaurant. Service, food and value for money is excellent. I would recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.
We visited lunch time on a weekday.
Really good food with quality ingredients, perfect non intrusive service, lovely wine, great price.
What’s not to love. Will be back
A really friendly establishment with welcoming and enthusiastic staff. We were too late in the day for the fixed price menu which was disappointing, but our own fault. The food was good, but without the fixed price we felt that it was a little expensive. However, we had a lovely meal and would go again.
The food was outstanding, simply delicious French cooking. I recently went to the Savoy for dinner and I thought the food at Prix Fixe Brasserie tasted better.
Really good food
We had the pe theatre 2 course meal
Very good choice of starter and main much better then a lot of other restaurants with this sort of meal package
Value you for the money
A tasty choice of reasonably priced food. Everything we had was very good. Service was efficient and friendly.
Recommended by a friend and I have visited since. It’s consistent but this time I found the waiting staff not attentive till called.
Food good, wine good . I think the fixed price menu is good value but I was out of time on this occasion.
Good French bistro with surprisingly tasty cooking. Not quite Parisian but good for pre-show dinner.
Have walked past this little gem a few times and always thought it looked lovely and great price pre theatre menu af a fantastic price for the west end . So booked it last Sunday and it surely didn't disappoint , great choice of menu .. Fantastic friendly service ... We asked to change a few things with the dishes due to food intolerance and nothing was any trouble Highly recommend !! And can't wait to go back!! I have found my favourite pre theatre restaurant 😄.. Well done prix fixe !!
Indifferent service, mediocre food and middling wine. Not worth the reviews it receives here. Only virtues are value - questionable, given my evaluation - and proximity to most West End theatres.
Had lovely food. Good quality wide variety. Good service, will return.
Prix Fixe Brasserie was the perfect spot for a reasonably priced, casual French Bistro meal. Not haute cuisine but well prepared, down to earth bistro offerings and nice quality wines by the glass. It is so nice to find an independent restaurant still operating successfully amongst the multitude of boring chain restaurants. While Prix Fixe is in a very touristy part of Soho, it felt removed from all the tourist action. The staff was warm and welcoming to me as a single woman diner. I highly recommend Prix Fixe. I'll be going back.
Nice food and service, will definitely go back. Highly recommend it.
Perfect for pre theatre dinner, efficient service, without feeling rushed
Little Gem of a restaurant.
We found the Prix Fixe Brasserie on a Google search for restaurants near the Soho Theatre. What a find! The food was excellent value for money and good portions, and the two-courses and three-courses set menus a real treat. All four of us ordered steak in various states, from tartare to sirloin and all were to perfection with the difference between the medium and medium rare just perfect. The waitress was very obliging and managed our picky orders with a smile. We will definitely be back, and I intend to work my way through their menu eventually. As they say in a well-known Guide, "worth a detour".
Really like this place , good classic French food , friendly helpful service , very good and reasonably priced wine list , also great value , what’s not to like !!!!
One of our favourite London restaurants..great location, great value and the food is top class!
It was a pretheatre meal the food was excellent as was the service and very reasonable will definitely be back
