At Prime Catch, every Table has a Waterfront View.
For over a decade, Prime Catch has been serving the Freshest Florida Fish, Maine Lobster, and delicious Seafood and Steaks to Locals & Seasonal Snowbirds alike.
Love the new look and can't wait for the outside bar. Our waiter was fantastic; very friendly and helpful. The hostess who seated us was very abrupt and unfriendly though. She was not happy when I asked for a table by the window (so much so that I told her never mind) and we watched her seating others very abruptly... Everything else about our experience was lovely.
Service needed reminders for bread, side dishes, and soup order not placed. Entrees were hot and professional presented with fresh catch. Overall, Prime Catch has been remodeled but serve also needs be on their game with patrons setup and orders
Great service. Happy staff. Love it every time I go.
Prime Catch is always a top notch dining experience. The new remodel is a nice fresh update on an already wonderful restaurant space.
Delish! And an amazing water view!
Outstanding atmosphere. Great service. Wonderful food. Newly renovated and dod think it could look better but it is so bright and inviting.
Thanksgiving dinner was meh. The margarita was a premixed version that was sickly sweet. The prime rib was cut as a slab over cooked and tasteless. The grouper was very good as was the dessert. The thing that bothered me the most was the lack of tablecloths. I definitely remember tablecloths from a couple of years ago although our waitress denied the restaurant ever having them. The tables were sticky and the lack of tablecloths and holiday decor gave the atmosphere a cold unfriendly feel. I’ll definitely try another place for next Thanksgiving!
Excellent Service busy Thanksgiving- Richard our waiter was outstanding- Food was good . Count on me for next Thanksgiving, and visits in between as well
Reservation time honored; service excellent (Bryan); food delicious
Newly renovated with a brighter "coastal" theme! Friends come every year from the UK and our night before Thanksgiving has always been at the Prime Catch with them! They are in the hotel/restaurant business and say the food is at the top of the game! Our server was delightful! We had a loud couple behind us, but didn't mind, we had such a great time and will always recommend and attend the Prime Catch all year long! Rainbow trout, excellent! Grouper, excellent! Everyone raved about the sole.
I have to say our experience was exceptional. My sister and I took my Mom who can be quite picky and demanding. All her little requests were handled professionally with lots of care and that meant a lot on the service end. The food matches the service being fresh, delicious and nicely presented..we had fish dip, the trout, prime rib and shrimp platter..all were delicious.. plus they responded to my FB checkin there...They are on top of things and even thanked me by name as we left. Kudos to all and plesse keep it up!
Had an amazing meal, Blackened Grouper, Granny Apple Coffee Cake for dessert. Remodel is beautiful.
We had a very delightful meal, and a wonderful waitress named Kate. He also liked the remodeling of the downstairs lobby.
I have been going here for many years. They just reopened after an extensive renovation. What has changed the most is the prices which have gone up quite a bit ($10 for a Caesar Salad with anchovies) Lobster prices are high everywhere and mine was cooked just right, albeit pricey.
Not crowded in the late afternoon and the redo is not finished yet, but for an old fan of this place, I was glad to return even though it was a expensive
They have done a major remodeling which IS beautiful. But, it changes the look of the place a lot, removing what I originally loved about Prime Catch. For first time, we were seated in an upstairs bar (even though the reservation specified a window - and there were tables downstairs at windows), with the downstairs bar directly adjacent to a space open above ... to our table. Noise level was unacceptable. We were seated before I realized the negative of the location we were in and I didn't ask to be re-accommodated. Service so-so and food seemed a pale version of meals there in the past. Extremely disappointed. Regrettably, on the lookout for a new favorite to replace this formerly beloved one.
Our server, Andrew, was exceptional!! The new 'redo' of the space is beautiful! Can hardly wait for the outdoor bar area to be completed.
This is a fairly new place, and while there were some very mild growing pains showing, it was a very good experience. We'll be back.
Light bright and airy! A beautiful reno. Really enjoyed the lobster ceviche. Always the freshest fish. Can't wait to dine there again.
I’ve been back a couple of times already
The restaurant looks fantastic with the new updated ambiance
The service and food was the same wonderful quality as usual.
The newly renovated restaurant is absolutely beautiful. Revamped menu is terrific. Outside dining is the best.
We had a lovely lunch, sitting outside, with dear friends. Food, service, ambience were all wonderful. They did a beautiful job on the renovations!
You expectation when making a reservation is to get a table not a seat at the bar. The table we were given was in the upstairs bar area adjacent to the end of the bar where there were many patrons enjoying one drink too many. It was the same as sitting in any bar not a restaurant. Our waitress seemed more concerned with other tables then ours and when asked, after our appetuizers were finished, for some bread she seemed surprised that we would ask her. When our main dishes arrived, they were cold and tasteless and after complaining to a manager, we finally received our bread, also cold with frozen butter. The manager tried to blame our concerns on us but I am not the chef or cook dealing out cold fries. She seemed upset with us when we did not let her take our food back to correct, well we were hungry and you get one shot to please guests. thirty bucks for fish and chips that were cold and greasy, you failed miserably.
Beautiful restaurant on the intracoastal waterway! Great food a d servicd
Thanks for the great review, we appreciate the positive feedback. Glad you enjoyed the food and service. Please come and visit us again soon.
Restaurant has had a makeover including the menu. It was very beautiful, comfortable and the food was excellent.
Beautifully redecorated with same outstanding food and service.
Food used to be much better
Love the new decor and ambulance. Took a friend for a birthday lunch and she loved it . Food and service were great.
Prime Catch has always been a favorite and the new renovations are stunning! Always great to see Gail as well- she does a great job.
Looking forward to bringing the boat in for lunch or brunch.
The food we were served was very good, however the restaurant makes no attempt to cook things with any substitutions. We were 7 at a table and asked for an extra dumpling as the order was for 6. The waiter said the chef will not give us an extra (which we would have paid for) so we bought a complete extra order. My daughter got an entree that had multiple seafood items and asked if they would give her clams instead of oysters. The answer was no, this is how the chef does it. In addition, one of my guests received his side dish after everyone was done eating. We were celebrating my fathers 92 birthday and asked the waitress what the restaurant could do, She said the restaurant doesn't give free desserts to anybody but with a dessert purchase they could give us a candle. (I thought they might charge us for a candle as well). When I spoke to management they made it clear that they are more concerned with the chef having his/her way, than the patrons. Next time I plan a $500.00 celebration it would be here.
The favorite is back! Beautiful new interior with the same delicious menu
Newly refurbished, nice n bright. Food n service were good. Will return for dire
The newly renovated restaurant is lovely. The staff were very accomodating and attentive. The outside dining area with the patio heaters and cozy chairs was very comfortable even on a chilly night. The experience was great!
Broiled lobster was good. Prime rib was cold, sides were way too small, soup was bland. Salad was again too small and was not offered with the entrée.
Such a special treat for my out-of-town friend to experience Lobster Night! It was wonderful and I wish I could come every week!! Broiled Lobster 1.5 lbs (at least!) Was great. We had sides of coleslaw, (the best this side of Texas) and twice baked potatoes. Everything was top notch. No dessert bitour cocktails were super!
Mediocre food at somewhat inflated price.
Recently renovated so need to recoup the investment.
Management should try something special to lure slightly higher end crowd
Friendly staff, but appears already a bit disorganized when the place wasn't busy at all
Food portions were very small and service had alot to be desired.
Great new look, new menu, great food
