Oysters and crab dip were wonderful, as was the brownie dessert. While the steaks had great flavor, three of the four were not the temperature we ordered. Our sever Olaf is the BEST! We ask for him each time we visit.

waitress took food off are table that we needed packed to go, then took dirty plates off another table and place all on same tray. Asked waitress not to do that and he picked up more dirty plates that people ate off on the same tray we were getting a plate pa led to go. Supervisor made it correct which we appreciate, the sides were so good and are steaks were medium well dry.

Went for the first time tonight after hearing good things. We really enjoyed our visit and will return on another evening. I enjoyed the salmon special with tomato salad. My husband tried his favorite- NY Strip. He loved it! We also ordered broccoli and cheddar mashed (not overly cheesy- nice!) really enjoyed the evening.

Cocktail shrimp is large and prepared just right. Steak was properly cooked, melted in your mouth. Service was fantastic. So pleasing to have a higher quality meal in an environment without loud music and overpacked noisy crowd.

Overall, we just were not that impressed, I've made better steaks at home on the grill, the sides were disappointing except for the creamed corn. The atmosphere was boisterous to say the least and not a good environment for an eighteenth anniversary. I would not recommend this location to anyone interested in an intimate evening. We will not be making reservations here again.

Let me just start off by saying that Julio is the best advocate that I’ve ever seen at a restaurant. He speaks very highly of the restaurant. Most would but his appreciation and love for this location is so authentic. He truly is an ambassador for prime 47. Aside from that, they just have an amazing culture surrounded around amazing experiences. I don’t come here enough. Must attend if you are on the north side!! I could spend another paragraph just on the food!!!

We were celebrating my husband’s birthday. The soup of the day & the chili were lukewarm. We waited at least 45-60 minutes for our main course, three of us ordered filets, one got a filet with a lobster tail & another got ahi tuna & wagyu beef. We ordered three accessories and the cream corn was lukewarm as well. Four out of the five us ordered desserts which Matthew said we’re on the house & I’m assuming it was due to the inordinate amount of time for us to get our main course. Several tables around us came in later than us, ordered, ate & left before we got our food. With the amount of money we spent on cocktails & food, it was very disappointing to have that type of wait for our food especially since we were celebrating a birthday.

Appetizers were a bit lackluster in terms of flavor. The lobster bisque was a 6/10, the free bread for a $$$$ restaurant should have deeper flavors/yeasty smells than the toppings consisting of parsley and garlic powder. The calamari was mid-tier in terms of sauce and flavors but cooked very well. Scallops were cooked to perfection, never had better scallops in my entire life. The main attention obviously went to the meat. Kobe A5 Wagyu chef's recommendation was a bleeding cow with a crust. Immaculate. The attention to detail with applewood smoked salt, and balsamic reduction served alongside a representative lively displaying his knowledge of the cow from start to finish. It was a show well received and wanted. If I could do it again, I would buy much more meat and fewer appetizers. I would say the apps threw me for a loop at the beginning and I was visibly worrying my wife, but everything else was perfect across the board. I was so happy with the entree I kept ordering food. 9.6/10 Thanks again Aaron for fixing up a drink the spicy way, it was a great time!

Service was excellent, Chilean Sea Bass was fantastic, steak was okay. They seated us between a large, very loud group of young adults and a couple with a fussy baby. The upstairs area is cramped, if they start to take you there ask to move! Glad we tried it but this place does not compare to St. Elmo’s, Harry and Izzy’s, or Hyde Park. The filet was disappointing and wine by the glass was over priced.

My wife and i enjoyed every minute of our visit . Beginning with a Cheerful greeting from Emilia to our Superstar Server Kassi and her assistant Sophia ! Invited friends to dinner. Their first time at Prime 47, and they really enjoyed their dinner. Our food was prepared perfectly. It was a nice surprise when we arrived and the restaurant had a birthday card and a free dessert for my birthday. No one had told them prior to our arrival, so they must pay attention to the information in my Open Table profile. Nice touch!
