Pollen Street Social
Delicious lunch with lots of little surprises along the way!
Excellent amuse bush at the start and ahead of deserts.
The sommelier was very helpful on the wine selection front.
This is a good restaurant, though on this occasion my main course was heavily over salted, which was a pity.
And the service was functional and not quick, rather than friendly
But overall, this is a fine restaurant and one I would be happy to return to
A really great experience all round.
Buzzy ambiance without being loud or intrusive.
Wonderful, charming staff.
Fantastic food and an excellent by-the-glass wine list.
Such a lovely place to go for a special
Occasion- as a couple or a group.
Special food, accommodating staff, impeccable service!
Had the pleasure of celebrating my 50th birthday at Pollen Street Social. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we walked through the door. The staff were so friendly and attentive and the food was stunning. A big shout out to Emily - she is amazing. Bravo Jason, Dale and the team
Excellent service, staff were attentive and could not have done any better. The food itself was nothing special given the price and reputation.
Not quite at its best last visit. My Partridge dish was a little cold and the leg wasn’t that tender. Service was generally good. Terrine lacked acidic contrast in the accompanying elements.
As my husband and I are Vegans I was struggling to find a fine dining experience involving a tasting menu that catered to our diet. Pollen Street Social offers a nine course Vegan tasting menu - Perfect! It did not disappoint. We were thrilled to be able to enjoy perfectly cooked savoury dishes and delicious desserts, there wasn't a meat substitute in sight either which was wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed each course, the colours were vibrant, the taste so different each time, a 'game' course was even thrown into the mix too - great fun! The staff could not do enough for us either, they were all extremely professional, attentive and caring. We are looking forward to returning.
Really enjoyed the dinner experience. Food and cocktail are delicious, presentation is amazing and always come with surprises. Very good service and vibe. It is indeed expensive but worth the experience.
My wife's birthday and the staff were awesome, Wend is Coeliac and the restaurant were brilliant with this, cake bread all catered for and a unique experience for her, they made a special desert. Food is brilliant and service is second to none.
As always the food was outstanding - its the reason we keep coming back. Service bit hit and miss definitely room for improvement there -but based on the qaulity of the food its outstanding
Considering the prices and luxury experience I wouldn’t have expected to ask for water several times and the sommelier could have been more helpful.
Put simply, an amazing experience. The staff are welcoming and efficient without ever making you feel rushed. We had the festive 'set lunch menu' and the food was simply divine with a whole host of 'extras' that aren't on the menu. We highly recommend taking the opportunity to watch your dessert being made (which are all works of art in their own right) and also gives you the chance to watch professional kitchen at the very top of its game. Can't fault it!
Exemplary service. Given a Friday evening this was even more exceptional. From managing our misreading if the address to being the last people to leave all the way through the engagement was a perfect balance of enough and not too much formal and friendly.
The food came perfectly served and the wine similarly.
Added to the very short list of return locations.
Absolutely amazing. The food is beyond incredible, except service, wonderful atmosphere.
Everything was excellent, except the noise level. However, staff did kindly move us to a quieter table so top marks on responsiveness and service!
Husbands 50th birthday with family.
Fantastic night. Friendly staff, wonderful food, great atmosphere
A memorable evening
Simply a fantastic lunch. Everything packs a punch flavour wise. Can’t wait to go back.
The food was absolutely amazing. We loved every single course and appreciated that all the diners received free pre-starters as well as pre-desserts. The waiters were extremely attentive. We have been to quite a few Michelin star restaurants but in overall experience this has topped them all!
We had the tasting menu with matching wine flight. It was absolutely superb. Probably the best tasting menu I’ve had. Amazing food, great wine, lovely service, great atmosphere. I’ve wanted to go here for a while and now I know why! Brilliant.
My evaluation is relative to other Michelin 1*'s. Overall, a great experience. Amuse bouche and most main courses were good and inventive. However, a perfect score was marred by an absolutely dreadful suckling pig course: the meat was as tough as shoe leather. The chef confirmed the bad course, and fortunately, the kitchen prepared a different course quickly. This was a major faux pas for the kitchen of a 1*. To commend the restaurant, however, the alternative course was both prepared quickly and was complementary. One minor service gaff was that the first course was served before the wine appeared. Despite these problems, the evening was enjoyable largely due to the quality of the other courses, and the responsiveness of the restaurant management. I would return, and plan to...
excellent food. Nice service. Would like to come again. A bit noisy though!
Food was excellent, with attentive but not intrusive service. All made for a great anniversary meal . Would definitely revisit / recommend
The food was good but not particularly outstanding. More staff were needed, especially for the price you pay to eat there. The wine was spectacular.
Maybe it was bad luck on the day I visited... Took 3 hours to deliver a 3 course meal. Food was cold and bland. Lots of waiters bumping into each other. Can't recommend and won't be coming back
Fantastic as a special occasion meal (pricey for every day)
Loved everything about it!
We had the vegetarian tasting menu. Apart from the excellent Risotto, which i want to go back for, the rest of the menu unfortunately was underwhelming. Considering the price, we thought it could have been a lot better (ca. £450 for 3 people, one glass of alcohol each, but with the cheese platter).
Excellent business lunch at Pollen Street Social - we had the set menu which was excellent and most enjoyed the little extras along the way. We were invited to take desert in front of the pastry chef which we thought was a wheeze to free up out table, but actually it was an excellent and entertaining end to the lunch
