PizzArte provides its guests with a welcoming setting where delicious food is combined with the opportunity to reengage with painting. What Insiders Are Saying
PizzArte is not just another pizza joint. It also happens to be an art gallery. That must have sounded awesome in the business plan.
My gluten free pizza was not fully cooked underneath and somewhat burnt on top
Really a true italian experience. The service is amazing everyone is very friendly and the food is just the best. We went there twice during our short stay because it was so incredible.
The ambience was good as usual. The temperature were we sat, was hot (the larger high table towards the front).
Food and drinks were good.
Awesome food that we have returned twice for. It is very loud upstairs with all the other tables close together but great service and food which is the main thing!
Food was very fresh but pricy. However, we are in New York.
This place is amazing and has delicious food ! Probably the best octopus we have ever had ! I don’t know what they did to it , but wow ! All of the food was amazing and they even have whole grain and gluten free options . Our waiter was super attentive !
The food and service were great. Seating was tight, but the friendly and helpful staff and the sleek modern ambience made up for that. Our salad and pizza both used fresh tasing ingredients that were simple but paired exceptionally well - and prepared remarkably fast.
Food and service were excellent.
The service is always good here. Everyone seems to take great pride in the food and with good reason, it’s really good.
The atmosphere is pleasant and the art is a nice touch.
We always leave happy.
The pasta is amazing! Truly some of the best in the city! Also, the glutten free crust is perfect. We order it even though we do not have a glutten issue.
Best staff and servers out there.
Both me and my partner got stomach issues after eating at this establishment.
Nice setting and very attentive service . Pizza was very good. Great staff
Everything was delicious! Great service! One of our favorite places in NYC-
Always incredible!!! Staff accommodating (we had a tight schedule)
Excellent meal, as usual. For the past 4 years, this is our go-to spot for authentic Neopolitan Italian cuisine. The thin-crust pizzas, homemade pastas, seafood, and vegetable side-dishes are as close to what you’ll find in Naples and down the Amalfi coast on this side of the Atlantic. Great midtown location, and moderate prices. Highly recommended.
Excellent pastas, reasonable wine list.
Fried Pizza was raw inside and mushy on top. Menu said “castellveltrano” olives but they used kalamatA. I guess they are trying to save money and don’t think the diner is educated in food.
Sure the place is only wide enough to stand two abreast... but they make possibly the best gluten free pizza in the known universe!
PizzArte is always on our list for lunch or dinner when we visit NYC. This time it was disappointing. Service was less personable and efficient. The Prosciutto appetizer was mere and certainly not worth the price. There were just a few small pieces of prosciutto and they were all tough. The pastas were homemade. The baby octopus pieces in one pasta were very small and also tough. All in all a disappointing meal.
Fabulous Neopolitan pizza with a variety of traditional toppings, a diverse selection of wines, and a very attentive and helpful staff.
Delicious fresh pasta, pizza, and desserts. The dinner vibe was lively.
BEST GF pizza I've had since I was in Rome. You can easily find pretty good GF cauliflower crusts, but nothing traditional like this!! This place was amazing and I can see myself eating here all the time!!
the best authentic pizza this side of the Atlantic. Also try the veggie side dishes.
Great gluten free pizzas!
I enjoyed my lunch here very much. Sat upstairs which is bright and has interesting artwork. The four of us all liked our food. Big portions and really friendly attentive service.
This was pretty good overall! The pizza is a bit pricy for the size you get but it tasted good, though not the best pizza I've ever had. The service on the other hand took forever. There would be a 25+ minute gap between when I'd see the waiter. The waiter was great whenever he came over though. I think they were just low on staff and he was running the entire second floor of tables.
Fresh food and flavors of Italy are here in Pizzarte NYC. I’d like to visit there again soon and recommend my friends to experience it when visiting NYC.
Very good food.
Service is outstanding.
Great local spot for pizza and surprisingly good salads. Friendly, attentive service.
I thought the food was great, though other members of my party didn't agree. Service was never bad, but a little spotty at times.
Had an excellent time! Thank you for the outstanding service and food! Only downside was a screaming baby two tables down but nothing the restaurant could have done about it...not even the parents did.
Food was good and tasty. Pasta excellent and pizza spot on. Service was poor - wouldn’t allow the pizza to be topped half Margherita and half with a topping - which is easy to do. Also forgot half the drinks and we had to ask for other bits. Quite expensive for what it is, but i suppose its New York...
Very expensive and poor quality
Amazing gluten-free pizza, wonderful wine, lovely and gracious service. We will definitely be back!!
Place was pretty but pizza far below expectations based on reviews. Service not friendly.
Definitely not up to usual standards. Felt rushed the entire time and our pizza was too thin/overstretched.
Gracias por la atención
Have the ravioli and magarita pizza Soo good. Portions small so may need to order more then one dish. Athlete here lol
Great place. Beautiful decor. Service was excellent. Staff was very friendly.
