Warm welcome from Scott and his team. Us oldies appreciated the food and drink . Favourite foods- all of them!!
Great night just be careful you don’t get carried away with the skewers 😄
Loved this place.... great atmosphere and really friendly staff.... food is fabulous. Highly recommended
Staff were very friendly, and food was also good. Nice lively atmosphere.
Great service and ambience
Serving staff were really friendly and helpful. Food is good and great to be able to share as well as pick how much you eat. Only thing is it works out pretty pricey for what.
Great place and great food, you feel you’re actually in Spain!
The only downside I would say it’s the noise, the music was way to loud
Pix is an easy concept, you have a table, order a drink and then help yourself to the regularly refreshed dishes available on the bar, all labelled to help your choice. You then pay for what you've eaten by counting up the skewers. All the food we chose was tasty, fresh and completely eaten, no leftovers here. Favourites: salt cod fritters and the four cheese fritters. The only down side? All the skewers are quick and easy to eat, so you might spend far more than you intended!
Belated birthday evening out.
Perfect start to our evening. Warm welcome from the staff, Food was spot on, tasty and plenty of choice. Definitely recommend and we will revist next time we are in the area.
First visit and we were very impressed. Friendly staff, lovely food and wine. It was a pre-theatre trip and we had plenty of time to enjoy our meal. Wish there was a Pix in Cambridge!
We absolutely love this place, its a favourite for a Friday lunch and drinks. Great service, lovely food, brilliant play list.
This time we didn't have quite as much choice food wise as we usually do but everything they had was delicious and fresh.
We stayed for hours after our lunch was finished, the staff were really accommodating and the service was great.
I loved it. Great place to have a casual dinner with friends. And you don’t end up feeling loaded down with food as you only eat as much as you fancy.
Poor service and the food wasn’t great for the price.
Nice spot for tapas and drinks. Pick your own food, so everything’s very speedy.
Only downside is that it’s not very comfy for sitting and chatting - it’s more an “in and out” sort of a place.
Great place. Wonderful choice. Friendly staff. I love the window seat at Pix. This is a great place to eat at around 5/6pm as there were lots of dishes brought out around this time.
Very good, will be going again. Great way to try lots of different flavours.
I have eaten at this restaurant many times and think it is great. I have eaten at lunchtime and much prefer it to an evening. The food is not replenished quick enough. We dine at 12.30 lunchtime and 6.30 evening, we had to wait for a while for fresh food to arrive.
Great as ever
We booked for lunch here before going to the theatre and although early for our booking we were greeted very warmly by the staff. The tapas were varied and excellent. We couldn't fault any of the food and my favourite was the Morcilla (Spanish Black Pudding), Quail’s Egg and roasted Piquillo Pepper on Ciabatta. We even had a white chocolate and raspberry dessert. Delicious. Staff were kind and attentive.
Love the informality of this restaurant and the friendliness of the staff. The food choice is always varied and covers all bases.
£15 eat as much as you like great value. Good music and cosy surroundings.
Great food, nice little restaurant with bar tables and stalls. Fantastic 80's playlist and the Infinity Sunday deal is good value for money.
Food is nice but not much variety. Service was average
Food was fine, reasonable choice and value. Service was friendly but distracted, staff spent most of the evening standing around bar area exchanging memories of university. All five of them. Labelling was poor, including allergens. We had to ask what dishes were and then cake containing nuts was not labelled, which meant an undignified spitting out of the food. Luckily, my friend does not have a severe nut allergy, but someone who did could be in real trouble.
Great selection of tapas. Lots of Vegetarian options. Super friendly staff, great music playing and cozy space. Food was kept full and fresh. Loved it.
We had a lovely lunch here on Sunday woh our friends . One of whom is a vegetarian, who was well catered for also. She was looking for Patatas bravas and as soon as the portions were ready the waiter brought them to her so she wouldn’t miss them and have to wait for the next batch. We really enjoyed it!
Food was ok. Not great mainly as the cold food wasn’t in Fridges and the hot food was on under hot lights, so it was tipis or slightly warm. It was an improvement when the waiter came around with hot calamari. The seats are tiny and the staff are friendly but standing around as all they need to serve are drinks take the money and meet and greet.
I'm a frequent flier at Pix. Always yummy and great atmosphere!
Very chilled and great food.
Many tapas choices, hot and cold, are already laid out for you when you arrive - making it a swift, tasty meal. Also Sangria!
Excellent tapas. Great variety and location.
Absolutely delicious food. Ambience OK. Service so so.
£15 for all you can eat tapas at lunch during the week! The tapas are absolutely delish and varied, and the staff are always super friendly and helpful. The sangrias are the size of your head!
We just love this restaurant. Perfect for a pre-theatre meal - delicious simple tapas and a lovely glass of wine. Really fun venue.
A popular but small tapas bar, busy with mostly 20/30 year olds but with quite loud music. We chose an alcove seat but these were somewhat a squash for two grown people! There was a limited selection of about a dozen tapas dishes and 3 desserts on the bar counter which we helped ourselves to, no menu so don't know if there were any others we could order but tasty enough. Have to admit though that after 11 small dishes for which we paid £75.00 with two sangrias and the already-added "service" charge, we were still hungry.
The next day OpenTable had us down as a "no show" - so not impressed when I have the bill and credit card to prove we did attend!
I love Pix, especially this one on Neal Street. I've not been for a while (6+ months) and I felt the quality had dropped a little. Fewer fresh plates brought out than usual. Wine cork removed away from our table and not invited to try it - it was left on the table.
Still - Pix has a lovely atmosphere and the plates are interesting and delicious. Don't forget to get the basics right and you're 5 stars next time :-)
We had a nice meal, food very good and rotated often, with plenty of choice.
A nice atmosphere, busy and the staff were great.
It was our first visit to Pix and it won't be our last. Great food and love that you can eat as much or as little as you want. They were constantly putting out fresh new food.
