Opened to great acclaim in September 2015, Piquet combines the best of British produce with classic modern European cooking. The changing menu reflects seasonality and a confident style of cooking.

Whether for the comforting simplicity of a good steak or the ultra classic pithivier, there is something for all tastes on the menu. Alongside the a la carte, the set menu (two courses £19.50, three at £23.50) also offers exceptional value for a light lunch as well as the perfect pre-theatre pit-stop.

Lovely meal with excellent service. All our dishes were extremely well prepared and delicious. Good choice of wines by the glass and great value for the quality

First visit. Early evening for two middle aged! Superb in all respects even though we had a Time out Voucher. Will definitely come again as only 20 minutes walk from RSM!

Really nice food and wine. Great service. However was a little empty considering how good it was. Would definitely recommend!

We had a great time with really excellent food, great wines and a relaxed atmosphere with excellent service. It was terrific!

Food was ok, small portions, but yummy. Our make waiter was engaging, very attentive - our lady waiter was awful - no smiles and when we mixed and matched menus it seemed problematic (our total bill was over £600) I would have expected better - would u recommend, no. Would I revisit this restaurant, unfortunately no!

The food at Piquet is very, very good. Between two of us we had the crab raviolo (exceptionally fine pasta, delicious bisque) and the croquette of pig's head (something truly indulgent for pork lovers). We both chose the same main course; belly of lamb. The Aubergine puree that it was served with was exquisite and the cooking of the lamb was perfect. To complete the meal we shared the Assiette Gourmande which was a little platter of deliciousness. In particular, the poppy seed financier... wonderful. The wine list isn't massive but there is a good selection and it's fairly priced for this quality of restaurant. I can also highly recommend the specialist beers. Thoroughly recommendable.
