Pinstripes - Georgetown Ratings and Reviews
We had high hopes for this experience, but the wait staff was horrible. We were seated and it took a long time for the waiter to come. We wanted to order, but he said he needed to replace our place mats. He never returned. The table next to us asked three staff members to provide their check as their waiter had disappeared too. We not sat there dumbfounded by the complete disregard. So, we all got up and left.
The occasion for us was a small corporate social outing. Pinstripes Georgetown provided the perfect venue. Happy hour with great food and drinks was a good fit for the group while engaging in a challenging game of bocce ball. Everyone had a blast and are looking forward to the next visit. Thanks!
We celebrated a birthday (for an adult) bowling, eating and drinking at Pinstripes. It was a blast. The staff could not have been more accommodating and attentive. The food, pizzas and flatbreads, was terrific. Very good wine list and great beers. Really much more fun and more festive than I had imagined it would be.
I celebrated my birthday at pinstripes two years in a row. I plan on attending each birthday until the place is closed. Bowling and pizza was awesome the first year. They have the best pizza and i know because I'll from New York lol. The brunch is amazing and worth the price. The food is so delicious. The staff is great. My first and I had a awesome time.
I had my birthday party here and had such a great time. Jenna, the manager, was really accommodating to my party and made sure we had a great time. Patrick, our server, was helpful in helping us pick out what to eat and drink and was so patient with us not knowing what we wanted.
Thanks to another restaurant that wouldn't serve us "just drinks" on their patio and said we'd have to order a full meal to stay outside or belly up to the bar, we continued walking around Georgetown and found Pinstripes by accident about a month ago. I'm SOOO glad we did! This is our new favorite place for brunch! The food was delicious and our server top notch! The bottomless mimosas were delightful! The omelette station and waffle station were awesome! The presentation of the food was wonderful and the whole staff was eager to please! We can't wait to go back!!!!
I went here recently for a summer's end get together with friends, food and service was good. We also did two rounds of bowling and drinks, I have been here several times before and each time it is a great atmosphere for family and friends. Cost is about average compared to other area places, looking forward to returning soon!
Food was a little disappointing, we both had pizza and shared a salad...nothing special, both agreed &pizza was a better pizza for a better price! Service wasn't overly friendly, the reservation was for my husband's 30th birthday but they didn't mention it at all. However we did have an hour of bowling after which was great fun! And the pinstripes socks were a nice touch!
Wouldn't return for the food but would return for the fun!
My girlfriend and I decided to try this place along the canal in Georgetown and we are so glad we did. We asked for a table outside since it was a beautiful, cool night. Sitting at an outdoor table made it more interesting for us because we saw a lot of the foot traffic going through the canal area. We had a very polite server - an American University student from Florida - and he was very prompt and efficient. We ordered a delicious bottle of Pinot Noir from the wine list and we were really pleased with the result. We both had pasta dishes as well as a salad and stuffed mushrooms for our appetiziers. All four dishes were simply delicious and very filling. We will definitely go back! Thanks!
Bowling was fun, had a blast with children on vacation. Dinner reservations upstairs after bowling. Food was ok, not anything great. Soda syrup was not mixed properly, tasted like soda water. Bread came out for 4 people in little tiny basket with 4 tiny pieces, we asked for more and 4 even tinier pieces came out. Service was good, but the food was not good for the prices, we expected better quality.
We LOVED the Sunday Brunch. It was a great atmosphere for kids and adults. We had a great time playing Bocce afterwards, and then took the kids down the hill to play in the fountains by the waterfront. We brought out-of-town guests, and it was absolutely perfect.
Pinstripes always comes through for a great Sunday Brunch. There are a variety of food selections for every palette, including children. The addition of the bottomless mimosas adds a great touch for an additional fee. The waitstaff service is impeccable. A waitress who was just walking by not only offered to help me fix plates for myself and children, but did! I was blown away! She was very attentive.
One of my favourite brunch spots in DC- it's a surprisingly good selection and price, given that it's a bowling alley and in Georgetown, but $6 unlimited mimosas are hard to beat anywhere in DC, and the food is consistently good. Definitely get a waffle and an omelet while you're here, and leave room for the amazing chocolate fountain!
The dinner in general was pretty good. And the server was nice with us as well. We had few confusions about the food ingredients in the plates. One of the eaters couldn't eat garlic, she said that to the server and her main plate didn't have it. But she also ordered bread and it tasted like there was some garlic on it. You must say in any product has it, and more if one of the customers says she can't eat it.
Also I want to let you know something related to the bowling space. We were playing it as well. We were very dissapointed with it. We were a big group of people and we ask to have two tracks. You said you didn't have two tracks avaliable (after waiting 2 hours for our turn, which we are fine with it since it was sat night) when we arrived, there were few bowling tracks empty (more than 5). We asked if we could split the group in two and you said there were busy. After being 1 hour playing no one was using the next folowing three bowling tracks and we couldn't even finish our entire game. In the future, we will really reconsider to go play again.
We had a party of eight for an early dinner. Our waitress was still in training, but we wouldn't have known if she didn't tell us. Service was fast and courteous and the food was absolutely astounding. Every dish that we ordered was fresh, hot and delicious.
Prices were extremely reasonable especially for Georgetown. We will definitely be back.
Very good to excellent food for the money. Brunch is a bargain for $30.00. Great prime rib, smoked salmon, omelets and other good stuff. The happy hour food is a bargain. Half price apps including sliders, excellent calamari, flat breads and pizzas. Other good items include chicken parmesan, pasta with meat balls, etc. Informal and great for kids.
