Friday: 11am - 1am
Saturday: 10am - 1am
Sunday: 10am - 10pm
Excellent food, excellent service, and gluten free options. Overall a fantastic experience!
Mixed drinks took way too long but manager apologized in person and comped the drinks. Food was very good. Server was friendly and professional.
My daughter and I are visiting family in MD and came to site see in DC. Had a great time and great food (lasagna) was fabulous, but our waiter was wonderful too! Love the idea of bocci ball and bowling. Will be telling friends about this place and our experience. Thank you!
We just needed a casual spot for dinner after taking an afternoon boat cruise. The menu was good, the food was fine, and the service was unremarkable. It was only a quarter full yet we waited a good 10 min for the 4 hostesses to decide where to seat us. The waiter was polite, but would be MIA for 20 minutes at a time. A dinner that should have taken an hour, took 2!
The food at Pinstripes was delicious, service was excellent, and we had very accommodating servers. It was s lovely evening, so dinner outside was our choice and a much quieter one without a doubt. It was far more casual than I expected. It’s a perfect choice for families and the connected bowling alley & bocce courts make for a fun evening. We brought our grandchildren, so needless to say, it was a fantastic choice.
A friend and I met at Pinstripes for lunch. I had the turkey wrap and salad combo. The wrap was filled mostly with lettuce and little turkey. Salad consisted of a small portion of lettuce with a nice dressing. Would have been nice if the wrap contained more turkey and the salad a few other vegetables. Perhaps I should have tried their flatbreads.
I always enjoy the food here. This time was no different.....the Italian Jambalaya is my favorite dish. I also want to say my waiter, Virgil, was awesome. He was attentive without being overbearing and EXTREMELY personable. We enjoyed talking with him!!!
Great place for kids.
Exceeded our expectations. We are so glad to have found this little Georgetown gem.
We have loved pinstripes but the past couple times have been increasingly slipping in service and food taste.
Server seemed overextended. He was nice, but clearly a bit stretched. Orders came out of kitchen incorrectly. We have had other great experiences there, but caught it on an off night.
My husband , son and I were visiting DC and found the concept of this restaurant to be interesting. Unfortunately , food and service were awful! Didn’t get any silverware or drinks till food had already been served. Servers kept coming back with other people’s orders! Very expensive for unappetizing food!
Place is a nice ambiance but workers were totally not together !
The food service was great! When it was time for us to bowl the service was horrible. It was one hour before closing, maybe less. Everyone was more focused on leaving than serving the late-coming guests. We got there at about 11:40. Had bowling reservations for 12am. The Lane was ready at about 12:15am. They walked us to the back to bowl and one of the waiters came and asked did we need anything to drink then left. No one bothered to ask to get us started on the lane. I went around looking for her and one of the waiters said they would get her but even he looked as if he was uninterested and ready to go. Which I understand, but at least make sure we are taken care of then proceed to cleaning. At about 12:36am still no one helped us with the lane and they were closing, so why stay? Management was WONDERFUL! The young lady at the front was WONDERFUL! The man that helped us when we first got there was GREAT! (Should’ve got names). I just wish that one of them would’ve helped us throughout the night because the staff at the bowling section were simply ready to go! Management gave us a refund without hesitation! They Apologized and gave my party of 7 a complimentary hour of bowling or bocce. I would go to Pinstripes again but definitely not after 9pm.
Pleased with the experience. Good server and great food.
A little chaotic at the front desk. 3 staff but little action. Loved the bowling. Our lane was slow so they offered an extra 10 minutes free which we appreciated as it meant we could finish our game. Food was basic but good. All in all a good fun evening
Hubby and I had our Valentines date for Sunday Brunch. Bowling is fun when you can get a lane. Recommend scheduling bowling far in advance. LOVE the food and mimosas. The location is perfect for the after meal walk. Been here several times and was NEVER disappointed.
Always enjoy ourselves here...great food...awesome service!!
Pinstripes has great happy hour and brunch options. I recently went for brunch with my college roommates. For $36, we got bottomless mimosas and an all-you-can-eat buffet. It was well worth every penny.
We don’t normally do brunch but Heard good things about Pinstripes. We were not disappointed. There was a good variety of food and the chocolate fondue fountain with other desserts was great! Our server was excellent. Next time we will book a bowling lane (which you should definitely do in advance). Another plus- Kids 5 and under eat for free!
We live in Georgetown and frequent Pinstripes often for both lunch and dinner. It never disappoints and we recommend it wholeheartedly.
Always a good meal for a good price. I have had brunch birthday parties there with friends. It’s always a successful time.
We enjoyed very much the Sunday brunch. It is a good value with good quality food and includes bottomless mimosas. It was great for large groups and families. I plan to return for brunch.
First but not my last time going! The food was GREAT but the service could have been a little better. Several times we had to wait on our Mimosas to be refilled. Other then that we had a great time!
Overall it was a good experience. However, the server seemed to be in a rush. I believe his name was Joe...he was attentive and checked on us often enough but we had to ask for another round of drinks and we also had to ask for a dessert menu. We recognized his attentiveness as hurrying us up. He even collected his tip before we left the table. Maybe he had somewhere to be.
We made a reservation for the bistro but when we arrived they said they were closing early and set us in the bar. We wanted somewhere quiet but the bar was very noisy. We asked if we could have something right away to eat before we ordered entrees and they said they bring us bread which they never did. I asked about it and they said they had run of bread. They also had run out of one of the entrees that we ordered. The food was absolutely delicious and the Ambiance was nice.
The service was good but the food wasn’t great. Our server was attentive and kept coming back to check on us. We don’t go out to eat much so when we do we like it to be worth our trip and this just wasn’t. The food was just ok. It didn’t seem fresh.
Incredible experience at Pinstripes! The staff there treated us like royalty. The food was fresh, very tasty, and well presented. We loved bowling after our meal. I am excited to return to Pinstripes!
For an establishment that bills itself as appropriate for large parties, it unfortunately seemed inadequately prepared for us. On Sat. night, 7:45pm - peak dining time - we were informed when placing our order that they had run out of two items on the menu. No problem, we ordered other things. After waiting for our food for 30 minutes or more, a manager came out to apologize to two people at our table, informing them that they'd ordered an entree that they had since run out of. Graciously, he offered to comp their meals, but then we knew what would happen - even though we were assured it wouldn't. Eight of us would be served first, and their two meals would come out later. Oddly, when delivery of the food began, one person at our table was served his meal alone. After another 10 minutes or so, 7 of us were served. And then another 5-10 minutes later, those two who'd placed their orders later were finally served. While some people were pleased with their meals once served, others complained that the temperature was off. Overall, the experience left most of us unsatisfied and doubtful as to whether we'd return.
I should note that my low rating for Service is not for the wait staff - they were friendly, efficient and apologetic for the missteps. The blame should really go to how the restaurant and kitchen are managed. Of course, large parties can be difficult, but they really should've had a better handle on which items they were running low on and communicated that with us sooner. In addition, they should have managed delivery of the entrees better once the errors had been made.
Finally, this is nit-picky but still left an impression on my overall experience. The next day, I received an email via OpenTable that my reservation had been cancelled - even though I'd checked in at the hostess desk, informing them of my OpenTable reservation. So I had to send a message to OpenTable asking for my points to be credited, which they thankfully did so promptly.
You need to go here. Great service, wonderful food. Cool. It is dinner and a movie pricing but worth the dough.
The waitstaff really need to work on being more friendly, especially first thing in the morning. Nobody wants to see a sour face when walking in the door. They seemed clueless and annoyed because we arrived 10 minutes early. We were given morning menus for ten minutes bc someone couldn’t tell us it was lunch at 11. Our waiter seemed annoyed and unsmiling. If you want a better tip, greet the table kindly with a smile . The restaurant experience will not send me back anytime soon.
Wait staff was quick to clear tables
All around a good place to eat, and very good location!
Waiter(s) were present to take our order and bring drinks but then we didn’t see them again for almost 25 minutes. When food arrived it was all cold—cheese on pizza had already congealed. My husband had the lasagna which was too salty for him to eat. I recall having a good flatbread pizza there a couple years ago but this was horrible. We will not be going back.
Tasty casual fare, delivered in so-so ambience. On the night that we visited, the dining room was too cold, we couldn't have the draft beers we ordered because they were all coming out warm, and then we had to remind our server to take the draft beers off of the tab.
The meal was good and the staff tried to accommodate my friend’s gluten free lifestyle. However, we seemed to have been forgotten by our waiter, making us late for our bocce reservation. They then agreed to carry our children’s desserts to the bocce court. There was a mixup with the desserts and the waitress said that we had ordered something else...but we finally ended up with what we wanted. It all ended well with a few laughs, but the service could have been better.
My family came to visit us in DC for the holidays. I was looking for a dinner / activity for our large group that would accommodate children (ages 13-19) and the adults, who prefer a nice glass of wine to bowling. So this was the perfect spot. The plan was to bowl and then have dinner in the restaurant. Unfortunately our bowling alley had technical issues during our game, and after many attempts to repair it, the manager offered to move us to an alternate lane. Because we were headed to dinner, we were unable to accept his offer. He generously compensated us for the inconvenience without any discussion. We then had a perfect dinner for 10 of us. Thank you so much!
Went here for sunday brunch with family that was visiting from out of town. We had three kids, so thought it would be good. The food was over-priced and it wasn't that great for kids. We didn't know you had to reserve the bowling lanes ahead of time...
The menu was so diverse. We ordered the Short Ribs based on our servers recommendation and were blown away, best dinner I've had out in a long time.. Definitely casual but the food was prepared and presented like a high end restaurant. The hostess was a snob and inattentive but our server more than made up for it, he was excellent. Friendly and funny, added to the positive experience.
Had a good meal
