Pinstripes - Chicago
We always make a point of hitting this brunch when we’re in town, with kids or without kids. The food is really good. The ambience is nice. The service is good. And if we’re with the kids, we make a one hour bocce reservation, as well. We’re not into sports but it’s just enough for a little fun and family laughs. We’ve had the food and desserts here when it was NOT brunch, and we were not happy. But the brunch?...Good stuff!
Amazing views, beautiful decor and delicious food! Servers could be a little more attentive! Can’t wait to return on our next chicago visit!
Amazing place to hang out very very cool atmosphere food was great you even got to see the fireworks love that the scenery around you is Picture Perfect they even give you blankets by the fire loved it
Nice brunch spot. Food was pretty good but could have been replenished more frequently so it was fresher. I enjoyed the mini waffles but the server was really stingy with the syrup. The view on the patio was really lovely.
The food is always delicious and fresh! My favorites are the salad with the vinaigrette dressing, the grilled zucchini, and the sausage and waffles! This is one of my favorite Sunday buffets. Amber was very attentive! Always refilling water when needed. Always asking if we are good! Thanks Amber for being at our service! Hope to See you next time.
Outstanding! The prime rib pretzel sandwich is my favorite and the hummus platter for an appetizer.
Good place for families.
Service was a little slow but food was great and it was not too loud that I couldn’t hear my friend talking!
always a great time. i enjoy the outside area. Bryce is one of the more attentive servers.
The service was impeccable and the food was good we had an amazing time
Pinstripes is a great neighborhood place to dine and to socialize. The views on the patio overlooking the River are fabulous. The food is consistent and very good. Fantastic Streeterville location!
We had issues with our bowling lane and they comped us an app
My friend had dietary restrictions, and our waiter went above and beyond to get her a special meal prepared since she couldn’t do brunch.
Mother’s Day brunch
I wish when I'd made the reservation for 2:30 and then spoke to the restaurant, that someone had mentioned that the Saturday style Buffet ended at 2 pm. That's been my primary reason for coming.
However, as Joel the GM stated, the MOD manager did honor my coupon for $15, even though it had expired April 2019. That made me feel better for saving my son some $$$ on our Mother's Day.
Salmon was great, and gave me 3 meals. Calamari was very tiny and just Ok. His Pizza was amazing.
Wish there was a way for a quieter corner to just talk. We didn't have my grandkids this time, so it helped some.
The food was very good and the price was completely reasonable. When we needed our check quickly the staff accommodated. Overall a good experience.
We had NO reservation because Open Table no longer has a relationship with Pinstripes.
The brunch was amazing well worth the price. I will return for another brunch but in a few months. So much food.
Fries were served cold. Italian sausage had more of a kick than was told about by server. Had heartburn the rest of the night. Burgers were great.
Ate lunch on patio. Had best server ever, Michelle. Good food at reasonable prices. Definitely one of our favorite places to dine for good food in comfortable surroundings.
The food was better than I expected for a bistro with bowling alley. Good variety on menu. Food was tasty and service was very good. Nice place for a quick meal.
We had a leisurely lunch on the patio on a beautiful early spring day. Service was attentive but the kitchen was slow taking 2 hours to complete the meal. We had plenty of time so it was no problem. There is a new menu and of course my favorite burratta salad is gone. I hope it returns sometime. We eat here often so I think the slow kitchen turn around was due to staffing issues maybe. This is one of my favorite lunch spots for very good food at a reasonable price.
Pinstripes brunch is a really great value for the amount of food you receive and you get 1 mimosa with it which is very nice. They were able to accomodate our party which was 4 adults & 3 kids under 3 years old. They were there able to give us a larger table to spread out a bit and put in high chairs.
Food was good and it's a nice atomosphere.
Great brunch! Went with a friend for yoga and brunch great experience. Love the option of doing both.
Awesome!! Food was great! It was so nice in the restaurant. Waiter was very friendly. Drinks were a bit expensive. $13 for a glass of wine. I understand it is the city.
Great food, but bad service. Pretty sure the manger knew as he comped us a great desert. May have been a fluke, ‘cause food was really good.
ALTHOUGH VERY LIMITED... WE REALLY APPRECIATE THE VEGAN MENU!!!
WE WISH WE WOULD HAVE KNOWN ABOUT MAKING RESERVATIONS FOR BOWLING/BOCCI. WE WANT TO COME BACK, AND DO THAT, TOO!
Not a very broad menu, but very good food quality. Happy hour pricing is pretty good for drinks. Little bit of noise from the events, not terrible though. Only issue was difficulty getting ahold of a server.
Slow service considering a 5:30 reservation and empty dining room. Asked about happy hour and was told it only applied to bar or patio. No offer to move tables. My wife inquired about a vegetable or leafy green in a pasta dish, lack there of. The response was -“the rosemary is green”. I would think it would be a simple add to offer adding a handful of spinach to a pasta dish. Two bus boys also passed our table by and watched my wife and I clean up half a plate of spaghetti my daughter dropped on the ground. No offer to help or bring additional napkins. Average food. Felt like everything had potential just fell flat.
Always a great place to visit because service is great
My sisters and I took my parents here for their birthday. Everyone enjoyed buffet!
This was such a sweet spot to eat, loved the combo meal for lunch. Our service was very informed and helpful, the dumpling soup was so perfect for the weather and extremely tasty. Both combinations made the experience very pleasant
Great time...great food...we will be back!
We visit yearly from out of town with 3 young children and make this our first stop every time. Great food and service for families and large groups.
Very easy to make a reservation and we were seated right away. Food is always great. I always bring my family here when they visit from out of town and they love it! My only complaint is that there aren’t enough options if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies (gluten free, dairy free). I asked for non-dairy options for my coffee and the server offered non-fat milk, which is still dairy.
Great food and great service!
We eat at Pinstripes frequently and are rarely disappointed. Bolognese sauce—at least that we’ve ever tried, has never been 3 chili pepper hot, and the chopped salad was salty. Hummus app was great as always. Guess we should’ve stuck to what we have eaten in the past.
We have been there many times and it never disappoints. Everything and everyone is great!
Generally Pinstripes has better than average food for a reasonable price. It is near our home so we are regular patrons. Recently I have noticed that the portion size is getting smaller and presentation is declining. I am not a big eater so historically this has not been an issue outside of the economics. However my last visit this was not the case. I ordered the open face salmon sandwich. I ate the side salad in three bites, more like a garnish, and the salmon was the smallest portion I think I have ever seen. Looked like a salmon fish stick. Not sure if this is a management decision or if they are just in the winter doldrums. I read they have taken on a partner to help expand. Hope the decline is just a blip and not due to the new partners influence. That would be unfortunate.
Never Disappointed. Best Brunch Buffet. Ever!
Great GF food and always great service !!!
